Kreuz Bern Modern City Hotel

This hotel is in a great location close to the train station and the old city. The staff was very nice and helpful, especially during a power outage that happened just before checkout, with one employee shining a flashlight on the stairs so my mother would not trip. Additionally, the woman working the front desk was very helpful and loaned a stool to assist with getting into the very high bathtub.

Hotel is located in the center of Bern. Modern building with nice and cozy rooms. Hotel is equipped with gym, restaurant, tv room and small terrace. Breakfast buffet is really good (especially the pancakes yummm). Service was great, Alexandra from reception was kind and friendly. We had a little issue with the bathroom sink being blocked, and the cleaning ladies very quickly fixed it. I would definitely come back.

Location is in the centre of city where many shops and restaurant are just 1 block away from the hotel. There is also a performance of pianist and cycling aerobic in front of the hotel and some restaurantz nearby. The room is also quite spacious and clean.

Perfect location, arrived early and was provided secure lockers to leave our luggage while we explored the city. Front desk staff fabulous providing suggestions on walking routes and restaurants. Our room was spacious and clean with a complimentary coffee bar right outside. Could have used an in-room mini fridge but otherwise perfect.

Amazing find. Very well designed modern and new. Excellent rooms, well appointed and functional. I was on a budget so booked this as one if the cheapest options in the city that offered late check in (24h desk). Was very impressed and breakfast was excellent.

Excellent place to stay. The staff was extremely helpful, the room was clean and very comfortable. The Hotel Kreuz Bern is in great location and is reasonablly priced, we highly recommend!

Perfect location in Old Town! Three minutes from the Zytlogge and many restaurants around the hotel. All of Old Town is within walking distance and bus line is right around the corner. Check-in staff is friendly and helpful. Room is very modern and exceptionally clean. Lighting is excellent and there are many plugs for accessory chargers. 43" TV. Beds and bedding are plush, but bed is still firm. Lounge area and gym on 5th floor for relaxation.

My overall experience was wonderful. I particularly enjoyed the hotel's location, which was convenient and offered easy access to the city. The common areas were fantastic, including the game room, tea room, reading area, and gym. It was a delight to be able to relax with a cup of tea after dinner or a long day of exploring. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to assist us with navigating the city and overcoming language barriers. The housekeeping service was exceptional, with staff who were not only efficient but also very friendly and kind. I look forward to returning to Bern and staying at the Kreuz hotel again in the future.
