We had the pleasure of dining here Four nights out of our 7 night stay in Rhodes. It was so good the first night, we kept going back every night, as we didn’t think anything else would beat them. Speak to the manager for a table, they may not have one straight away as they are incredibly busy, but he will ask you to take a seat in the bar and it never took long for a table. We had different food each night, but everything they served was incredible. The food is absolutely fantastic, full of taste, high quality ingredients, presented in a beautiful way, plentiful, delicious and very tasty. The wine was also perfect! Lovely Greek wine. Actually the food prices are extremely reasonable for the setting you’re eating in! The atmosphere and ambience is well worth the visit alone. Plus the people watching. Greek music is playing while you eat. The staff are amazing, helpful, friendly and welcoming. All of them were great but a BIG Shout out to the manager for getting us a table so promptly each night and Nickolas our incredible friendly waiter, these two made us feel like we were meeting up with old friends, rather than just being customers! You MUST eat here! Thank you all for make our vacation special.

The atmosphere is great and it feels like a special evening out. We booked in advance as it gets very busy. We were seated by the maitre d who was very friendly. Our server was very friendly and helpful too. We were instantly very happy. We chose the fillet of sea bream, the moussaka and the baked potato. All absolutely delicious. The wine was great too. We highly recommend this restaurant. I would just remark one tiny thing. The staff running from table to table and in and out of the bar should smile more and acknowledge their patrons. We, on two occasions, before we got a table tried to get their attention - they looked through us. When they did see us they carried on and ignored us. We totally understand you’re busy, but please smile more and acknowledge your customers. Luckily we didn’t let this put us off as we still had dinner with you. It was great. We would definitely return.

We spent three nights at the Koukos Guesthouse in May. The room was very clean and had a very unique, romantic and lovely style. The indoor whirlpool was very cool. The bed was a bit small and we had some lord noises coming from the bathroom but the rest was just perfect! Exquisit breakfast service to our room every morning with all the dishes you could ask for and a very caring service personal. Thanks guys! The guesthouse offered free bikes for daily trips. The bikes are made of wood and were exclusively made for the Koukos Guesthouse. We had dinner at the restaurant once and liked it. Again the service was great and the cocktails were expensive but simply amazing!

Rang up to book a table yesterday and spoke to someone incompetent who told me to call back tomorrow - as someone who’s worked for years in hospitality I am shocked that this person couldn’t have looked at the reservations and told me they were fully booked for 2 days. I called this morning and spoke to an incredibly rude woman, I expressed that it would’ve been nice to have been told that last night when I enquired instead of being mislead and wasting my time today and now we can’t go anywhere for dinner tonight. She was so patronising saying “YES. As I have said we are FULLY booked” twice over instead of expressing understanding or any apology, her tone was designed to make me feel stupid and I will tell anyone and everyone not to come here as a direct result of this customer service. There is never a reason to speak to someone who is just trying to book a table. She offered Tuesday which I agreed and said it was our very last night so I guess that would be okay and instead hung up on me and I just can’t believe this is a 4 star hotel with staff that speak like that. I have worked at a 5 star hotel for 5 years in the UK for a prestigious one and have never come across this. I will be posting this review on tripadvisor as well. I suggest you book somewhere else to avoid being spoken to like dirt and time wasted. You can just imagine what the dining experience would’ve actually been like if this is how the first impressions are. Go to La Verana instead - Greek and they actually look after you. Sod this place.

We came to this restaurant today specifically because they have a stone oven and, according to several online sources, very tasty dough. The location itself looks nice, but the staff and service were so disastrous, arrogant, and unfriendly that we were completely disappointed. The waiting time was endless. Drinks were served long after the food had already arrived. Our omelette came without bread, and we had to ask three times before it was finally brought to us. By then, the eggs were completely cold. We will definitely not be coming back.

Koukos Rhodian Guesthouse is an absolute gem in Rhodes! The atmosphere is warm, charming, and full of character, with beautiful traditional décor that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a piece of Greek history. The food is outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and authentically prepared, with generous portions and a menu full of local specialties. The staff is incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making every guest’s experience special. Whether you’re visiting for a meal, drinks, or an overnight stay, Koukos is a must-visit spot that captures the true spirit of Rhodes. Highly recommend!

A bit overdoing it. Had to decline 3 times waitresses who would come and grab my drink/water to fill all cups. Had to wait for a table, so we wanted to order drinks and they brought us menus that had nothing but wine and cocktails. Later it turned out they have normal drinks like ouzo and beer, but only with the food menu. Really didn't see why we can't just sit inside on the free tables. It wasn't bad it's just too pushy for me. Pizza wasn't bad, but we didn't need that wine...

Beautiful and cozy atmosphere at night in the restaurant. It's moody and romantic, the food is delicious and service outstanding. I felt very cherished here. The decoration is put together by a loving hand, you can immediately tell. Was very lucky to find this charming space one night when tired and hungry. The alley outside the restaurant drew me in and the menu is what made me stay.
