Konoba Nostalgija

After a long day of traveling, we stumbled upon this place, and we definitely didn’t regret it. Wow, what a fantastic experience! Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and made with local ingredients. I was born and raised in France, and I have to say, their cheese plate even topped the ones back home! The house wine paired perfectly with my sea bass, and my boyfriend had a red wine (something with “Delusional” in the name) that went wonderfully with his meat dish. The dessert wine was also exceptional, and the desserts themselves were light and delicious, almost felt healthy! I’d highly recommend dining here if you’re looking for fresh, high-quality food and a memorable experience. The service was warm and the staff incredibly friendly, it really made the whole evening special.

We had a fantastic meal at this unassuming family restaurant. Amazing quality food, beautifully presented and made with locally sourced ingredients. My standout was the sea bass, one of the best I’ve had! The service was great too. Go and eat there!!

One of the Best Dining Experiences in Sibenik! Nostalgija offers delicious local food with a modern twist – a perfect balance of tradition and creativity. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The service was also outstanding – friendly, professional, and attentive without being intrusive! Huge recommendation!

One of our highlights in Šibenik. Best cheese I have ever had, and everything else was just amazing. Very good service as well. Even the dessert with figs paired so nicely with the dessert wine. I really recommend this place for some locally sourced ingredients presented beautifully and delicious.

We arrived (with a reservation) to one of the staff being very concerned as it was a holiday for Croatia and they were not able to accommodate (the already small menu). He went through the menu with us in detail and what was not available before he let us sit down. They clearly care deeply about making customers happy (and also about the qualify of their ingredients). Despite the abbreviated menu, we decided to stay and are so happy that we did. Every dish was well thought out, presented beautifully, and a perfect combination of flavors. It is a konoba, so “traditional” in many ways but felt to me like a modern interpretation of tradition. They have a list of their suppliers’ first names at the back of the menu, so you know ingredients truly are local/fresh. If you have a very picky eater, it might be a little difficult (although we had one and did well!), but otherwise I highly recommend for Croatian food with a twist and fantastic staff. Emma one of the waitstaff was so lovely :)

Perfect fusion of fresh local ingredients and wine with detailed and nice presentation of young staff creates very nice and relaxed ambient for dinner. Different from most of local restaurants makes this place one of my favorites! Coming back soon!

Hello ! We've been to Split and Dubrovnik juste before. Sibenik is so cute and lovely, calm and peaceful, without a lot of crowd. And this restaurant is just the crystal of this city. A bit expansive yes but it's worth it. The different waiters were very professional and the cooks know their job. A traditional cuisine with a mastery of all the ingredients served and explained with accuracy. A lot of restaurants from all around the continent need to learn from them. It's the same price as others but with a perfect service and a lovely atmosphere, go without any hesitation ! Surprises are along the way

Best place to have a unique experience! It is a family owned restaurant with an unusual concert. Each of their food is a piece of art, so nice and a very interesting combination of tastes. The staff team is very kind, explaining about the food with a passion and always close around. They even created custom paper table mats with different historical facts and information, I was enjoying reading about Tesla. Very smart. This place will be great for a nice and unforgettable dinner!
