Konoba Galija

We are returning guests here for last 10 years but we don't know any staff by name, lol. Inside there is a small garden with roaming tortoise. Part of restaurant is A/C pleasant, but otherwise never too hot. Great food, constant quality, reasonable prices. Very attentive and professional staff. Owners opened a new place on the main riva, but we keep on returning here. Dont change what is not broken ;)

I have chosen the place because of good reviews and location off the very center of Krk to avoid tourists trap. We attended around 13pm and the restaurant was almost empty (its not bad but need to mention it because of service). First, our order was delivered properly no issues here. Meals were good, not great tho. I had grilled calamari and it was tasteless I have to use serious amount of salt and pepper with provided lemon slice to make it tastier. I can compare it as I already had some in few other croatian places...overall okeish but not going for it again. To be on fair side, pasta dish with seafood was delicious. Kids had a pizza and was baked in firewood owen so also very nice. The issue came speaking of waiters which were basically ignoring our presence...waiting for like 15mins just to tell the waiter to pay and take leftovers with us then again another twenty minutes to ask the waiter to pay...yes I got upset by that (and sweared to let the steam out, sorry for that...but I have not addressed any of these to anyone- not offending anyone, again mentioning it to be fair). What I have experienced is that they treat their customers differently depending whether you are foreigner or "local" croatian...believe me I could compare it seeing it right in front of me as locals were served completely different way. To sum it up, its about average 3 star experience... aka just good. But tbh I will never come back...also check other foreigners reviews not just locals ones.

We have ate already four times at Konoba Galija, in our one week spent in Krk. We have tried various dishes, like seafood pasta, pizza, grilled squid or fish. All of them were very tasty and high quality. I definitely recommend Konoba Galija.

Excellent food and value! We came here 2 days in a row for dinner. We had their truffle pasta, seafood spaghetti, mussels, pizza, steak and all 3 of their soups and all taste amazing! I’m genuinely impressed. The portion is also big we all leave with a full tummy! The service is also excellent, toilet is clean and spacious. The queue is not as long because it is located more far away from the centre where most restaurants are located. But Definitely recommend!

Cozy atmosphere, nice and fast service, delicious food! We wanted to try the fish soup, and they easily served us a portion in two bowl. The salty fish pizza was tasty, as well as the pistachio tiramisu. Our dog was allowed inside too

Fish menu for 2 was great. Easy seating and good service during lunch hour, end of August. Kid friendly (changing table in the bathroom, a high chair on demand and no-salt on the side dishes).

Service was very good, very friendly and food came fast, very nice dinner would recommend steaks, never had so delicious steak before

You eat whatever you pick, quality of fish is really good. Delicious
