Disappointing Experience – Needs Improvement ⚠️🍽️ This restaurant has been serving since 1932, but unfortunately, it seems like they haven’t made any real improvements over the years. 🏚️ The food itself is delicious, and the plates are well-prepared, but everything else feels outdated and worn out. The entire place desperately needs renovation to match the expectations of modern customers. 🏚️🔧 Slow & Indifferent Service ⏳🙄 One of the biggest disappointments was the service. The staff seemed uninterested, slow, and unmotivated, almost as if they were tired of working for so many years. 😒💤 With the high number of customers, especially due to the restaurant’s prime location across from the night market, they don’t seem to feel the need to improve or provide better service. Not Worth the Visit – Better Options Available 🚶‍♂️❌ While the food is good, there are many better places to eat in this area where you can enjoy both great food and excellent service. 👍🍽️ If you're just curious, you can give it a try, but don’t expect a high-quality dining experience. Personally, we don’t plan on returning. Unpleasant Payment Policy 💳💰 Another major drawback is their unfair credit card policy. Unlike any other place in the city, they charge a commission fee for credit card payments. 🤨❌ This feels like an unnecessary extra charge that adds to the overall unpleasant experience. Final Verdict – Think Twice Before Going 🤔⚠️ If you’re looking for a memorable dining experience, this might not be the best choice. While the food itself is good, the lack of improvement, poor service, and extra charges make it not worth the visit. There are plenty of better options in the area, so it’s best to consider other restaurants instead. 🚶‍♂️🍽️ Would not recommend unless they make serious improvements. 👎❌

Was there today with a few friends and it was a good start of the day. Since we come from. india I didn't find the food spicy at all and we got a few dishes with prawns, a nice tangy prawn soup, fried prawns, crab fried rice and ice cream. Service at that time was quite fast but we are relaxing so no hurry. Overall a pleasant experience, nothing extraordinary but I've been told a bit pricey for the market price. Good for a first time comer.

2nd time visit. Gotta say, they really don’t know how to deal with beef. Fried beef with oyster sauce, a Cantonese cuisine, was so wrongly done that half of the meat was uneatable waste and the rest was so overcooked that the beef became dry and too chewy. Others were fine, the kitchen is efficient and the staff were friendly. Previous review: delicious food, very fast serving time, friendly staff. very comfortable experience

All the food on tables looks good, plenty of locals mixed with tourists so i went in. Ordered one dish. 30 minutes later i still had not gotten my dish… This is extremely unusual in Thailand. After 33 min finally my dish came (seafood salad with glass noodles). Taste was good, quantity of seafood was on the small side given the very high price (300 baht!!) and that seating was at long common tables without air conditioning. They have this annoying system where a lady constantly talks in a microphone telling waiters where each dish coming out of kitchen goes and also giving orders to the cooking staff in front of her. If the kitchen cannot keep up with orders, expand it! The restaurant seems popular enough, but everyone was waiting very long for their orders… Given the high price, very slow service and good but just normal dish, it loses a lot of points. For this setting one would expect to pay only half price and still get your dish inside 10 minutes!

Ordered the Tom Yum with FISH (not on the menu, but they understood). Absolutely delicious. Came at 3:30pm, place was quiet for a change.

Came here on a Monday night but the place is as busy as if it were weekends. A very local feel restaurant, no air conditioning but they set up a few fans at the outdoor seating so it was all good. Food were delicious, at a reasonable price and in good portion. Staff were able to communicate in English and can accommodate requests such as less / no spicy. Recommended!

The food was absolutely delicious. Nice extended menu. Service is a bit slow and we needed to flag staff down constantly. This is a very popular spot with many natives here which is always a good sign.
