Konoba Portun

We have dine in for a special occasion, the restaurant is located on the seaside, so beautiful location with rocky mountains surrounding us in 360, we have ordered slow cooked lamb, vegetable pasta, grilled shrimps, whisky , cocktail, beer and blackforest cake. All the dishes were so nice and smooth, the cake taste so delicious. The staff were so friendly and serves best with upmost patience, quiet evening to spend quality time with friends or partner. They offer bread cheese and cream for pasta. Wonderful evening to spend time

It was a very good experience. Every dish was delicious. I ordered tempura shrimp, black rice, seafood platter for two, and pasta. It was so delicious! He also prepared a birthday surprise for me.

Konoba Portun was an excellent choice for dinner. We loved the location, the food, and the service. Igor was fantastic and by the end of the evening it felt like we were friends. We chatted about life, his food and wine recommendations, and he made great choices for us when the dishes came out. We ordered the chef’s seafood selection for two, and it was perfect. Every bite was delicious. It paired well with the large selection of local wines. I highly recommend this place for both lunch and dinner.

On a misty Kotor afternoon, we popped in for a late lunch. Atmosphere was great, waiter was super friendly and attentive. Food was amazing and fresh, local wine was delicious and very reasonably priced for what you get.

We didn’t have a reservation and ended up sitting out on the patio for dinner. Normally, that would’ve been fine, but with the wind warning it was quite cold even after they turned on the heater. Despite these circumstances, this was the best meal we’ve had in Montenegro. The fish thick soup had so many dimensions. (I’ve been ordering fish soup at various establishments throughout our trip.) The homemade pasta with shrimp was cooked perfectly. (The shrimp was so fresh!) My husband ordered the grilled sea bass and sea bream fillet and that was excellent as well. Not overcooked, with a crispy exterior. If we’re ever in the area, would definitely come again.

Delicious dinner at Portun Ronona was recommended by another restaurant owner as this was one of the few high quality restaurants open in the winter time. We ordered the Octopus, black risotto, and gnocchi. Everything was delicious and the octopus was SO SOFT! The service was friendly. Prices are also extremely reasonable. Will definitely be back!

It’s the most enjoyable and welcoming place in Dobrota. Breakfast is a pleasure in its own way, and dinner is a pleasure in its own way, too. The best seafood and the best breakfast platter in the area are here. We’ve been coming for 10 years, and we’ll keep coming… Many thanks to Igor for hosting us with such a warm smile.

We stopped here for a late lunch/early dinner twice over a long weekend in Dobrota & Kotor. Traveling with a toddler, we appreciated that we could order from the kitchen all day, rather than during limited lunch and dinner hours. Service was personable and kind. Fish was fresh, simply prepared, and delicious. Wine pairings were available at a variety of price points. Over two meals, we had the fish paté, pumpkin soup, pesto pasta, seafood platter for two, as well as whole roasted fish. All were excellent and great for sharing with a group. (The toddler loved them too!)
