I’ve been to several Kpot location but this one is nice. Our server was very accommodating and super friendly. He even offer cupcake to all the father after the bill was paid. We had a large group of 11 and the server ensure he check on us frequently. The only negative thing I have to say is the restaurant not having any butter because the grill kept on getting burn quickly and the beef tastes dried. We were able to order rounds of drinks to the table. If you love hot pot and Korean beef then this is the place for you. Reasonable price if you have a huge appetite other you’re better off going to an actual Korean restaurant and order individual entrees.

Great spot for a family night or even a first date. Busy atmosphere. Meats, seafood and vegetables are fresh. We had a great celebrating my daughter’s birthday. Oh and the kpot bear comes to your booth and they sing happy birthday. So cute. 🥰

We came to try their KBBQ on a weekend, and it was not bad for the price. The service was great. Our server (Tina) was very sweet, attentive, and personable. She was great checking in with us and changing our grill several times. As for the food, the beef and chicken seemed pretty good quality. The chicken bulgogi was tender and not too sweet or overly marinated. The garlic chicken was just like the chicken bulgogi with a lot of diced garlic. If you love garlic, then this would be good, but it was too much garlic for me. The veggies could be sliced a bit thinner so that they grill quicker, but I understand that they probably use the same sliced veggies for hot pot, and the veggies for hot pot would need to be in thicker chunks. Their bean sprouts, kimchi, and fried chicken sides were good too, and I like that they have a fruit station. Overall, pretty decent KBBQ. We didn't mind cooking for ourselves, but because the grill is smaller than other KBBQ places like Cast Iron KBBQ, it takes a bit longer to cook everything. Changing and re-oiling the grill also took up a good amount of time. Grilling the food ourselves definitely is a different experience, not better or worse. If I was in the mood, I'd definitely check out another KPOT location because the amount of food and quality of the food is pretty good for the price.

We were a party of three on 5/31/25, celebrating a birthday, our server was named “Aaron” I believe, he was super sweet, communicative, patient, and friendly.

The food was great, the margaritas were horrible (there's no category for drinks so that's why I'm giving food 3 stars, if not for the drinks it would be 4), service was awkward and at times rude. Full story: Our server is young so I'm sure a part of it is due to his inexperience and that is something I can forgive and forget instantly, however the other parts were rude. We came here for lunch and it was not busy at all - just a handful of tables with customers. At first the server didn't know the drink specials, falsely told us the happy hour has already started, after going to talk with the bartender he came back to the table with the specials, I asked about specials that I saw on a sign by the entrance that the server didn't mention and the server said they don't exist so I had to walk with the server to the entrance to show the sign to them. When we got the margaritas they were not cold, extremely sweet, and not strong at all to the point where it seemed that there was no alcohol in it at all, ended up getting a pitcher of beer for our 2nd drink. This is an All You Can Eat place and they limit each table to 2 hours. About one hour after we got there the server started asking us if we've already ordered the last thing and this happened 2-3 times and definitely soured the mood as it seemed like we were being pushed out while we were just taking our time ordering the different things we wanted to try off the buffet menu. The final time they came back to speak to us they said that we're coming up on an hour and a half (so we still have more than half an hour to order and eat!!) so now we felt REALLY rushed and talked down to, then the server asked again if we're ready to make our final selection which came off rude again. Still tipped 20% because it's just a kid trying to make a dollar but geez, read the room and don't rush your customers when there's still a ton of time left, I'm hoping somebody from the restaurant sees this and resolves the problem with some training that is just very basic social skills. In the meantime I'm going to stick with going to the Philadelphia Mills location - every time I went there the service was warm, kind and helpful and the drinks were great.

First visit was last Christmas, I clearly ordered 4 portion of pork belly and it came with 5 slices???? Also our order kept missing. Ordered 6 items and came 4. Have to constantly reminder our server that still a lot of missing. Went there last week for my son’s birthday. Same story again. No matter how many portions of meat I order, it always came out with the same size of plate(little tiny one). I even told my server that can I order 2 plates of that amount of meat, of course that never happened. I requested 4 times of we need 2 plates. We ended up spent half of our time sitting there waiting for our order to come. Btw we got there around 12:30pm and left around 2pm. There were 4 tables of customers including us so there shouldn’t be any excuses

I went here to celebrate a belated birthday dinner for my son. He was a bit frustrated on what to do in the beginning but our server, Jon T. was awesome in explaining how it all worked and put out minds at ease. After five minutes, it seemed like my son was a pro. He so enjoyed cooking his own food creation at the table and actually, so did I. I will come here again now that I have a plan on my next fun food creation. However, make sure that you are hungry, really hungry when you visit so you are getting your money's worth. This place is very nice and calm and pretty to look around. I would have loved to see a huge fish tank some place with lights but that is just me trying to redecorate.. lol Give this place a try. It's great

The newest Korean Hot Pot experience in Northeast Philadelphia. Been here twice so far and each time has been great. The service staff is great and will even do a little song for birthdays, we went on a night with 5+ birthday tables!

Yelp
Decided to try this place again a few days ago. I went on Friday, about three in the afternoon. Place was practically empty again, though I was seated right away. The table was directly under an air conditioner that was very cold, which did lessen my experience a bit, but I didn't have the gumption to ask to sit at a different table. This time I ordered my food and Pepsi, I ordered a ribeye, short rib, and Angus Chuck flap tail, along with a bunch of vegetables. I definitely got more garlic than I needed, and either they accidentally gave me a double portion or I would recommend they shorten that portion of garlic a little. The flap tail was really good, it had a sesame base marinade. The Steak was good too, I seasoned mine with salt and pepper (the veggie too) and that made it perfect to eat with the sauce I made. While I was cooking my short rib, having already finished my other meats, I ordered their thin sliced prime brisket. My only issue really occurred near the end; my waitress was proactive in asking if I want my pan changed once. But then later in my meal when she suddenly turned my grill off, I thought she was going to do another pan change because I still had raw meat left. But she didn't. I tried to cook the rest of my food with the residual heat, but it only pulled up the char from the grill and made it taste nasty, which was ashame. Also tried their new crawfish that they have next to their sauce station; I don't know if it was because they were sitting out a long time or were previously frozen and old, but I got several big crawfish, only to open them and see tiny shrunken tail meat that was rubbery and tasted too fishy. The ice cream at the end they offer now is nice, it's Hershey's brand, and says ice cream and not 'ice cream product', so it's actual ice cream. This time was better than my last, but I didn't like how she turned my grill off without asking if I was done, and I was only about an hour through my time. The place hadn't even gotten busy, there was at max, like ten tables including me, and one had just been seated. Having come back a few months from my last visit, I would say definitely need to have the servers be more communicative. Ask if the person is done eating. You can even do this non-directly, by asking 'do you need a grill change?', 'would you like to order more?', 'Is there anything I can get you?'. Not just turn my grill off out of nowhere with no communication. As I type this, I realize I felt so rushed at that big, I didn't do my customary thing at the end were I get some oranges from the banchan station, which I always do to end my meal at a KBBQ/Buffet place. Dang. Also that's another way servers can discreetly see if their table is done, if they're getting dessert.

Yelp
We made it out to the new location kpot in northeast Philly on Cottman, nice layout. First thing I noticed was they had 2 person seats, our server was great, perfect for date nights. As always, all you can eat deliciousness

Yelp
My first time doing hot pot, but not my first for Korean BBQ. The price is reasonable to do both with unlimited options. I'm more of a veggie eater but tried a few meat options. My favorite was the short rib for the grill and I also enjoyed the pork belly for hot pot. The service was great and they came around to change our hot plate a few times as we continued to cook. The spicy pork and fried scallops were my least favorite. I tried the tomato soup for my broth and it was light (more brothy than a typical creamy tomato soup) which is exactly what I hoped for. It added a nice flavor as I added veggies and dumplings. I'd come back to try some other options and I was happy there was a large veggie variety.

Yelp
Our first time trying hot pot and/or Korean bbq and we loved it. We had no idea what we were doing and our waitress was very patient and walked us through the menu and then even told us how to start cooking. Once she got us started we were good to go. My favorite was the short rib bbq, my son loved the ramen hot pot ( that's no surprise). My husband loved the garlic shrimp bbq. We each tried a different hot pot broth so we could figure out which one we liked the best. Unfortunately I didn't get any pics of the food because once it came we were just enjoying the moment. Our waitress gave us a paper menu to go so I could mark off the stuff we tried and liked so next time we can try different things and or order our favorites. Overall we had a great experience even though we did have to wait about 35 minutes for a seat, next time I will go on a weekday and hopefully it won't be as busy.

Yelp
To be perfectly honest, if you've been to any of KPOTs in philly then you've been to them all. The service and the food are basically the same whichever one you go. Which is a good thing, you get consistent service and food quality. However, the service at this location is a little bit hit or miss. Some servers are fantastics but some left me desiring better service. And it sucks especially knowing that the good ones are really good so when I get a server that is no where to be seen when I need them is frustrating. I hope their servers become more consistent in the future since I know they recently opened up this location. Shoutout to the food runners, they're great even with the little amount of interactions we have. Kpot Rhawnhurst is still a great place to get your KBBQ + hotpot fix. Now you enjoy it in near NE instead of going all the way up to the far NE

Yelp
Customer service horrible and they don't care. It's a hit and miss to get service, but when missed, it is horrible.

Yelp
Don't go to this restaurant. The cleaning is horrible, but I still stayed and ate, but I regret it. Immediately when I ate it I started feeling sick. I got home and vomited a lot, a lot of pain in my stomach. I was sick for three days, the food was definitely contaminated..

Yelp
My man told me that they had opened up a new location in the northeast and I love me some kpot! Lol Definitely loved it! Wait time was pretty quick for a busy night! Staffs were amazing! Food was amazing! Clean spot! Although they weren't liquor/ bar ready hopefully our next visit they'll be ready lol overall 8/10

Yelp
The wait was about 30 minutes on a Saturday night. They do not take reservations for parties smaller than 8. It was our first time here so our waiter explained how everything worked. We got the hot pot and kBBQ which was $36 per person. There is a good selection of items to order.

Yelp
LOVED this place!!! My boyfriend and I went for Valentine's Day, no reservation and only had to wait 30min. Food was awesome, the only thing is that their spicy meats are REALLY spicy, but we still ate it all. Our server was the best, really attentive and cordial. And the dip sauce bar???? A DREAM One of the bartenders helped me made one of her favorite sauces and it was BOMB! I'm really happy I live near this place, it's going to be my new spot when the bar is available. Ambience is nice, they got kawaii decoration

Yelp
We called a week beforehand to give a heads up on a 40 people birthday party reservation , which Kpot agreed and gave us the thumbs up. They even required us to give a $500 deposit to secure the 40 people reservation. which is understandable considering the size of our party. But when we came today, with 40 people standing outside the restaurant, the front desk said "We're too busy, sorry", and gave us the $500 back. No call No compensation No service 40 people are just standing outside in the cold weather because Kpot decided to ditch our reservation out of the blue and did not try the least to contact us before we came. Management needs more training, service needs to improve, and promises needs to be kept. Where do you want us to go with a 40 person party that do not require reservation at 6pm Sunday night. Completely unprofessional and untrained.
