Two completely different experiences. First room we exchanged due to potential noise & second room was overlooking a derelict house in a side street & not a harbour view as requested. We felt the staff were not very sympathetic towards us & we’re not looking forward to returning. The second visit was so very different, we were greeted by a lovely smiling face & given the most amazing room overlooking the harbour, which we had booked for both visits. Nothing was too much trouble. We asked for extra pillows & for new towels as somehow the previous customers used towels had been left in the bathroom - not very pleasant. We were very surprised when the same man from reception delivered them to our room & apologised. He appeared to be on his own & working very hard. Breakfast on both visits was excellent. The hotel is quite large & well placed to walk to the harbour, old town & nearby bars, tavernas & shops. There is a lovely relaxing roof terrace with snack bar & gorgeous views of the harbour & Turkey. There is also a small pool & sunbed area. When we left the same man was on reception so I went & personally thanked him, so hardworking & accommodating. If we could guarantee a stay as good as our second one we would definitely return.

This hotel is in a great location, close to the town, various restaurants and next to the marina. Excellent facilities, lovely and welcoming staff. A good selection of food for breakfast and drinks at the bar. Absolutely loved our stay here.||I’d like to make a special mention for Maria and Joel, who were fantastic for the whole duration of our stay. Panos was also great in helping with various queries and to get us a much later check out in our room due to a late evening flight. Would absolutely stay again and would fully recommend it to anybody visiting!

This is a large hotel situated on the edge of Kos harbour. We arrived by ferry early and were able to wait in a comfortable lounge area until our room was ready. Our room was overlooking the harbour and was well equiped with everything we needed including a comfortable bed. There is a nice rooftop pool and snack bar. Breakfast is served in the restaurant but no other meals served here, however there are a wide range of restaurants nearby within walking distance. The bar has both indoor and outdoor seating where you can watch the world go by. The ferry departure area is just across the road. Altogether a very pleasant hotel to stay at.

This was my second stay at Kosta Palace and my third one’s already booked! |This hotel is spotless and all the staff are wonderful - and patient. |My single ‘room’ in fact had two adjoining singles and a third on the upper floor of what was like a mini apartment. Lovely bathroom, fridge, big wardrobe, sofa and balcony downstairs and up a spiral staircase to the large sleeping area. ||There was aircon on both floors. ||Try and get breakfast included if you like an endless buffet of Greek pastries, cakes and puddings plus fruit, breads cheeses, yoghurt as well as fry-up fare if you’re that way inclined. ||And, of course, the location is spectacular on the harbour overlooking the town, bang central to that and the beach bars.

I can’t say enough about Kosta Place City Hotel. The hotel was in a perfect location and the staff were very friendly, nice and welcoming. My boyfriend and I spent 5 days in Kos I got us an upgraded business room which was very impressive in size which overlooked the harbor. I came back by myself a week later after missing the ferry after returning from Athens. They were again very accommodating and remembered me. I got the standard room overlooking the courtyard super cute and was still a good size room. I wish I got pics of the rooms but I did take pictures of the outside areas. The third floor pool and bar/cafe was just too cool and a great view into the harbor and the Mediterranean. Also, great places to eat, drink and shop whichever direction you decide to take.

Location is perfect, walking distance to old town but the most important thing this property needs a serious refurbishment; bathrooms bathtubs and fixtures has to be renewed. Staff is polite and helpful. Breakfast is also good. I am not sure if i can stay again.

Staff are very helpful and friendly. Great service had 2 issues with the door to room and the safe, both were dealt within about 10 minutes. Our room was a bit upside down, bedroom was upstairs, but the wardrobes were downstairs had to be careful when using them. It was a wonderful holiday, thoroughly enjoyed it.

It's a very nice hotel, can recommend the harbour view rooms, other than that the rooms at the back don't have a particularly nice outlook. Staff are excellent, especially the lady at the front of the breakfast room. Still find the tourist tax unnecessary and just a money making scheme.
