Konoba Dubrava

We came here a couple of months ago! It was a really lovely restaurant up the mountain from Dubrovnik, a short ten minute taxi ride. The octopus was the best cooked octopus you will ever eat! It was so so tender. It is a lot of octopus it eat! We also ordered the homemade apple streudel and it was also very good. We also ordered the feta salad. This is a must order as it was so so fresh!! And to start the meal they give you a little homemade cherry liquor that was so amazing I wish I could have taken home a bottle. I would recommend a visit if you are interested in trying traditional Croatian cooking

A friend recommended this restaurant and I can happily say it did not disappoint! Whilst not located centrally, it is worth the cab ride. The slow cooked lamb with potatoes was divine. Soft and tender. The service was perfect, polite and courteous from start to finish. You are given complimentary cherry liqueur shots. Food arrived promptly. Wonderful experience and a perfect meal to end my Dubrovnik experience on. Thank you Konoba Dubrava x

Highly recommend this restaurant! My partner and I went for dinner last night, and it was the best meal of our entire Croatian trip - the food is so so flavourful and fresh, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the restaurant atmosphere is absolutely beautiful. We had a wonderful night here, this restaurant is a must visit, it is a very special place. My partner had the lamb and said it’s the best lamb he’s had in his entire life!

Had a fantastic dinner here! The food was exquisite, and the service was impeccable. The octopus baked under the iron bell was extraordinary. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful experience. A special thank you to Zdravko, his customer service skills were excellent. Highly recommend!

Really beautiful place with wonderful waiters and delicious food. We ordered lamb and veal "ispod peke" and got huge portions. The meats were soft and succulent and just optimally salted. We got drinks of welcome, delicious homemade walnut liquor. We also ordered desserts - Dubrovačka rožata and Štrudle, the latter ones being particularly delicious and melting in our mouth.

We visited KONOBA DUBRAVA after our boat driver recommended it, and it truly exceeded our expectations. Our waitress, Anna, went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and happy. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was fantastic. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience! We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great local cuisine.

This is a scam, was recommended by a taxi driver to come here, the amazing Peka was very disappointing, the potatoes were burnt, the meat dry and there is just potatoes which are bad, and it is so hard to make bad potatoes. We even called before and ordered 3h before, so that they would have time to prepare came 5 min late and still had to wait for 30 more min, this was not cooked for 2 hours before. and just lots of oil everywhere. Would not recommend.

If you want to try their 3 hour meat cooked over the hot iron n you need to book 3 hours prior. I had the iron lamb dish with potatoes and it was the best lamb I’ve ever eaten, a huge portion and falling apart. The potatoes have a similar flavour to that of roast potatoes as they’re cooked in the juices of the meet and equally delicious. The prices were value for money compared to the town. Service - excellent! The atmosphere on the terrace was better but unfortunately full.
