Kornat Restaurant

Very nice restaurant, excellent service, the bathroom was fancy and the food was amazing, the risotto was so good everything was very top-notch.

Best food we have had in Zadar. Great service. Wine divine and cold. (Didn’t have to add ice) Great menu. Bread fresh. Amazing bathrooms. A lovely dinner which one could not fault. Great music soundtracks. Highly recommend.

I went here for my birthday dinner with 3 people. The service was great, super friendly and the food was very good. The portions were honest and the price fair. If I ever come back to Zadar, I'll be here. And go to the toilets, even if you don't need, what a beauty.

This is an excellent restaurant. Expect white tablecloths and friendly service. It is on the pricier side of what we spent in our stay in Zadar but not by too much. There is a cozy indoor dining area but if the weather is nice you can enjoy the "outdoor" area that is completely encased with large glass that allows for an excellent view of the harbor and Adriatic Sea. One of the few places you can get scorpion fish in the city that we were able to find which the waiter expertly served to us at tableside. They also have an excellent olive oil from a farm on the island of Ix that still visits me in my dreams. I highly recommend that you try it with fresh homemade bread! I didn't know olive oil could be so good until I tried it at this restaurant. I would return just to eat bread with olive oil alone but I doubt I could resist ordering some classic Croatian dishes along with it. Very nice experience with waiters and owner overall!

Great experience! The restaurant Kornat is very worth visiting if you like beautifuly served food and outstanding service. Starters We ordered a seafood cold plate that was served like a little piece of art, very interesting and tasty variety of seafood with small dots of sauces. Also we had a beef carpaccio that was very good prepared. Mains We ordered a lobster with homemade tagliatelle and pork medallions. Both of these dishes were outstandingly good. But for that high quality restaurant the bread was disappointment, stale and dry. We know Croatia is great with bakeries and local pekarna, so we suggest improving the recipe or change the provider of bread, because for that super quality of food the bread should also keep the level. All in all great restaurant, great experience, perfect service! We definately will come back for more!

This restaurant is at a much higher standard for food, service and ambience. The matradine was fabulous and the waiters go out of their way to help you have a really enjoyable evening. We visited twice and on both occasions the food was delicious and tasty.

The Kornat Restaurant is a lovely, plush, opulent establishment. The food and service are commendable and the prices are not significantly different from many of the other restaurants in the centre of Zadar. The bread basket comes with a lovely pate. It has a fairly large indoor area and also a semi open, covered area with views of the marina, albiet across a road. The ambience is enhanced by a live pianist who plays a few tunes - typically by The Beatles, ABBA and those from the Swing era. In between his performances similar, recorded music is played. Service is very, very pleasant non-intrusive and efficient. Definitely recommended.

This is what and how service should look! This is how food should be served , this is one of my fav restaurants so far. The food was amazing , the staff were so helpful and friendly , well you have to pay for this but don’t think it’s very expensive , no it’s absolutely affordable. If you are in Zadar visit it and enjoy the balance ! Thank you for the great experience
