Wow. The food is delicious. The moussaka is the best I have ever eaten. Even if you’ve never had one, do it. It takes a whole day to prepare. Everything else we ate was executed to perfection. Then the service. Very caring, attentive and makes you feel like one of the family. Also had the orange pie to finish! Perfection…

Krinaki Tavern is hands down one of the best local spots around! The service was amazing, everyone was so friendly. They even took the time to explain all the authentic Greek dishes, which was such a nice touch. The whole vibe, with the traditional music, made it feel like a real Greek experience. Absolutely incredible food. My husband had this delicious lamb dish, and I went for their shrimp Saganaki Krinaki. For dessert, we shared the Semi Freddo chocolate which was heavenly. Honestly, we couldn’t even pick a favorite because everything was just that good. If you’re staying in the area, you HAVE to check this place out. It’s the kind of spot you’ll be talking about long after your trip!!

We were last at Krinaki Tavern in 2021 and it’s as good as we remember. A short walk from the main strip in Oia. We had the homemade sausage, meatballs and sardines to start, followed by the chicken souvlaki and lamb as main. All were delicious. I’d go back again today just for the meatballs with potatoes! Service was also great. Highly recommended.

We were only in the area for 4 nights and ate here twice because it was so good. And the service is wonderful. Everyone is very friendly, and knowledgeable. The open air seating is perfection. Highly recommend this restaurant.

We have eaten here 2 times while staying in oia. It was 5 mins walk from our hotel and worth every minute of walk. The restaurant is amazing, the atmosphere is really good, they really take care of the guests. The food is absolutely the best. For the second time we went there, they greeted us like we would be everyday guests there, even got some complimentary desserts:) i had an amazing time there, go there and try it, because its way more better than any fancy oia restaurants:))) thank you for the amazing birthday dinner.

Excellent food (especially the melitzanosalata!) and very generous portions. The staff are very friendly, attentive and helpful whenever there may be questions about the menu - they also very kindly offered us blankets as night drew in and the temperature was falling. All in all an excellent tavern which will be one of our first stops should we visit Santorini again.

The best restaurant in all of Santorini. We came for our honeymoon and didn’t go anywhere else to eat for the whole trip. The kindest and most generous people and great homey atmosphere. Don’t get me started on the food, there was not one thing we got here the we were even a little unsatisfied. Everything was amazing! Truly made our trip!

We’ve visited Krinaki Tavern twice during our stay in Santorini, and it’s easily one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had — not just on the island, but anywhere. From the warm and welcoming service, to the incredible food, to the peaceful and authentic atmosphere in the heart of Finikia village — everything is simply 10 out of 10. My boyfriend and I are spending the summer working in Santorini, and coming to Krinaki felt like a true escape. After long days of work, finding a place that offers such peace, kindness, and soul-warming food was a gift. It reminded us of why we love Greece so much — the hospitality, the flavors, the people. Every dish we tried was fresh, full of flavor, and clearly made with love and high-quality local ingredients. You can really tell that this is a place where tradition meets care and passion. The setting is magical — away from the crowds, with a calm and cozy vibe that makes you feel at home the moment you walk in. What makes Krinaki truly stand out is not just the food, but the heart behind it. You feel the love and dedication in every detail — from the service, to the music, to the way the tables are set. It’s the kind of place that stays with you, even after you leave. It’s rare to find a spot that gets everything right — and Krinaki does just that. Whether you’re visiting Santorini for a few days or you live here, do yourself a favor and come experience it. Highly, highly recommended.
