KOPSTER Hotel Lyon Groupama Stadium

Just had a really nice time at KOPSTER Hotel. The place felt super clean, and the decor is really cool and modern.Everyone on the staff was incredibly friendly. The breakfast was seriously good, with tons of different options to choose from! Definitely a spot I'd recommend.

Short: I wouldn’t stay here again. Longer: the hotel is situated at the stadium and the arena. So if you’re there for an event and you want to be walking distance from the venue then this is your spot. The hotel has all the merch for sale and it’s clear that they’re going for a boutique kinda vibe. However, it is pretty bare bones in the sense that there is nothing around you. The breakfast is decent, the bar is pretty decent as well in terms of hotel bars, the staff is friendly, just not very attentive. The bed is very soft, so if you’re like me, someone who prefers a bit more support, you’ll wake up with back pains. This is all very subjective though. My shower drain didn’t drain water fast enough, which meant that I needed to keep my showers under 5 minutes unless I wanted the bathroom to flood. I told the staff about this and they said they would look into it, but for the week I was there, it never changed. The closest grocery store is a Lidl about a 35 minute walk away, so in terms of walking distance, I think there’s one restaurant that’s about 5 minutes away and that’s pretty much it. You’re staying here for the location, and nothing else basically. So here’s how I averaged the stars in my review: Room: 2. WiFi: 3. Staff: 3. Amenities: 2. Location: 2. Gym: N/A. Vibe: 3. Walkability: 1. Average: 2.29, rounding to 2 stars. These reviews are just honest impressions relative to other hotels in the same price range around the world. Not looking to provide additional feedback. Not looking for compensation/rewards.

Nice hotel located right beside Olympic Lyon`s Football stadium, and the LDLC, arena, concert venue. The rooms are a good size and the beds are quite comfortable. Would recommend their pizzas for a bite to eat The included breakfast was of good quality too. The staff are really friendly and helpful.. I would definitely go to Lyon and stay at this hotel again.

The location of the hotel is great, the cleanliness of the room could be improved (some spots on the floor). Beside the price of parking changes based on events in the city. Commercial gesture and understanding from the management could also be improved, notably regarding the way to address to customers. The restaurant waiters are however very kind and professional.

Great hotel and i was impressed by food in the restaurant very good you do not have to go out to eat you have all around you in the hotel. I liked patio as well as you can smoke sitting on the tarase but covered so whatever rain or cold you can still enjoy your wine or smoke cigarettes with friends - I was there for a training with my company so the rooms are well organized for business events

Stayed for 3 nights in the Kopster Hotel for 3 nights during a business trip in January. Really good hotel with great atmosphere and friendly personnel. Especially Thylane at the reception was really helpful and friendly. Will come back at the next trip to Lyon!

we stayed here during the coldplay concert and the service was just incredible. they left us goodies and a coldplay pouch which was very sweet. the food was a 10/10 (highly recommend their pizza at the bar). the rooms were comfortable and the location is prime! the staff were all warm and very hospitable. overall a great hotel!
