Very nice atmosphere, great outdoor terras and fast and friendly service. I had the fish and chips, big of a lame choice, but I needed the calories for cycling. List of beers and other drinks are different and nice.

I went for an ice coffee and ended up staying for two hours. The drink was smooth, not overly sweet, and had a good coffee flavor, refreshing and just right for a hot day. The relaxed atmosphere and comfortable setting made it easy to lose track of time. Definitely a nice spot to unwind with a quality drink. Edit: Was there again and had again a great experience.

Dinner at Kostbar adjoining Bogentrakt was a delight, with warm, enthusiastic servers and perfectly executed modern-traditional options. I enjoyed a delicious goulash with local beef, impeccably tender-crunchy and savory veggies over fresh pureed potatoes. Chocolate-chile/plumb sorbets for dessert. (These are two different sorbets, but for the historical record, they were extremely f’ing delicious together.) Also, when you have drunk and eaten without serious restraint, you can stumble conveniently back to the comfortable prison cell where you may very well belong. PS, if you have been in the market for fine lighting design fixtures, the ceiling at this place may rivet your attention.

The drinks are creative and never sweet. Also a short but great wine list. Fire pit outside is nice with a cocktail on a cold day. The food is warming and authentic. The staff will treat you kindly

Super cool setting (old prison in historical town converted to housing / hostel / restaurant), very nice menu with some local specialties and wine, and last but not least top service, with a keen sense of humor (especially the gentleman) and all staff seemed to do their job with pleasure. Only bemol: wine quite expensive, but I understood these were the default prices for wine in this region.

Great food and fun. Highly recommend.

A great place, with live music! We came in Summer, so the outside table was grateful!
