Everything you need in a coffee shop, nothing you don’t.
I started my day here in Budapest and ended up coming back a second time. The coffee is honestly some of the best I’ve had anywhere. No nonsense, just pure quality. I got the filter coffee, which had real flavor notes (like red apple and black tea), served at the perfect temperature in preheated cups. You get exactly two cups from their pouring pot, and they even give you free water.
The staff is friendly and clearly knows their stuff. They’re happy to talk about the coffee if you ask. The store is minimalist but still cozy and intentional in its design. I like that they stick to their philosophy: no americano, no sugar in the filter, just good coffee done right.
Both times I visited in the morning, there was enough space and it never felt crowded or loud. There’s no background music blasting, just a calm and clean vibe. Prices are fair for what you get (about 3 euros for a coffee), and the banana bread was moist and tasty too.
No downsides. If you want a real cup of coffee in Budapest, this place is it.
