"The Greek island of Kos is famous for its abundance of Greek and Roman landmarks—Hippocrates’s shady tree has its home here—and you could make a strong case for Kos Aktis being added to the list. Its minimalist décor is a far cry from the fanciful flourishes of temples or forums, but what it lacks in flair, it makes up for in features like floor-to-ceiling bedside windows, and tasty, traditional Greek breakfasts comprising local favorites (try the loukoumades, sticky, honey-covered bits of fried dough, for a true taste of the island)."

We previously visited Kos and whilst staying at a different hotel used to stop here for a drink as the setting is stunning right by the sea and the location in Kos Town very central, surrounded by bars/ restaurants and easy walking distance to the old town, harbour etc. We decided we would stay here for our holiday in June 2024 and it did not disappoint. All rooms have a sea view with spacious balconies. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were of a very good standard, with plenty of choice. We appreciated the Greek breakfast produce that was available, yoghurts, fresh fruits, nuts, seeds, breads, cinnamon drinks, etc. The rooms were very stylish and well designed to focus on the sea view. There is a switch by the window which operated an electronic blind and upon closing the balcony door the air con automatically came on (included and no extra charge) The bathroom has a window allowing you to have a sea view whilst lying in the bath (there was a blind to give privacy if required) The rooms have a safe, a fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, tv, hair dryer and complimentary toiletries. Whilst there isn't a pool, guests swam in the sea and you can use the pool at the sister hotel. Kos Divine. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and will most certainly return for our next stay in Kos Town.

Stayed for a night enroute to Patmos. It's in easy walking distance of the ferry and village. The location couldn't be better. One can lounge on the deck or swim in the sea. And the restaurant and bar surrounding it are open. They made one of the best expresso martinis I have ever had||It was reasonably priced and came with breakfast. Breakfast was ok overall. The pastries were excellent. ||The gym had hand weights and a little cardio equipment but was minimal and very run down.||The hotel room was clean but dated. It came with a balcony overlooking the water, but I was not able to use it because it was on the first floor and when they took the umbrellas down at night it felt like I was right on top of the people at the restaurant below. It was noisy from that as well. Across from my room on the outside were fans and utilities.

This is the second time we've stayed at this beautiful place and yet again it met every expectation in terms of quality and professionalism in a friendly way. The staff cannot do enough for you to make your stay enjoyable. The hotel and rooms are clean, the restaurant has great quality food. A definite 4+ star near the old town and port with great seafront access after a nice meal..we will be back again

We just went for dinner. The outside dining area was fabulous and we got a table right by the sea. The food was delicious but it was so slow we waited about 45 minutes for our starter. Then another 30 minutes for our main course. The staff started clearing up when there were still 3 tables with people eating. It’s worth recommending as it’s so beautiful and if you’re not in a hurry.

the hotel is clean and in a good location. 5 min walk to the center. the swimming pool is not allowed, but you can use the sister hotel's pool 500m away. comprehensive breakfast and good service. the gym room is really small and hot in the summer. it was the only modest one in this hotel. we are really satisfied with the visit and can recommend!

Very quiet, peaceful hotel with fantastic sea views from balcony and terrace. Would have been a 5 star but for a few little gripes. The lack of blackouts curtains in the bedroom meant the room was flooded with light when the sun came up, the sun vanished behind the hotel sun lounge area around 3.30 pm, breakfast was pretty standard hotel fare (although tasty and eaten on a lovely terrace next to the sea) and it was very, very quiet.

Great hotel. Stayed with half board which was different from any other. You actually dine in H20 restaurant which is downstairs and there is menu you choose your food from rather than Swedish style. Food is great. Location right on the sea front, however sun is only on the morning and there are just about 10 or so sunbeds. Parking around is very limited, but as we were at the very beginning of the season, we managed to park within a few minutes walk.

Best hotel in Kos. We come and stay here since 2012. The quality and hospitality never change at alll. All the staff are like family to us. The view of the rooms are fantastic. The breakfast and restaurant of hotel best in town. It is close to everywhere.
