Nice mood. food is just okay. If you want great Korean food, There are lots of better places you could visit. Location is not ideal. Hanok is not that traditional compare to the real hanok.

₩25,000 Summer Dessert Course Korea House Kohojae Chungmuro Station Exit 3 I made reservations online. I think I was the only one who came alone, so they let me choose which table I like- facing the courtyard or the trees, which was cooler (in temp). I chose the bright courtyard. We sat on the elevated floor, shoes off. There's a tissue box on the side. There was a traditional dance presentation before our food was served. Staff explained each part of the course, and also the tea which was only used for royals (in the old days). I loove the desserts! Each one was tiny, just enough to taste, I wondered whether I could order another one. I finished them all 😁 and they went perfectly with the tea. /travelspeedx

This was an unforgettable experience! I was so delighted by the performance and all the creative desserts. My favorite was the 떡카롱, their take on a macaron but made with 떡. Their menu seems to change every seasons and I’m already looking forward to coming back to try a different season!

Traditional Tea Ceremony. The cultural dance by one lady was impressive. After the 5 min dance, tea and delicious sweets were served. You can choose between real chairs and sitting on the flat ground.

If you want to try traditional Korean food in a distinguished setting, go here. Be prepared, though, that some of the traditional Korean food may be difficult to approach if you are not an adventurous and open-minded eater. The food is delicately made and the service is impeccable. To get there, go straight up the hill and enter the traditional house through the set of doors to the right. There will be someone to greet you there. The atmosphere is very nice and it is not unusual to see Koreans in business attire here, so heads up if you're wondering what to wear (but I also saw quite a few in casual clothing so not a big deal, I think). After you are done, you will most likely be escorted out to the front entrance to pay before leaving. I booked my reservation through the CatchTable app without any issues. Good luck and enjoy!

My friend took me here and treated me to traditional Korean tea, and it was quite an experience. The ceremony was really interesting, I’ve never seen anything like it. The deserts were incredibly scrumptious, every single thing tasted great, especially the omija jelly stick. A thoroughly enjoyable and unforgettable experience.

We loved the traditional music, dance, seating, and food. The dancer was phenomenal! She was like one fluid motion, and her expression never changed. The desserts were beautiful. We were allowed to discover the grounds as well, which were equally good. If you want Traditional Korea, this is a great place to be!
