Also called Arirang Korea. One of those hole-in-the-wall restaurants that serves up amazing food.

My back door Korean food place. Food is good especially them tofu stew. I hope they add more variety. I know they mostly old grandma running this resturant so its hard for them to have ideas to appeal to the people. But if they add special dishes it can come out good.

Food was really good. I’m surprised that I’ve always seen this place but never tried it out. The bulgogi was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Very tender and good quality meat. The sides were very well done too. The soup was amazing. The meat in the soup was super tender and everything was well seasoned too. Sadly this restaurant can’t stay consistent with their schedule and is always randomly open or closed. But it looks like they’re temporary closed again for an unknown time. I definitely recommend the food here. It is authentic for sure. Looking forward to their grand re-re-re-re opening someday.

I heard that this restaurant had a reopening since it’s closing a couple years ago. I came to try it out with my girlfriend and see if it’s good still. I wasn’t disappointed in the food! It was tasty and good. Still have to buy your own water bottle or soda. The cool thing was that they allowed a small change to their food menu when I asked for it. My GF doesn’t like pork kimchi Chigae so I asked if they could use beef instead and they agreed. I also wanted spicy pork gugoggi and they were able to accommodate. Really liked that they were flexible and can accommodate to our wants.

1st time here. So far the foods are so good. If you look for more traditional taste of Korean food, you should give it a try. The service is nice. It's an elderly grandpa. He's so sweet. Love the foods! Totally recommended this place.

Excellent food! Great customer service! Easy parking! Comfortable environment! I recommend this place for everyone who crave Korean food. ☺️♥️ I've went here a few times, and wanted to share this awesome place for everyone. Don't hesitate! Try something new, and guarantee it's going to worth it. Update: 03/17/2023 Venmo Payment! No Card Payment. Nice and calm dining.

Arirang is one of THE BEST restaurants I have found so far in the Twin Cities, a hidden gem along West 7th in East Saint Paul. We were greeted warmly upon arrival and seated in a cozy corner spot by the window. The service was polite and speedy, our orders taken accurately and the food arriving soon after. The presentation was superb, artistically arranged and inviting to the pallette. From the first bite to the last, each dish did not disappoint. The taste and texture were perfect, filled with flavor. I would HIGHLY recommend Arirang to anyone looking for an authentic Korean experience here in Saint Paul.

The food was okay. The aesthetics of this restaurant was not very pleasing. The tables were sticky, we arrived right at opening time and they still had old trays of food from the previous day sitting out, there were cases of drinks all over the floor in the front, there were huge cardboard boxes sitting out on some of the dining tables. This place just felt dirty like they don't do much cleaning. It was about $10-$15 per entree. Overall, I would not come back to this restaurant. I'll stick with my usual place I go to in Maplewood.

I love food and I can say, this is an authentic, worth the value and flavor, Korean joint. It's not someplace fancy and upscale, so expect attentiveness. The environment is like your traditional walking, order, grab and eat, set your tray of dishes on the rack and go. The reason for your visit here would be for the flavor and enjoyment of the food.
