Probably the closest authentic Japanese cuisine you can get in Kathmandu. Friendly staff who helps you with the dishes. Not many tables, so can get crowded easily during peak hours. Comfortable seats. Small table for 2 lacking. Gyoza was good and I had the maki sushi, definitely one of the best you get in Ktm. I was a bit disappointed with the chichen bento box, there was a little too much salad for my liking. But yes, cant deny thet its hard to find a good Japanese restaurant like this in Ktm.

Japanese restaurant located in the busiest street of Durbar marga serves great Japanese food. We went during lunch hour and had to wait for quite some time as it was crowded. However, the staff are very humble and polite. Had a great time.

I love the takeaway food from Koto. They offer one of the finest Japanese dishes in all of Kathmandu. If you want to have a fulfilling Japanese dinner, this place is a must visit. Staffs are hospitable, and interior is quite great too. Decent takeaway services too.

Overall, the food is average and the value for money is not good. Chicken karaage (fried chicken) tasted good but were soggy because of addition of other liquids over it. I found bento box and sushi really not worth the price based on the portion sizes offered. P.S. Its a one time visit place, considering the prices and the portion sizes.

I loved the ambience inside of the restaurant, the staffs were friendly and if you are a first timer for Japanese food, they would suggest you the food as well. Had tried California Roll🥢, basically comes with vegetables, crabstick, mayonnaise and rice wrapped (if I am not wrong 🤔) and was very tasty. Yum yum😋 Suggest all to try it and the place I visited was in Durbarmarg, they also have some other outlets as well.

I tried their Bento, which is not quite satisfactory. The shrimp is not fresh. The chicken is cold. The soup they not serve with bowl cover which Japanese restaurant always does so it gets cold very fast. Price is acceptable but NPR 600 for a not so fresh and a bit cold lunch isn’t that worth. Good location, it is just next to Annapurna Hotel. 2nd floor is tables and chairs setting while 3rd floor is Tatami (mat) setting. Service is not very good. I was waiting for few minutes at the entrance while all the staff( including a waiter) in the semi-open kitchen spot me but they just don’t come to serve.

Don't know why this place is charging 240 for a small bowl of rice when we never argue about small things. Miso soup also 240 and rice also 240 + 10 % + 13% Vat which comes to 300. Don't know what your sense is!!!

Open from 11-3 for lunch and 6 onwards for dinner. They serve very good Japanese food but the service is a bit slow.
