Everything you need in a coffee shop, nothing you don’t. I started my day here in Budapest and ended up coming back a second time. The coffee is honestly some of the best I’ve had anywhere. No nonsense, just pure quality. I got the filter coffee, which had real flavor notes (like red apple and black tea), served at the perfect temperature in preheated cups. You get exactly two cups from their pouring pot, and they even give you free water. The staff is friendly and clearly knows their stuff. They’re happy to talk about the coffee if you ask. The store is minimalist but still cozy and intentional in its design. I like that they stick to their philosophy: no americano, no sugar in the filter, just good coffee done right. Both times I visited in the morning, there was enough space and it never felt crowded or loud. There’s no background music blasting, just a calm and clean vibe. Prices are fair for what you get (about 3 euros for a coffee), and the banana bread was moist and tasty too. No downsides. If you want a real cup of coffee in Budapest, this place is it.

Quite big but still cozy. Staffs are friendly, speaks english well, knows how to make good service. We got flat white with oatmilk, foam is a little bit thick to my standard, but flavor is good. Filter is also good, clean and sweet. Croissant is perfect 🤘

The coffee was delicious. The food was good and well presented. I was just a little shocked at the price in comparison to all the other cool and delicious places I've tried during my stay. I paid £20 for avo toast, with salmon and coffee which is more than I'd pay in some places in London 😅

Kontakt and Szimply serve the best coffee in Budapest, paired with a delicious, though slightly pricey and smaller, breakfast. It’s smart how they’ve connected the two spots for more space and comfort. For a relaxed experience, it’s best to visit during the week.

Lovely rushed experience. I was rushing to take the train to my next coffee tour city - Vienna. When in Budapest for a good cup of coffee you know where @Solocafebyjustjose will be

Very friendly staff. Brunch was very yummy. We had the Avo toast and scrambled eggs. Both were good! The coffee was well made:) Overall one of our favorite breakfast/coffee stops in Budapest!

Before I came to this coffee shop, I had already been to several in Budapest. It has a very simple and modest interior, but the atmosphere is bursting with creativity and interesting people! The coffee was perfect, I had two cappuccinos. I wanted to buy a couple bags of coffee, but unfortunately there was no more space in my suitcase. Will definitely be back for more bean packs!

A nice specialty coffee shop with good coffee and we really enjoyed the loaded bananabread.
