Koral Restaurante

The food is out of this world, so good we had to ask the chef to come to the table to express our gratitude. Thank you, Pedro. He isn't only dedicated to making delicious food but also the experiece. Such a pleasant place with amazing service. The dishes to highlight: octopus with vinaigrette, corn cacio de pepe, 12 hr short rib and tres leches. The octopus was so fresh, short rib perfect tender paired with savory creamy onion risotto and have never had such dense, coconuty, delectable tres leches like that.

I stayed in Ipanema for about 5 nights and for 3 of those nights my friends and I could not get enough of this place. We ordered the bread with butter as an entree and what a nice surprise the butter had a hint of lemon to it and the bread was so soft it fell apart to the slightest touch. We then had the pasta with the red sauce which was absolutely DELICIOUS!! The sauce was so good I had practically licked the plate clean!! We had to try dessert (personally don’t have a sweet tooth) but to my surprise the dessert had man layers and with every bite it was bursting with a unique and delectable flavour! If I am to ever come back to Rio I’ll be running back to Koral. My friends and I are so glad we stumbled across this gem. Oh and not to forget the service is lovely!

Fantastic experience accompanied by great and original food. The menu offers classic seafood dishes and traditional pasta with a twist. The open kitchen shows everything is made fresh. The flavors were incredible, and I had one of the best steak tartares in my life. Our waiter, Leonardo, was excellent, helping out with questions and allergies. The atmosphere is light, and even though it's an open kitchen, there is no smell or noise. Highly recommend Koral!

The food was amazing here, it would be difficult to fault it. The short menu was a great sign to begin with. Claudemir was exceptionally attentive and gave some superb recommendations. We ordered a bottle if wine too and it was fantastic. Highly recommend visiting thus place!

Apologize to say that food is not good especially steak. Steak is the worst steak I ever ate. It is full of fat and chewy for cost 96 reais. My bad that I didn't ask what kind of beef before ordering, restuarant said "Acem" or chuck. About polvo (octopus), taste is ok but it was cold like just came out of refrigerator.

My favorite restaurant in LEBLON. As a French, living in Rio, it’s quite hard to fine a proper fine dining. Here -all Is perfect. Wine list- great job! I recommend Tuna tartare. All the duplas. Steak tartar and Ravioli. Desserts also worth trying.

Amazing experience! Food was impeccable! If you come here I would highly recommend to order the “polvo na brasa” and the “vieiras grelhadas” 10/10!!!

One of the best reastaurant in Ipanema area.. The service and flavors are just wonderful ✌🏼❤
