Was very pleasantly surprised by how good this restaurant has become. I had visited once 2 years ago and was disappointed from the quality mismatch between aesthetics and food. But coming back 2 years later I can say, that this, very well is one of the best restaurants in Heraklion.
Starters were all great especially the gniochi with truffles, the only midiocre table was the melted brie. I had a garlic butter steak as my main course, which was coocked to perfection, very tender and juicy, and full of flavor, while the meat itself was amazing.
As the pastry on the other side of the road is of the same owner it supplies sweets for dessert. Some of the best and most special sweets you can get and a very nice closure to a dinner.
The location is great and the local marvelous, combined with a very extensive wine list, this makes for a very easy recommendation.
