Koolar & Co – Food Review This was my first visit to Koolar & Co. I ordered chai and bun maska. The bun maska tasted more like a cheese bun rather than the classic Irani-style bun maska. It didn’t have that traditional buttery flavour. Chai was okay, nothing special or memorable. 💸 Price: ₹280 for 2 chai + 2 bun maska, which feels quite expensive for the taste and overall experience.

Old school Irani cafe in Matunga. Known for its Parsi breakfast and all day snacks, this cafe on the corner serves great Kheema Pav, Omelettes and the famous Bun Muska. The walls are paneled with wood and mirror and the floor is a checkerboard of old tiles, all typical to an Irani Cafe.

Only Cash accepted 😞 - *Overall Experience:* The ambience was a highlight.

If you are a fan of old parsi cafes then this should one of your top pics. A irani cafe can be best judged by its mutton kheema and this cafe serves one of the best kheema pavs. Price a bit on higher side Very clean and neat place. One can feel a time travel as the vibe and interiors are well preserved. Overall a very good experience

I had to come here because I heard the name of this place from somewhere. I ordered a chicken sandwich, but they said it was not available, so we ate nuggets instead. They brought tea along with it. By the time we finished the nuggets, the tea had gotten cold, so we had to drink it cold, and also ate bun maska. The taste of the tea and nuggets was good. Ambiance is okay okayish..

Let's be honest with ourselves you are not going here for the food but for the Insta aesthetics or to hear your neighbouring table talk about bollywood. The service time is long. And the taste is just okayish but I do wish such shops keep on functioning. Love how it has such an old world charm. The Plum cake is like a cherry on top
