Kool Vybes Bar And Jerk Center

We love Kool Vybes! It’s a restaurant we dream about back home and make it a point to visit each time. The jerk pork and chicken are always tasty and delicious. The curry chicken is my favorite in town. Their pineapple cole slaw is the perfect pair to any spicy food. Servers are always kind and accommodating. Thank you for continued delicious food!

Service/customer service was top notch, servers and cooks were very welcoming and kind. The food wasn’t the best I had on the island. Chicken and fish was a bit dry but rice and cabbage was very tasty. Night time has mosquitoes but the restaurant provided bug spray.

This place is amazing. Every single local I asked for a recommendation said Kool Vybes and get the pineapple slaw! It was worth a trip just for that, but I did get the brown stew chicken as well. Can you say fall off the bone tender and tasty😋 I got a to-go order and the plates were heavy! The owner came over and spoke while I was drinking my Red Stripe and waiting for my order and he is definitely good people.

We came here for a late lunch. The place is very well maintained and clean. Staff is very nice and welcoming. We ordered the 1/2 jerk chicken with salad, plantains, and curry goat with rice and veggie. We got the rum punch as well which was very strong but perfect for hot summer day! All the food tasted very flavorful and they cook it all right then. So it’s very fresh. Pricing is very reasonable too. The jerk sauce is pretty spicy but also super flavorful. We even bought a bottle to take back home with us. Highly recommend if you are in the area!

First spot in Negril reviewed, I had to as the jerk chicken was just out of this world, and pineapple slaw while sweet was simply scrumptious. It is worth going outside the western resorts to get a taste of local flavor!

Atmosphere is clean and fun. I got the garlic shrimp it is served with rice a veggies. Dh got spicy garlic shrimp it’s spicy d/t scotch bonnet peppers 🔥 we will back!

According to some locals in Negril, Kool Vybes Bar and Jerk Centre does the best jerk sauce in the city. After hearing such recommendations we had to give it a try, and the locals were absolutely right! The jerk sauce here was extremely tasty and the spice from the sauce really does hit you - beware it is a little bit spicy so if you like spice definitely pour a good portion alongside your meal. We ordered 1/2 jerk chicken with rice and peas together with festivals which was delicious. If you live in this side of town, or are around Rick’s cafe then definitely worth a visit!

If you’re looking for a place to eat with authentic, delicious food that is fair and honestly priced, this is your SPOT. The owner is so nice and gracious, the food is fresh, and the service is great. It was a pleasure to dine at Kool Vybes not once, but two nights in a row. Blessings!
