I had a 5 stars review and this was one of my fav cafes in Rotterdam. I had a little ritual of mine to take a nice hour of cosy book reading and a coffee and lunch. Today they told me I could not read from my tablet because now the place is “computer free” and basically showed me the exit saying I could go read in a coworking space. Note: I was not working there, just arrived, reading an e-book and I was not like hanging alone occupying a table for 4 hours. I’m very disappointed, and I find very shortsighted to send away a customer by having rigid rules like that. I think the most important element in a cafe is being cosy and welcoming, that’s why I go to a cafe to read my book. If I would run a place like this I’d rather ask the customer to order every x amount of time or something else but I would not kick out a returning customer for no reason. I’ll not return again. Really a shame.

Loved their kopi soesoe!! If you’re not a fan of a sweet coffee make sure to ask for less condensed milk. Cake was okay, a bit too sweet to my liking (I tried the lemon meringue). The atmosphere is very coze with nice music playing.

That kopi susu was amazing! The place was so cozy, even though it was freezing outside. Plus, it's in a really up-and-coming area. I met the owner, Cordeli – such a cool, ambitious woman! She's third-generation Indo and tries to connect with the community through her food.

I found this cafe by accident when looking for somewhere else, without doubt the best accident I’ve ever had. The home made cheesecake and olive bread were AMAZING, and the ginger tea was fantastic too. Great vibe, great music, and great price, the only thing better were the staff, super friendly and helpful… 5 stars all the way, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Kopi Soesoe in Katendrecht is such a chill place. The coffee menu takes inspiration from Indonesia (Kopi Soesoe = coffee with milk), and there’s something for every coffee lover. I tried the Koenjit Soesoe: think chai latte, but turmeric-based. Not as sweet as chai, but unique and tasty. The riddle on the menu adds a quirky twist—guess it right, and you win (spoiler alert) a packet of instant noodles (yes, really). Pair that with their out-of-this-world chocolate cake, and you’ve got a perfect experience. A fun, creative spot that’s definitely worth a visit!

The loveliest cafe bar in this trendy part of Rotterdam. Sat on the outside terrace and was personally greeted by the owners. Fantastic healthy breakfast porridge oats with a twist including fresh berries and fruits. The menu offer is not your usual cafe fare, all well considered, tasty and healthy. The latte coffee was spot on. Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
