We had a nice dinner at ‚Kopps‘! The restaurant offers a 3 to 7 course vegan menu and can be accompanied with a wine or alcohol free pairing. The food was very delicious, freshly made and all dishes were prepared in a creative manner and in a surprising composition! The plates were lovely decorated. For this price class one would expect a better service. The restaurant has a great interior design.

This one has the best looking staffers I’ve Ever seen in a restaurant setting they all look like models. The drinks were so unique and so eclectic I haven’t had anything like that since TomTom in West Los Angeles. For the food Its a seven course dining experience which I had to say it was above and beyond my expectations. You can also pair that with drinks. The restaurant has a unique style it’s very laid-back it’s medium quiet and the staff were very attentive. We visited on a weeknight which I have to say it was fairly consistently busy. I would say this upscale place is great for couples dining date night special occasions or just foodies who wanna have a great dining experience. Keep up the good work and soon you’ll probably be a star.

The stuff is awesome, nice, friendly and funny. You could be spontaneous, if needed. They explain every dish and the corresponding drinks. Nearly the whole team is involved bringing you the ordered courses. You can chooses between 3 to 7 courses. Starter, Soup, main course, predessert, dessert and a finishing course. Suitable alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks are served on demand. Sometimes you’ll also get an eatable greeting from the kitchen stuff. The courses are changing from season and depend on regional availability. Even the food is not cheap, it’s worth every cent or penny and decent delicious.

Google
This is by far the BEST vegan restaurant I've been to in Berlin. It was my second time here with my husband and we even brought our vegetarian and meat-eater friends and they loved it. We enjoyed the 6 and 5 course menu and were so full by the end of it. Every dish has its own unique flavour and the alcohol menu attached to the dishes is amazing as well. Both of our experiences were great, in terms of food and amazing service. Will definitely come back!

Google
Food is excellent , wine fantastic, service OK, interior very nice. On the expensive side BUT the lunch menu starts from 20€ and is just as good even better! Its worth every penny and for that person looking for a fine dining experience. I recommend at least 4 course with wine matching. Go there to impress the most discerning vegan fine diner.

Google
Vegan fine-dining with several small/medium sized courses. Optional: drinks pairing menu completes the experience, but isn’t absolutely necessary (for budget-saving).

Google
Fantastic dinner and wonderful staff. Excellent meal, tasty and good service. We went for the 7 courses (with wine pairing). It’s a bit pricy but worth it!

Absolutely amazing! This is simply one of the best restaurants I've ever been too. The food is fantastic, awesome flavors which are fresh and vibrant but also food which is comforting. The wine list is extensive and the waiter was able to help us chose wine to compliment our meal choices. Furthermore the service was excellent, on time yet not hovering over us to rush us. All in all a fantastic place! Definitely recommended.

Yelp
Kopps is German vegetarian fine dining at its best. Specific I know but even if you're not anti-meat it's good enough to warrant a visit in the sprawling culinary wonderfullness that is Berlin. The long and short of it: 1. Menu: The menu changes regularly which is always nice. Dinner is a set menu.... kind of. You can opt into or out of any dish you like by going with a 3 course instead of a full menu, or just picking items a la carte. My top bill goes to the Chantrelle Mushrooms and Cabbage dish, but everything was good. The portions were a bit small.... but that's fine dining. 2. Drinks: There was a wine pairing that was offered with the set course dinner, but we opted to have the waiter recommend a few glasses of European reds instead, and I'm happy we did. Everything was delicious and well paired (also cheaper). 3. Price: Kopps is expensive no doubt, for dinner at least. I hear their brunch is less expensive but I was fine with shelling out top dollar for the meal that we got to experience. 4. Atmosphere: Classy but not snooty. You could tell you were in a fine dining scenario, but it didn't make you feel uncomfortable or like you were under dressed in jeans. 5. Service: The aspect that put the whole experience over the top was the spot on service we had for our meal. The server was attentive but not overbearing, and was easy to flag dow if we had a question (we had plenty). Always a plus. I get to say that I'd be back to Kopps, mainly because I'm not sure I'll be back in Berlin anytime soon, but our experience was good enough to warrant the price especially for a special occasion or vacation dinner. A must for vegetarians!!! Overall Grade: A

Yelp
This is the best brunch buffet I have ever been to. There was such a variety of food: salads, little cake and brownie slices, kohlrabi-walnut soup, hot vegan scrambled eggs, amazing quiches (!!!), chili sin carne, deliciously crispy mini pancakes and hot compote, strawberry polenta (so good!!!), orange chia pudding, vanilla-lavender chia pudding, yoghurts, amazing overnight oats, little glass jars of thick mousses, various dips, toppings like nuts and dried fruit, the best warm bread rolls and pretzels, vegan charcuterie and cheeses. Wow, I died. I'm really not the kind of person that starves themselves to go to a buffet and binges on twenty plates, so I was pretty surprised at myself when I just couldn't help but keep eating and trying EVERYTHING. It was all so fresh and perfectly seasoned and tasty. I went through seven plates... Service was great, too. Sure, initially I had to wait a while to get a table because the girl seating guests was on the phone having a slow conversation and wouldn't look me in the eye, which was rude, but the waiter that I ended up getting was incredibly polite, friendly, and whisked my plates away regularly so that I didn't have to stare down an ever-increasing pile of dishes. Beautiful location (little park across the street so you can walk it off afterwards) too, light-filled rooms, classy decor. I'm definitely returning.

Yelp
We reserved a table during Easter. You can choose between a fixed menu(with different entries (3/4/5/6) with selected wine or without. There is also menu "á la carte". We choose 5 entries with an amazing glass of white wine, Sauvignon Fumè. All the dishes were extremely good and very good looking, every details is important in those dishes. Staff very friendly and nice, they also speak a very good english. It was a very interesting dinner with a nice environment.

Yelp
Was visiting my daughter who was on study abroad and she is a vegan. Kopps was perfect, for her, and I liked it ok as well until the bill came. Ouch, with the US dollar at near all time high, it was much more expensive than I thought. My daughter tells me meat is expensive, I have the receipt to prove otherwise. Very creative and interesting food, glad we went inside.

Yelp
Vegan chorizo and deli slices - Yum! Ya, I was pretty skeptical too when I came for the vegan brunch buffet. And after a few plates of salad, spreads and some hot food... well, I'm surprised that none of it came from an animal. The cheese, deli slices, and scrambled "eggs" were the most interesting of the b(r)unch. The eggs and cheese you really couldn't tell were vegan, and the deli "meat" was interesting to say the least - you'd think it was just slightly funny textured deli meat if someone didn't tell you. It's 3 hours after my feast and I can say I'm still thoroughly satiated. For 15 euro it's a great deal. Give it a try, if you don't like it... well, I'm sure there's a currywrvst place around the corner.

Yelp
Today is my birthday, and to celebrate, the boyfriend took me out to dinner at Kopps. This is a relatively new vegan restaurant and bar located in Mitte, which opened in September of last year. Under the direction of head chef Björn Moschinski, the restaurant churns out traditional German dishes with a vegan twist in a classy atmosphere for a moderate price. We arrived and were seated in a few minutes. At 6:45 in the evening, there were only three other tables with diners, although by the time we left - which was after 8 p.m. - the place was packed. Our meals were pretty delicious and the portions were surprisingly filling. I started off with a large house Pilsner, which I sipped on until my red beet strudel came out. It was a good consistency and wonderful flavour. Accompanying the dish was spinach with sesame (perhaps a little too salty), chutney made of salsify (which I'd never before even heard of, but enjoyed), and vegetable garnishes. Meanwhile, my handsome companion ordered the roulade, accompanied by apple red cabbage, and found it to his liking as well. Both of us ended our meal with the apple strudel in vanilla sauce. A few complaints: The service. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't fantastic. Some things took a long time to get to us. When we requested the menus again to look at the dessert options, we were told there were none available (solution: make more menus). Essentially, the busier the restaurant became, the more the service lacked. The seating. When we arrived, the entire restaurant was basically empty. Still, we were seated close to another couple, and immediately after, a four-top was placed next to us. I understand the ideas of sections, as well as the methodology used that fills the restaurant from back to front, but I would have preferred a little more privacy in the form of more space between our table and the diners surrounding us - at least initially. But that might just be my own personal quirk. That aside, I enjoyed my visit and particularly like how the environment is semi-fancy but not off-putting. I definitely would like to come back and try their breakfast and lunch options.

Yelp
Amazing (and all vegan!) experience. We did the 3 course option with the pairing. Beautiful presentation, delicious/complex flavors and exceptional service. Highly recommend!

Steven M.

Yelp
Let me start off by saying I've been here two times and the food is absolutely exceptional. My last visit however was marred by a rather unfriendly waiter who when we walked into a totally empty restaurant at 1800 was extremely brusque when we asked to sit at another table than the one he suggested (by the end of our meal the restaurant was still almost completely empty). Also, the only other people in the restaurant were seated right next to us and they had a dog who proceeded to chew on a stick for most of the meal... Not what I expect in any kind of gourmet or expensive restaurant. (However the same waiter did provide the dog with his own bowl which shows you where we ranked in the scheme of things.). Our waitress however was attentive and professional. So once again absolutely exceptional vegan food but they really need to work on their customer relations and for gods sake, keep the dogs outside the restaurant especially since it's summer. Marked down one star for poor customer experience.

Tina T.

Yelp
Bad service, slightly above average food and exaggerated prices....charged 1€ for a glass of hot water. That used to be the best vegan brunch place. Not anymore. Selection is limited and not very creative. No option for me anymore

David S.

Yelp
Very grown up place. Complex vegan dishes. In that, it is world-class. Vegetarians and vegans- it is a must go-to if you consider yourself a foodie. Warning: any less than 4 dishes and you will probably be hungry so order accordingly. So an appetizer, soup, main course and dessert are the bare minimum. They have tasting menus which we didn't try. Wine menu is excellent for white wines at reasonable prices.

Kajsa R.

Yelp
The food at the brunch was nothing but amazing. It was like the best brunch, but made vegan. There were breads, jams, homemade nutella, spiced margarines, different cheeses and vegan charcuterie, sallads, egg scrambles, pancakes and sooo many desserts. Non-vegans would easily enjoy it too! The reason why I can only give it a 4/5 is because of the staff and the service they provided. They didn't appreciate me as a customer and didn't look at me when we speaked, and they just basically weren't as nice as they should be to someone who is paying for their service.

Jesse T.

Yelp
I've spent the last few years in Los Angeles and New York, and have now tried a number of places in Berlin. Kopps can hang with any of them. We did the seven course tasting with wine pairing. Everything was excellent. The wines, all German, were complex and delicious, and the dessert, which I often find cloying at even some of the top restaurants, was some of the best I'd had anywhere. I highly recommend this place to anyone, vegan or not, looking for a great dining experience.

Rachel K.

Yelp
This was a truly amazing high end vegan meal. The multi course menu with wine pairing is a deal for how high-quality this is -- fresh, locally sourced and not overly seasoned. This is some of the best vegan fine dining I've had in the world!

Maile H.

Yelp
The restaurants interior is beautiful, and the welcome was friendly. I would say 5 stars but the service left a lot to be desired. We waited a long time to order, we're not checked on during the meal, and had to ask for the check at the end. The food, on the other hand was spectacular! I loved every bite of the pasta that was the specialty that day. Edible flowers, incredibly deep flavors, and rich taste! I would come back for the food and give them a second chance on service.

Joshua R.

Yelp
The Sunday brunch at Kopps was magnificent. From the deli board to the fruit and yogurt selection to the cold dishes to the hot dishes, there was SO MUCH to choose from! Best of all, everything was vegan. The food was delicious and the price was also very reasonable (around $15). My only gripe is that none of the dishes were labelled in English, so I didn't really know what I was eating. If you're in the area and have some time on a Saturday or Sunday, check out Kopps for brunch. Consider making a reservation ahead of time.

Moppi X.

Yelp
This place is nothing but the real deal. Went for Sunday brunch (13,50 Euros excl. any drinks) for the second time this past weekend and I am still surprised how I could not find myself wanting to move to Berlin immediately after trying Kopps for the first time. All their food is so fresh and tasty, even their Hummus is just right on point. Everything is vegan and overall (besides pancakes and desserts/sweets probably) pretty healthy. You think it´s just red cabbage? It´s not! Try their turn on it. A twist of cinnamon and clove - Christmas here we come. They have the nicest and very proffesional staff, even though I found a snail shell in their seaweed salad which is clearly a no-go (especially at a vegan resturant...) - the lady was very polite and understanding and let the kitchen know right away. Their ruccola-lemon-lemonade was to die for. So were the stuffed red peppers. Pretty much everything from the buffet you NEED to try. No excuses. I remember their rolls and bread being baked in house the last time - while it was just better bakery items this time. But with a buffet like theirs - you don´t want any tummy space to be taken by lousy bread, rice or potatoes. DELICIOUS!!!! Great (but pricey...) coffee, too!

B K.

Yelp
Vegan buffet, Gluten as well. I could turn vegan now because of the wonderful food. The music was pretty terrible, lots of pop music. Was like high school reunion music for people over 30 who always had bad taste in music. Crazy how some people don't understand how the atmosphere can make or break a place.

Jhenn S.

Yelp
I eat here every time I go to Berlin. I recommend everyone who visits to check it out. Having heard great reviews, we went over for Sunday brunch only to be greeted by staff that became even ruder when we didn't have a reservation. (Having just learned about Kopps and not knowing the culture of German brunch I feel is a good excuse.) They gave a reservation for a couple hours later so we had a wander around. When we returned, we were still treated poorly, despite having a reservation. And then the chef came out. He was so nice, took us to our table personally (much to the chagrin of the front of house) and melted all of our foreign fears away. Once he left however, we were never spoken to again by the staff and had to get water ourselves by asking at the bar. But on to the main bit: The Food! Vegan, traditional German food I wanted, and they delivered! A magnificent spread of all sorts of homemade food. Breads, jams, dips, creamy potato salads, "meat" boards, soup, so much more... I was surprised to see it was very heavy in replacement products; fake meat, fake mayo, fake egg, etc. I love that stuff, but I know many people who aren't. I think I went to the buffet 5 times. It was spectacular. I also went back for a normal lunch with the omnivorous hubby, and he declared it "was the best meal I've had in a long time." He had the lunch special, which that day was fresh tomato soup, spaghetti, and wild green salad. I had the walnut and mushroom ravioli which were out of this world!!! The staff were a bit nicer, and respectfully spoke slower German to us rather than eye-rolling and reverting to English. Positives: FANTASTIC FOOD The price is right Great ambiance Casual for lunch but nice enough for a date The chef CARES! Negative: staff doesn't seem to care that much The chocolate cake dessert is so disappointing, I didn't finish it (even with two peoples help) Summary: Don't forget to RSVP! YUM!

Gretchen S.

Yelp
This is another spot where you should probably have a reservation, but we've lucked out and snagged the last table for two by walking in at an off-hour. The waitstaff has always been friendly, despite our lack of reservations and my lack of German language know-how. The food is very interesting here and you'll always try something you'd never make at home. I tried the gnocchi this time and while the boyfriend said it needed an additional sauce, I thought the almond flavor and tomato foam were enough to make it tasty. Alas, because it's a vegan restaurant, boyfriend says he misses the meat here. He wasn't saying that when he ordered the chocolate lava cake, however. :) Save room for dessert and try that!

Paolo S.

Yelp
Very good vegan resturant. I'm a vegetarian and my partner is mostly vegan, so I've tried plenty of vegan food, and several vegan restaurants over the world. This place scores pretty high on my list, though not quite at the very top. Our best dishes were a heirloom tomatoes and avocado cream appetizer and a lupini wellignton main. Both were interesting, creative, and very well executed. Other dishes we had were a tomato, bread, and feta salad, and a truffle-flavored roasted potato. These were good, but I thought they could have been more flavorful. We finished with a selection of cheeses, obviously vegan, most of which were really good. The wine was excellent and fairly priced for this kind of restaurant, and the service, although a bit slow, pretty good. Overall, definitely a recommendation if you're interested in vegan food and you're not exactly on a budget. It also makes for a good introduction to vegan food if you're new to it.

Anami N.

Yelp
This place is amazing. I ordered burgers with wedges and salad and my friend had a quiche with salad. Both dishes were absolutely fabulous. The burger was succulent, rich and didn't feel greasy or unhealthy while satisfying that i-need-a-burger-and-fries feeling. The interior is nice and you can sit ouside (that's what we did). The street corner is lively but not noisy.

Chris R.

Yelp
It's great to see a vegan restaurant that doesn't go all trashy (Berlin has a lot of those, they are great as well, but) it's nice to see something more creative and "luxury". I had a high expectation on this place and it's fancy and the food is great. It's pricy for Berlin, but food-wise it's totally worth it. It's well presented, creatively made and every bite is an experience. And for you wine lovers out there, they have a great selection. What really bothered me when I was there was the service. They are well dressed and are moving smooth but it's horribly bad organized. Last time I had to wait 20 minutes in the bar for my reserved (!) table. While at the table another 20 minutes for someone to even notice me/us, and the restaurant was half empty at the time. You also get served by many different people which gives the place a kind of "sloppy" and/or impersonal flare. Despite the bad service, this is a good place if you want experience something delicious and want to spend the whole evening just chatting and enjoying good wine.

Roy H.

Yelp
I am a carnivore and went here with my vegetarian wife. However, hands down I can say this was one of the best dinners I have ever had. We had the 5 course tasting menu and each course was more amazing then the one before. Not only were the dishes beautifully arranged, but the mix of flavors and textures was superb. I did not believe you could make dishes like this with just vegetables.

Miguel A.

Yelp
Kopps is an amazing vegan restaurant. I've been to many vegan restaurants over the last 3.5 years of choosing to be vegan, and THIS is the best overall restaurant experience I've ever had regardless of being vegan. Kopps has a great atmosphere, it's very classy but you don't have to dress up, a great semi-casual date spot. The food is AMAZING. The server Daniel there was extremely helpful and friendly with recommendations and the food completely defies expectations with it's creativity, presentation and wonderful taste. If you could only pick one restaurant to go to in your entire Berlin experience, go to Kopps. You won't regret it, and get the dessert sampler, it's out of this world.

Johannes S.

Yelp
Let me preface this review by saying that I used to be a huge fan of Kopps and that I still am a fan. I have come back here for dinner 3-4 times and I also love their weekend brunch buffet. My wife and I even hosted the brunch after our wedding reception here in October 2018. That said I was pretty disappointed recently to see that they now have adopted a cash only policy for the brunch, arguing that the 'fees are too high'. Well, what are thousands of other restaurants that accept card payments doing? It's 2019, millenials will expect to be able to pay with cards. International guests are for sure going to be weirded out by this. You go to one of the best and most expensive vegan restaurants in Berlin and are asked to go find a Euronet ATM (that charges you €2.95 extra) and get cash first because management is to cheap to buy a sum up POS for €30. I know that this kind of policy is a thing in Berlin and a lot of places do it but that doesn't make it any less dumb or annoying. I certainly didn't expect it from Kopps! The good news is that after some arguing I was allowed to pay with debit card since my bill was over €50 (I got lucky there!) It was an unpleasant experience, I'd rather just enjoy my breakfast/brunch without worrying about having to carry enough cash.

Mikey S.

Yelp
The food was delicious. The dishes, clearly prepared thoughtfully and with experience, featured unique tastes. The environment is fancier than I had expected. It's cool and nice without being too hip to the point of being uncomfortable. After having been told over the phone they were full, we decided to try our luck anyway and just show up at the restaurant with a group of four. They ended up seating us right away, which was nice. The service was extremely drawn out. What could have otherwise been a 50 minute meal seemed to last about two hours. Bottom line, if you're a vegan, or looking to eat vegan, have some money and some time, this is a place to check out!

sarah s.

Yelp
This place blew my mind. The food was incredibly fresh and inventive, the service was super friendly, and it's a lovely environment to share a good conversation.

Jessine H.

Yelp
-Food: Overall very delicious, exciting combinations, well crafted, beautiful arrangements on the plate. Experimental. They have great bread which I'd recommend to order on the side. -Service: Super polite and sweet -Atmosphere: cosy, cool, good light, music wasn't my thing kind of lounge... Loved the 2 amuse-bouches! One in the beginning AND a sweet one afterwards. Really tasty! I would recommend to reserve a table, unless you're going alone and like sitting in a spot at the bar (which is my favorite thing to do)

ThatGuyE S.

Yelp
The food was actually really good: I had a tomato broth soup with an avocado ravioli in it to start. The soup was delicious and the avocado ravioli was a very creative addition. Thumbs up on the soup. My main course was the Gnocci and that was pretty darn good. Not the best I've had because the sauce was very rich. My complaint about the food was that after two courses, I was still starving. The portions were very, very small. I had to order a basket of bread (for which they charged me) just to make sure I wasn't going home hungry. Also, we sat at the bar and despite being 3 feet from the bartender couldn't get served drinks easily. It was a bit frustrating. He wasn't even attentive enough to fill our tiny water glasses up after we would drink them down.

S. R.

Yelp
Best restaurant in Berlin! Even non-Vegans like my husband and sons loved the place. They ate every morsel on the plates. Service was top notch and they pampered us from start to finish. The dessert was amazing (tried both the Lava cake and the berry meringue). Love this place. It was one of the best meals I have had!

Chris D.

Yelp
Kopps does an all-you-can-eat vegan brunch at lunchtimes on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. This is the only option available at these times and costs 12 euros 50 (August 2014) which works out cheap if you have several courses. Kids pay according to their age (6 year olds pay 6 euros etc) You can choose from bread/rolls with vegan cheese/ham/sausage or vegan butter/jam, lots of salad options, soup, pancakes, vegan scrambled 'egg', hot dishes like curry and pasta, various fruit salads and one or two cake options. Drinks and coffee are extra. Quality is good, but not high-end like their regular menu.

Bite M.

Yelp
If I could give 4.5 I would - Absolutely a stand out menu with creative innovative and most importantly to me , DELICIOUS vegan food. During world cup madness in Berlin it was a really low key oasis for an hour or two. Menu is really interesting and the wait staff are excited to tell you about it in English if need be- Im not big on desert but everything me and my buddy ate was so good that we had to try it- no fails here. Nice for a date you know your gonna like! or even a special occasion Service and presentation reflects the care they have for their food- as do the prices. Makes for a perfectly lovely evening- - If you dont have a reservation go early! People like to sit and enjoy their food- for great reasons!

Avanti N.

Yelp
The food and ambiance here are great. Everything is vegan and the flavors are real fresh. We went for the Sunday brunch buffet. It is a popular place and the wait staff are helpful and good. Highly recommend.

Leela S.

Yelp
Pricey , but I had a delicious and incredibly inventive vegan dinner here with a friend , complete with a delicious cake. Great ambience as well, although I made a reservation and was seated at the communal table, which I thought was not very professional

R. Howard S.

Yelp
Dinner at Kopps was delicious, and the fine dining aspect was something I love experiencing with vegan cuisine. Interestingly enough, the most notable part of the meal was the "egg" salad, which somehow has the flavor and consistency of a delicious egg salad but was obviously completely vegan. I'm typically not into fake versions of meat or dairy dishes, but this was quite delicious. There is a great selection of appetizers and meals, though my stinging nettles soup was a little bland. The service was slow, but since I was on vacation it didn't bother me too much. Overall the meal was really good and I'd definitely go back so long as I'm not in a rush.

Mathilde G.

Yelp
Vegan brunch was out of this world. Simply amazing! The only bad thing? We ate too much, but couldn't help our selves. Go go go

Ato B.

Yelp
The Sunday brunch is amazing and its pricing is quite reasonable for the quality. All food is very tasty and the main problem you will have would be trying to decide among all the great available vegan options. This restaurant is quite popular among locals and tourists so make sure to make reservations.

Daniel M.

Yelp
Kopps is trying to do vegan cuisine "schicki micki" (Yuppie) style -- a cool interior design, a wide-ranging mix of dishes (from Maki rolls to "Alt-Berliner Schmorgurken"), and the chef(s) pay a great deal of attention to the food's presentation, which is admittedly excellent. Most of what we ordered was very good -- the Maki roll appetizer was a bit bland for our tastes (and at 8.50 EUR at least 2 EUR too expensive) , but the Beluga Lentil Risotto (12.50 EUR) and homemade Maultaschen (12.90 EUR) -- both with fresh Pfifferlinge -- were very tasty. I would definitely go back. We went here at the end of August 2012 for dinner on a Tuesday night, and it was no problem to get a seat -- only three or four other tables were taken. For the price segment that this restaurant is shooting for, I would agree that the service needs to be better... but if you live in Berlin, this kind of service is pretty typical, unfortunately.

Joseph C.

Yelp
We had probably one of the worst dining experiences in our lives at this place, sadly. The place was practically empty yet they told us we had to sit outside, which wasn't a big deal. But the 2 bees that were harassing us were a big deal. We asked the waiter if we could move inside and he literally laughed at us and said "the bees seem to be hungry too". The food was very bland, especially the cheese. For 18 euros a person, it wasn't badly priced but the experience was horrible. I would definitely avoid this place. If you want really good tasting vegan food (and you're a traveler) go to NYC, Portland Oregon or Amsterdam.

Eli B.

Yelp
I've only had the breakfast/brunch, but it is indeed fantastic. Expensive for Berlin, but worth it.

Rock A.

Yelp
This place was a HUGE disappointment. I was looking forward to our xmas dinner at Kopps for days, and was shocked by the terrible experience we had there. It doesn't even deserve one star. What went wrong? 1. As soon as we walked into the almost empty restaurant, we were seated at a group table directly next to another couple. When I asked for a private table (of which there were PLENTY) I was told that they we already reserved. I reminded them that I had reserved a table as well, and preferred not to sit with other guests, but still, my wishes were not accommodated, and no regrets were expressed. And best of all, several tables remained unoccupied from start to finish of our two hour meal. I should have left at this point, but since it was xmas, I thought I would try to let it go and hope the rest of the evening would go better. 2. The drinks situation: we were offered water and then charged 4.50 EUR for the carafe. They could have mentioned that. The cocktails were tiny. And they serve wine by the half glass for the price of a full glass. All very sad attempts to make a few extra euros... 3. The food was beyond forgettable. I have been consistently impressed by the incredible vegan food available in this city, but Kopps is the absolute opposite. Our appetizers were tasteless and tiny, and our main dishes arrived only about 10 minutes after ordering. Clearly prepared well ahead of time and reheated, and certainly not worth the 16.50 EUR we paid for them. I could have gotten a similar fake meat product from Kaiser's and made it myself (even better) for about 12 EUR less. 4. The service was terrible. Maybe its just not a good idea to go out on a holiday? Maybe it was just an off night.? Either way, there is absolutely no way I would waste my money in this place again. There are MUCH better vegan options in Berlin. Please, do yourself a favor and if you want some high quality vegan german cooking, go to Viasko or Vaust instead. You will be very glad you did.

Yelp
Horrendous service. The server broke a glass on my lap. Then broke a plate on the table. Then barely apologized. Stay away - but if you go, watch out for glass shards.

Yelp
Great interior, friendly staff, fair pricing, but the food was too complex, too much of everything. I will come back and hope the will keep it simple and delicious.

Yelp
A great place to be. they put quite the high benchmark on themselves and try to raise the bar every time. The staff is - much unlike Berlin Mitte - courteous and helps you find the perfect vegan meal for your taste. btw, they don't try to imitate common food tastes but rather create a stand alone kitchen in its own style. Much recommend!

Yelp
Kopps is amazing. Try the algea salad. Never before had I liked vegan food so much! Really nice staff that speaks english perfectly.

Yelp
A superb restaurant! The chef is completely amazing! He really nails the flavor and textures of the dishes he prepares! A wonderful experience and we will definitely be going back to this spot! I only wish they had more raw vegan things on the menu, although something tells me if one were to call ahead they may make arrangements for that, being that he is a phenomenal chef- a rare thing to find in the vegan word. I just saw the pics of the buffet and I am in aww! I believe that we will be going there next weekend for a special treat! ;)

Yelp
We ate dinner there last night and it was wonderful. When I called to make the reservation in the afternoon, I found the man on the other end quite rude- and then it turns out they lost our reservation but very luckily we were able to be seated. But the evening staff were super. It was so refreshing to be in a place where people are friendly towards you, this rarely happens in Berlin Restaurants. The service was fantastic- never did we need anything or want anything that they hadn't already thought of. The food was marvellous and the prices were very fair. The wine was great, the atmosphere was great- the techno/loungey music wasn't in our taste- but we had a wonderful evening and we can't recommend it enough.

Yelp
A bright star in the sometimes dim food world of Berlin.
