Very interesting museum with lots of artifacts spanning the region's history. Many displays have English translations and there are QR codes to access online audio guides. The building, a former palace, is large and worth a visit.

I really liked this museum. There are NFC-tagged audioguides all over the museum, which allowed me to really dive into the content provided. The different floors have many different topics and everyone should find something interesting. Especially check out the outer building in the back of the garden, where you will find the lastest history of the region. Very interesting! The whole thing is also really cheap for students!

Impressive museum. There is a contemporary history wing which goes through WWI to present times, an excellent reminder of the recent struggles of the people. The rest of the museum is quite large and full of artifacts! Definitely worth a visit and the 9€ entry fee. It is laid out by historical era, so you can really get a feel for the evolution of the region!

The garden is very beautiful! The exhibition could be better guided/labeled etc.

Fantastic Museum - densely packed documentation of history, culture of Koper.
QR code with English/Italian/Slovenian audio guide on many of the exposed objects, with rich explanations, revealing details and interpretation to the objects.
This is very well worth time. Amazing.

Worth visiting, cheap tickets, great offer (the student ones cost just 2,5€!). Exhibits on several floors, there's also a small backyard as part of the museum. Feels as if it's kind of underrated, considering how rich in rarities, art and culture it is
