I visited this restaurant with high expectations after hearing many good things. I ordered the sepia risotto and the baked fish. Unfortunately, both dishes were under-seasoned and the flavors were rather ordinary, without anything that stood out. On the positive side, the service was attentive and pleasant, which made the dining experience somewhat enjoyable

Great food and service at this establishment. Recommend the fish soup, squid risotto, and scallops for sure. Main dish we had the Scampi, Anglerfish, and the platter for two. All were nice and we enjoyed a pleasant dinner. Was also gifted some Italian Vodka on the house at the end:) Very nice ambiance and overall dining experience

Delicious food and a great dining experience! The seafood was fresh, with plenty of choices on the menu to suit different tastes. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the meal even more enjoyable. Would definitely come back!

Absolutely amazing experience. Great fish that you can see in on ice in the restaurant. Service is friendly and fast. The wine is great and they have other options aside from wine as well. My fish soup was refreshing and tasty, great for a rainy day. I greatly enjoyed the fresh warm bread for the table. The wine was fully body with a dry and well developed experience. The meal I decided on was the angler fish. Fish was cooked perfectly and was simply yet full of flavor. Great crispy corners and light seasoning. Potatoes and Chard were delicious. I enjoyed a digestive drink afterwards and it was delightful. Very wonderful experience! I plan to bring my friends to this place many times in the future. Cheers!

This Croatian restaurant in Vienna was a true surprise. From the very first moment, the atmosphere transports you to the Dalmatian coast: warm decor and the aroma of homemade cooking that immediately whets your appetite. The menu offers an excellent selection of traditional Croatian dishes, prepared with authenticity and rich flavor. Every dish was perfectly seasoned and lovingly presented. The fresh seafood and the quality of the ingredients truly make a difference. The service was very friendly and efficient—always attentive without being intrusive. Additionally, the wine list includes some Croatian gems that pair perfectly with the dishes. An ideal place for those who miss the flavors of the Adriatic or want to discover the richness of Croatian cuisine without leaving Vienna.

Never eaten Croatian food, and wow, it was so good. So tasty. The staff (all Croatian) are super kind, super friendly and super attentive. Fast service too. Non alcoholic beer was amazing, soups were amazing, risotto was amazing, octopus was amazing, John Dory was amazing. Really, you should visit this place. Highly recommend. Prices were extremely good. Decor, ambience, everything was perfect. Located on a vibrant street, east to reach. Fig was not ripe enough for my liking, that’s the only negative for me. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal

The best place to get Croatian food! I love the sea bream, mussels, and their Prosip white wine — absolutely delicious! Great atmosphere, friendly service, and beautiful interior design. It really feels like a little escape to Croatia 🇭🇷✨

Amazing Croatian seafood restaurant with phenomenal dishes - everything was made fresh from the open kitchen and staff were very friendly and humble. The mussels were so yummy that I had to order them twice! Before we left the restaurant, we were even offered free shots by the staff! Number 1 restaurant we’ve been so far in Vienna. Must visit again!

WOW! I'm from a seaside city and this is a landlocked city so I am hesitant to order seafood here but this place is special. Everything we ordered was spectacular. We had several appetizers and the fish platter for 2 persons, desert and cheese. They brought us some kind of Grapa at the end of the meal just because. The fish was perfection. You can actually choose your own fish from the case if you want. Everything is super fresh. The staff are very professional. We had a reservation but the table was ours for only 2 hours which was disappointing. Otherwise I couldn't have been happier.

Really love this restaurant. My friend and me come here twice even we only stayed in Vienna for 3 days. And the second time when we came here, the staff recognized us with greeting . Really good sea food and excellent service! The staff speak really good English and explained patiently to us about the dishes, most importantly, the dishes were elegant and tasty!

This place turned out to be a nice find tucked away on Lerchenfelderstrasse. The seafood was delightful and tasted fresh! I had grilled calamari and they were delishious! The seasoning was right and the portion size was price-appropriate. Another plus: non-smoking all the way and the staff is friendly! They had no issue when we wanted to customize our orders to meet our dietary needs. I'm only deducting a star for the fact that the salad was disappointing. It was really dry as if it had been sitting out for a long time. But I will definitely go again!

Great grilled seabass fish I had there. Place is clean and delicious. Highly recommend it.

Such a delicious dinner and a wonderful atmosphere. We ate here on New Year's Eve and absolutely loved it. The open kitchen format is awesome because you get to see all the work the culinary team puts into preparing the food.

The food was superb. The service was impeccable. Our dinner there was the best meal we had in Vienna, which is a high standard. The restaurant is a bit pricey, but not when you consider the quality of the food. You won't go wrong here. Highly recommended.

This is by far one of my favorite spots here in Vienna! The first time I visited this place I was dressed extremely casual (maybe even inappropriate); as there was a party there celebrating something and were all very well dressed.. Regardless, the staff made us feel so welcomed, that we have returned many times. The food is consistently spectacular (FRESH fish!) and the people are warm and welcoming.

People often complain about fresh fish in the city, being that Vienna is landlocked, but Konoba serves it up right! I had an amazingly fresh Calamari plate cooked the way I asked, without garlic, paired with boiled potatoes, not butttery or salty and a side salad. They seem to care about the taste of the food itself without overly spicing things, however, the salad was bland and dry and we had to ask for dressing. The waiters are friendly and serve up nice smiles with the food. Compared to other fish specialty restaurants in the city, the price is also right. I am definitely going to be back!

We saw the reviews and went there last minute. The restaurant is specialised in fish and that's pretty much all you should order there. We went for the sharing platter for 2 and a bottle of croatian wine. The wine was solid and offered a good quality for the price. The food was ok, but it seemed a bit boring. The 3 filets we had were all small and not seasoned well. The whole fish on the plate was ok, but nothing really special also in terms of size it was quite small. Overall the plate was mainly potatoes with some small pieces of fish that lacked proper seasoning. The highlight was the octopus, but unfortunately there were only 2 very small pieces on the plate. I won't go back there.
