Kos Town has everything to offer. A fabulous harbour surrounded by restaurants serving fresh fish and traditional Greek food and little streets full of shops.
The beach is clean and the water clear. The beach is fronted by beach bars, mostly offering free sun beds, peak season sees some charges for water front spots.
The atmosphere especially at night is relaxed and the harbour is filled with ornate pirate boats.
Something for everyone.

Kos Old Town has an amazing vibe and it’s been beautifully kept by the Kos municipality.
There are a bunch of picturesque places along with lots of history.
Municipality even has free WiFi in some of the public places which is pretty amazing.
Highly recommended when visiting the island.

Quaint streets with plenty of shops for tourists. Some interesting monuments. And if you shop well you can find some great bargains. Fish
resteraunts are plenty, but look up reviews before going. I have recommended one on a previous review.

Kos town is a wonderful blend of ancient Greek and 20th century Italian architecture. An earthquake in 1917 revealed lots of ancient ruins which are well worth a visit! Pretty little side streets are filled with shops for fashion, ornaments, cafés, souvenir shops and the like. Give yourself time to explore properly!

We knew there must be an Old Town but we didn't stumble across it for awhile . Its lovely. Quaint , bustling , busy but nice. Lots of boutiques , jewelers , souvenir shops , cafes restaurants and everything in between. Really lovely atmosphere despite a medium sized cruise ship having just disembarked its guests. Stall holders were friendly and the Bougainvillea all around is wonderful. Really well worth a visit but do it on day one as you will want to go back.

Colourful and felt safe. Amazing food, one of our favourite restaurants was mom's kitchen. Zorbas was a feast for the belly and the eyes also but make sure you call for a reservation. Yamas!
