I stayed in Ipanema for about 5 nights and for 3 of those nights my friends and I could not get enough of this place.
We ordered the bread with butter as an entree and what a nice surprise the butter had a hint of lemon to it and the bread was so soft it fell apart to the slightest touch.
We then had the pasta with the red sauce which was absolutely DELICIOUS!! The sauce was so good I had practically licked the plate clean!!
We had to try dessert (personally don’t have a sweet tooth) but to my surprise the dessert had man layers and with every bite it was bursting with a unique and delectable flavour!
If I am to ever come back to Rio I’ll be running back to Koral. My friends and I are so glad we stumbled across this gem. Oh and not to forget the service is lovely!

The food was amazing here, it would be difficult to fault it. The short menu was a great sign to begin with. Claudemir was exceptionally attentive and gave some superb recommendations. We ordered a bottle if wine too and it was fantastic. Highly recommend visiting thus place!

Apologize to say that food is not good especially steak. Steak is the worst steak I ever ate. It is full of fat and chewy for cost 96 reais. My bad that I didn't ask what kind of beef before ordering, restuarant said "Acem" or chuck.
About polvo (octopus), taste is ok but it was cold like just came out of refrigerator.

I recommend Tuna tartare. All the duplas. Steak tartar and Ravioli.
Desserts also worth trying.

First time here and Wow! The steak tarter is different and amazing. I just love that my old favorite dish has an interesting taste twist. We loved it all! Can’t wait to come back!

Sorry to say but wasn’t worth the cut…wish them the very best for the future… service was decent & atmosphere but the food & wine didn’t justify it for us…other clients looked happy though! Wish then the best for the future.
