Konttaniemi Reindeer Farm

A 'must visit' to know more about the gentle Reindeers, their uses, existence and generally their life. The reindeers are trained in this park so that visitors can meet them upfront without any trouble.

It was an incredible experience meeting the reindeer and riding in the sleds. The atmosphere at this farm is filled with kindness and great attention to every guest. We had an amazing guide, and the reindeer ride is something we will remember for a long time! We never expected it to be such a thrilling ride. Afterward, we were treated to tea, coffee, and cookies, along with fascinating stories about the farm and the reindeer. Thank you for the warm hospitality! Highly recommended!

My visit to the reindeer farm was a truly remarkable and enjoyable experience. Riding a snow sled pulled by a majestic reindeer was fascinating and gave us a profound sense of connection to nature and its power. Afterwards, we entered the shaman's kota, where he conducted a special and inspiring traditional ceremony that added a spiritual and empowering dimension to the experience. It's a perfect blend of untamed nature, rich culture, and spirituality. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a unique and unforgettable adventure!

We booked a meet & greet with the reindeers on our own without a guide. The farm was not that big, but very familiar. The owner was very polite and friendly, she answered all our questions. We could feed and pet the reindeers only behind their fence, but they were very trustful so we had a lot of contact. In the end, we get hot coffee and tea and biscuits in their wooden house. In the snow, everything looks so amazing there. I highly recommend a visit there!

Loved this farm! Great tour and very cute reindeer. It was nice learning about them and being able to feed them. The coffee/tea and cookies was a nice touch as well.

Must visit when in Rovaniemi. Very beautiful place, with its long history. Cool adventure when dashing through the snow in a one deer open sleigh) short distanse is quite enough when with kids. Like a winter fairytale, I highly recommend

We booked the reindeer tour here in summer and it was awesome! We were only four so we could enjoy feeding the reindeer and they also showed us how to catch them! After that we got coffee/tea with biscuits and we could talk with them and they answered every question we had. It was a really nice experience. Would definitely recommend!
