The best meal we enjoyed in Santorini! Wonderful service, a charming setting, great value and the food was very very good. The best fava I’ve ever had and the best orange pie too (and I visit Greek islands every year!) Everything was delicious. I would love to return!

We absolutely loved this restaurant! Real authentic Greek food! The manager made sure we had an amazing time. And the view from the garden is beautiful! Make sure to try the Moussaka, Calamaris, Sea Bream, Slow-cooked Spareribs and the Greek Salad! We got a free starter and dessert, really nice Greek touch.

Came at the end of a season on a rainy day without a booking. The place was almost full but no one was rejected, think in proper summer it does open more than the main building. I need to also mention that I was originally hesitant to come since interior photos didn't look very nice, on the other hand in reality it looked quite nice. Ordered a few starters, really nice fried calamari, really nice green salad with fruits and really tasty and saucy prawn saganaki mopped with some bread. For mains I had a really nice orzo dish and I even enjoyed the dessert (I just showed a picture). I was quite impressed by the place and it was probably the best food I tried in Greece. I would recommend!

This was the best food we had in Santorini! Charming service, beautiful view of the sunset in a quiet village. The food was great, we had fava, grilled cheese, spicy sausage, pasta (veggie main option was surprisingly unique with fresh homemade shells and a delicious sauce), lamb wrapped in vine leaves. We also tried the vermicelli sandwich - similar to a lemon meringue pie which was excellent. Went in October so pretty quiet but felt very welcomed and looked after.

A Hidden Gem with Great Views This excellent restaurant is a bit off the beaten track, but it's absolutely worth the effort to find it. The terrace offers breathtaking views over the countryside, making for a truly memorable dining experience. What We Had: Starters - Deep-fried calamari - Basket of white and brown sourdough bread - French Fries/Potatos - Plate of cucumber (specially prepared for our son upon request - not on the menu) Main Courses - Grilled buffalo soutzoukakia from Kerkini (meatballs with cumin and garlic) served with pita bread, tomato sauce, onions, and yogurt dip with garlic - Lamb wrapped in vine leaves with village-style potato purée (probably the best I've ever tasted) Dessert - Greek vermicelli "sandwich" with cream of lemon All paired with a lovely local white wine. The Verdict: The food was fantastic - fresh and incredibly flavorful. The staff's willingness to prepare something special for our son really demonstrated their hospitality. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic cuisine in a beautiful setting.

Absolutely superb taverna, lots of traditional style dishes but elevated to a really excellent standard. Service was also fabulous. Beautiful place.

Wow. The food is delicious. The moussaka is the best I have ever eaten. Even if you’ve never had one, do it. It takes a whole day to prepare. Everything else we ate was executed to perfection. Then the service. Very caring, attentive and makes you feel like one of the family. Also had the orange pie to finish! Perfection…

Krinaki Tavern is hands down one of the best local spots around! The service was amazing, everyone was so friendly. They even took the time to explain all the authentic Greek dishes, which was such a nice touch. The whole vibe, with the traditional music, made it feel like a real Greek experience. Absolutely incredible food. My husband had this delicious lamb dish, and I went for their shrimp Saganaki Krinaki. For dessert, we shared the Semi Freddo chocolate which was heavenly. Honestly, we couldn’t even pick a favorite because everything was just that good. If you’re staying in the area, you HAVE to check this place out. It’s the kind of spot you’ll be talking about long after your trip!!
