I visited in December, which is peak tourist season, yet enjoyed a peaceful and crowd-free experience by going early in the morning around 8 AM. If you wish to avoid the crowd and enjoy the serenity, an early morning visit is highly recommended. ✨

This place is highly rated, highly recommended and worth every penny and second. It shows how much wealth the Baniyas of that time, the Patwas had accumulated overtime with their minds and business expansion. It is even more elaborate and eccentric than the king's fort. The walls are just exquisite and a wonder to look at. I did not expect the paleontolithic treasure inside, that was a welcome surprise. It just also shows a mirror to our current society, that those were also not very different to our current ones. The rich lived in siluch luxury with their eccentric habits while the middle class and the poor gave them taxes. How the rich drive the economy and even the king's affluence pales in comparison. Everything is picturesque but it cannot be captured with the same allure it brings to the eyes. You'll love it. Go and explore the Ambanis of that period.
