Kota Beach Resort

I have stayed at many resorts in Bantayan Island, and this was by far the most disappointing. The rooms were terrible for the price. We booked one of their deluxe cottage expecting something decent, but the bed was very hard, the blanket felt cheap, and the bathroom looked low quality. The shower was old and dirty, the water was very salty, and the room itself was outdated with almost no proper toiletries provided. I have stayed at many other resorts in Bantayan that were much cheaper yet far better in terms of comfort and overall quality. We also availed of the Valentine’s dinner for two, and it was very disappointing the food was bland from the starter to the dessert. Even the free breakfast was below basic. The staff were friendly and decent, which was the only positive. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing beach, this is not the place. The beach area is basically public and crowded. The resort is quite old, and they could not even provide room slippers despite the sandy floors. Thankfully, we only stayed for one night because they were fully booked. We are now staying at another resort in Bantayan that is much cheaper, yet the room quality and overall experience are far better. Honestly, I don’t understand why this resort is so hyped when there are many nicer options in Bantayan. Overall, not recommended

Terrible service, beautiful waters, which has nothing to do with the resort.|This place just doesn't know how to work with people. You can tell because they have very low social media engagement and their contact info is not prominent on the site. You will need to go to their third party booking page to contact them. And good luck with someone answering the phone.||Overall, terrible service. Stay elsewhere and enjoy the water.

The place is nice and clean. Accessible to everything. Recommend to everyone who wants to come and visit santa fe.

This is one of the worsest Resort we have been. The Beach is the best of everything. The cottage is terrible we have had two different one and in both the bathroom was terrible with a broken Toilet, everything is very old. The Aircon is very loud. The staff is friendly but slow. The food is nice but the breakfast very basic and always the same. The prize is too high for what you get we payed 24000 for 5 nights. The WIFI mostly of the time does not work and we told to the reception that we need id for work. We do not reccomend this Resort!!! We do not understand why people make this nice votes there is nothing positiv only the beach. We had the room number 17 be careful.

Great location but it's a rip off. Noisy air con I had to switch it off every morning early AM because of the clunking noises were so loud. Awful complimentary breakfast, cold food and shit instant coffee and they charge an extra 60 pesos if you want another cup. No fridge in my room. Tried to charge me 50 pesos for extra pillows I refused to pay. Only give you one pillow per person. Only provide sheets, no blankets or duvet available, such crap, sleeping with only a top sheet is hell. Mattress is very very firm, I don't mind it but just FYI it's a rock. Staff are very nice and fill your water bottle for you in the restaurant. They did forgot I told them when I checked in I had two consecutive, separate bookings and checked with them I could stay in same room etc. Then lo and behold when my first booking ended they called me and messaged me about late check out etc (they forgot about my second booking) . Shouldn't be hard to note down on my account and shows lack of attention to detail that could have led to me being forced to change room etc.

Shabby resort, bathroom is falling apart, grout is moldy. Too many outsiders using the only handful chairs & 2 pavilions w/c disturbed our peace & forced to move, the guards are for show only they do not do anything. Too many people stayed in one tiny cottage & partied until morning. The noise disturbance kept us awake, no one stopped them. Went to the police dept. to complain about implementation of noise ordinance, was advised up to 11pm only. This is not a place to relax.

We stay here and it was realy amazing the People are so nice and becoase we book the flight eurly we had to leave one day before check out, they where so gentle that we could spent the money in voucher in the restaurant they made amazing meals we really loved everything the food is lituraly perfect! The kota burger is super yummy ita hand made burger with srimp chease , Saraap we love to come back some day!

The beach is quite nice. The staff is very freindly. But the beds are VERY hard! Pillows only 1 each and very small. I must roll my pillow into a ball to get enough head support. We live in Cebu City and wanted to come back and spend the whole month of February plus the first two weeks of march here, but as it is we will have a hard time with the 4 nighs we are currently here for
