Koukos Rhodian Guesthouse

I wanted to have a coffee, because the setting was nice. I ordered and waited 15 min. Then asked again if they forgot my order, the waitress said, it's arriving! Waited another 15 minutes, and simply left. At least I used the toilet. That's why two stars. sorry, but half an hour for a COFFEE is a bit too much. Probably they didn't want me there...

Made a reservation as it looked good and were recommended by our hotel. Also we hasd a drink here a few night s before and it seemed very nice. But when we came to eat the service was very very poor. Sat waiting for half an hour to make a drink order and nearly an hour to make food order. Couldn't make eye contact with waiting staff. And it wasn't that busy. Food, when it came, was average. I wouldn't go back.

The restaurant is cozy and has a warm, inviting atmosphere. The interior is beautifully designed, with incredible attention to detail in the décor—it's truly fantastic. The food is above average, making the overall experience even more enjoyable.

I avoided their restaurant at first, because it looked fancy and I thought it was expensive. Turned out I was wrong! The price quality ratio is amazing, and also the service and ambiance is great. I was surrounded by locals eating here, it’s not a touristy place which is nice.

If you don't have a reservation, you may have to wait but it's worth it. A place where you can eat quality food. Price performance is at a high level. It was one of our best moments during our 2-day visit to Rhodes.

Clearly very trendy, a bit overrated. The place itself is wonderful, both inside and outdoors. The cocktails we had were marvellous, the meal was just fine. We had to wait over one hour to be seated (in the most uncomfortable table they could find) and another hour to order our food. I understand it's a big restaurant, but I also understand its profits are visibly stellar (the prices are way above average). The management is cheap and evidently understaffs their businness. It's a pity for the potential the place has, but there are so many other wonderful places in the city and on the island that it's not a big deal to miss out on this one.

I can without a doubt say this was amongst the best hotels I have stayed. The level of service far exceeds even the best 5* hotels I have stayed in. From the first moment we arrived to the last, we were treated with such care and attention. Everything was immaculate, the rooms were clean, the breakfast was delicious and varied and the staff were kind and caring. Location is perfect, 3 minutes walk to the beach and 5 to the medeival city. Me and my wife unfortunately got sick during our trip and the hotel and staff did everything to accommodate us, even bringing up food anda offering to buy us medication all to ensure we were as comfortable as possible. Then on the day to checkout we had a late fight and we're still not feeling the best and asked if a later check out was possible. Not only did they make it work but they insisted that it was free of charge as we were unwell. This level of care was really what we needed when we were so sick in a foreign country and made the situation that much easier. Overall I cannot praise them enough, there is allot of other big hotel chains with beachfront pools that are all copy paste of each other, Koukos felt like it has soul and character that none of the others possess and it shines through in the staff. A big thank you personally to the head of house, a lady who took care of us personally and saw that all our needs were met.

Just here to review the restaurant, we just wanted to strike down for a coffee. The staff wasn't really friendly, the coffee was ok but not great and because we were hungry we ordered some bread with dip. Imagine the disappointment you feel when you see that dip, my goodness. There are a lot of great places in Rhodos, this isn't one of them (even though the street they are in, is beautiful)
