It’s a good idea to call ahead and reserve a table before you arrive. The food is excellent! The menu isn’t very large, but I honestly think you can’t go wrong with anything you choose. I was especially impressed by their sausages – absolutely delicious! All the dishes are mildly seasoned, which makes the flavors just perfect. The only big downside is that they don’t accept card payments, so make sure to bring cash.

Amazing lunch! Perfect setting and delicious food and wine. Pasta with truffles, ravioli with pork and a great minestrone soup (more like a lentil soup).

Great experience! Food was fantastic, the staff full of understanding and patience for kiddo. Local cat was nearby chilling and adding to the atmosphere of authentic local setting. Couldn’t have been a nicer day.

2.65 ⭐️ After a nearby wine tasting, I found this place and was mind blown by how high the rating was in contrast to the number of reviews, which is always a good sign. So we put it to the test. In short: tremendous disappointment. Starting with prosciutto, cheese, and wine, which were decent, along with the truffle steak. No complaints there. The “star” of the show was definitely gnocchi, both with venison and goulash. It seems like a small amount of soup splashed into gnocchi. Just look at the photos. Embarrassing and unacceptable, especially outside of the tourist season. We informed our server about it, but she said that is how it is. To make it up for that, they offered free spirits and small deserts bites on the house, which was nice of them. All in all, go for the meats, but the competition around is so good you are better off going somewhere else.

We had the pasta with truffle, istrian ham, a salad and a dessert. It was amazing, the pasta was our favourite dish it was perfectly al dente and the shape was the perfect surface area to grab all that truffle and parmesan goodness! The service was so sweet, they didn’t speak much english but they really tried to accommodate us (I wasn’t feeling very well so I couldn’t eat much but he looked so worried and said he could make 1.5 portions of pasta just for us so I would eat something but I wanted to explain that my stomach was just wonky). Really really sweet people and such a cosy ambiance, 100% recommend! The food is also very very good, not touristy like most other places within motovun itself, very worth driving out here.

Excellent home made Istrian pasta and cakes. Great service, we made a reservation only 15 mins before and it wasn’t a problem. I will definitely come again. :)

Food was very tasty and service was excellent. We had minestrone soup, pasta with truffles, rump stake with truffles, cheesecake and a nice white wine. We received from the house a local liquor which was also good. Affordable prices, we paid in euros, as we didn't have kuna cash, and couldn't pay by card. Strongly recommend the place if you like truffles.
