Konventa Sēta Hotel Keystone Collection (Riga, Latvia) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Konventa Sēta Hotel occupies a 13th-century complex in the heart of Riga’s Old Town, where cobbled lanes and historic façades surround a series of restored buildings. Inside, 161 modern rooms and suites offer clean design: some with views of the city’s rooftops, others overlooking the leafy central courtyard. The location makes it easy to explore Riga’s landmarks on foot, while the atmosphere stays relaxed and residential. For events, several light-filled spaces combine centuries-old character with up-to-date technology, offering a setting that feels both distinctive and practical." - Tablet Hotels

What an amazing hotel! Staff is incredibly courteous and kind, rooms are nicely sized and well kept, and the location is awesome! Housekeeping is somehow staffed by ninjas… their presence is hardly noticeable except for trash removal and replenishing amenities. Only complaint is that because of its fabulous location and layout you consistently have geriatric tour groups parading through the courtyard which can make getting to your room challenging. If you’ve been debating which hotel to stay in during your time in Riga, this is the one!

Excellent central location. Newly decorated, stylish and sparkling clean. Great place to stay in heart of old town. Lovely professional staff. Breakfast is served in the bar opposite (Two More Beers) which is a bit dark, not somewhere you’d want to linger although you can sit outside if weather is ok. Don’t forget your umbrella & waterproofs - weather can be mixed even in Summer. We got a great deal on this hotel with Secret Escapes.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, surrounded by numerous great restaurants, cafes, and bars, making it incredibly convenient. The breakfast was outstanding, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The staff was exceptionally friendly and polite, ensuring a welcoming experience. The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. However, just a few things to consider: We stayed on the fourth floor, and you need to take the elevator to the third floor and then use the stairs. It wasn’t a problem for us, but it might be helpful to inform guests in advance in case they are unable to use the stairs. Also, it can be a bit noisy at night due to the restaurants below, and the windows can’t be opened because of the smell. While it didn’t bother us, guests seeking more privacy might want to request rooms away from the street. In any case, we would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again!

A very central hotel that’s spread across a number of low level buildings recently renovated into a hotel. We had a room in the roof of building 7. Was nice and quiet. Beds were firm and pillows less comfortable (a regular hotel challenge). Would be 5 star if the coffee machine wasn’t one use before paid - never seen that in a hotel before! We went out on our 2nd day for a delightful coffee for only a euro more :)

The location was excellent – central, peaceful, and within walking distance of everything we needed. The room was otherwise nice and generally clean. However, the main issue was the air conditioning. It was installed in the room, but it simply didn’t work. When we reported the problem, the response was dismissive – as if we just didn’t know how to operate it – even though it clearly wasn’t functioning. No compensation or proper solution was offered. A smaller issue was the shower drain: water pooled on the bathroom floor and took a long time to clear, which made showering for two people inconvenient. (We didn’t report this during the stay.) Overall, not a terrible stay, but we expected better – especially regarding the promised air conditioning.

This hotel is a wonderful place in a heart of Old Riga. Elegant ambience, great location and a sophisticated vibe. Definitely will come here again. Four stars are given, based on one unpleasant individual, unfortunately working there as a receptionist. Would like to suggest a management to remove her from clients facing position. Unprofessional individual named Agate, who put a darvas karoti/ fisherman’s wife’s attitude in my other wise very beautiful experience.

Recently, I had the pleasure of staying at a remarkable hotel in the very heart of Old Riga, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences of my travels!||Location is its biggest advantage. The hotel is nestled in a renovated historic building on a narrow cobblestone street, just steps away from Dome Square, Town Hall Square, and other iconic landmarks.||Interiors strike the perfect balance between history and modernity. Original elements have been preserved: exposed brick walls, wooden beams, and soaring vaulted ceilings. Yet, the rooms are equipped with the latest technology (sleek design, smart lighting systems, high-quality plumbing).||Breakfasts were diverse and delicious! The bread and butter, in particular, stood out – it was something truly special!||If you’re looking not just for a place to sleep, but to fully immerse yourself in Riga’s centuries-old atmosphere, this is the ideal spot. Perfect for romantic getaways, cultural tourism, and even family vacations. I will definitely return here on my next trip!||Rating: 5/5 ⭐️

We booked a standard room and it was so much more than we expected - so spacious! The room was quiet and just perfect. Also had complimentary tea and coffee in the room. It had a nice romantic feeling. The breakfast had a nice selection of foods and also a gluten-free bread upon request, which I appreciated. The hotel offered us parking nearby for 18 eur/night.
