"Feed Your Inner Hippie Krishnas cuisine offers vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options, and is probably one of the cheapest places to eat in all of Oslo . As the name suggest, the dishes are inspired by Indian culture. This restaurant has been a favourite with vegetarians and students for years and years! PS. Also offers take-away."

I had a great time here. All the items I ordered were served perfectly and had authentic Indian Flavours, courtesy of Chef. The ambience was truly home-like. I'll suggest the vegetarians to try this place once in Chile.

I am eating here at the moment. The place was completely empty, and considering the quality of the food, and how friendly the staff is, I have no explanation for this. Of, and the price is very reasonable. 15 eur for a huge plate of tasty food - I got a chickpeas and zucchini stew, with a cabbage, carrots green peas and tofu, plus a helping of delicious and perfectly cooked rice. Plus two pieces of naan bread.

If you are looking for Vegetarian or Vegan Option (without Egg) this is the place. Part of ISKCON movement affiliated restaurant chain. Food is simple and filling. I took the full plate. Rice, 2 veggies, lentil soup, fries and salad along with chutney and pickle.

Simple but delicious vegetarian /vegan food in Oslo. As they say, food for health/ body and the soul. I wouldnt call the food 'Indian' because many of the ingredients, vegetable combinations, cooking style are not common in India (eg. Broccoli is not common in India, Squash is not very common in India, rømme sauce is unheard in India). The food in Krishnas Cusine is unique to the 'Hare Rama, Hare Krishna' disciples/ followers and is based on Ayurveda (so says their information sheet). A real good alternative to the spiced-up/ fattened-up "Indian food" available in restaurants across Oslo. The food here will make you feel full but not bloated. We are not vegetarians but we found the vegeterian food here very enjoyable and fulfilling and we already went back to Krishnas Cuisine multiple times.

Tasty vegetarian food at a reasonable price

Google
Amazing food, super simple menu but perfectly satisfactory. You wouldn't expect such a gem within a mall. The staff was really friendly, and it was all around a pleasant time.

Everyone at my work have been obsessing with their food ever since one of our coworker brought take out. Their sauces are delicious, perfect combination of spices!!! It’s not cheap but portions are huge!!!

Yelp
I've been eating at Krishna's for sixteen years (!) and feel qualified to confirm that if nothing else these guys are consistent. Where else in town can you get a healthy filling and genuinely tasty meal for 160,-? Exactly, nowhere. I've been here with the whole family incl young children and with mates for a quick bite before a film across the road. Always cheerful service and always room. Ok, so it's not exactly the coolest interior and it's is hidden away in the semi basement of one of Oslo's only unpretentiously shabby old shopping centers, but that's actually part of its charm. If you like tasty homemade Indian food in a canteen and extreme value for money - this is for you.

Yelp
Really cozy place with delicious food. Cauliflower soup--two of my favorite phenomenons--together as one. The amount of food served is quite large so it's a great value. The service was great and brought a smile to my face :)

Yelp
Very pleased with the food here. Delicious vegetarian meals that comes with two curries, one chutney, rice, pappadam, pickle and a cold side which is yogurt based and a warm soup. All this for 160 NOK. I don't think there is any restaurant out there that can beat this price. This is unbelievable value for money and really delicious food too. Love the staff here. They are so friendly and have a wonderful smile at all times. I must say that if you are travelling here and you want food on a budget but want to eat healthy then you should dine here. It may not look like a lot but it is the heartfelt service that makes a difference. I love this place already. Have been here twice. Oh! Did I mention all that food was served once and you could actually go back to get more for free? You didn't see that coming did you? However my partner and I having tiny stomachs couldn't eat everything so we went for smaller portions which comes for half price. And we had room for dessert this time! I know ISKCON in India and I do know that they run vegetarian restaurants in other parts of the world too, like in London. But honestly I didn't know they would subsidize their food so much. I am totally grateful that I found this place here.

Yelp
Had some hopes for this place. Not bad but expected better. Food is basically very bland. It's also a big of an odd mix of food for a buffet. Can go once (if your taste buds are not particularly choosy). I think they have tried to marinate 2 different cultures here: one one hand you have the semi holy people who have not much interest in food, they can live off anything(veggie) and one the other hand you have the food lovers. This restaurant tries to fix a square peg in a round hole. They have some soup every day. If u take the whole meal the soup is included. Do it's basically soup, rice, veggie curry, papadom n pickles (thank god for pickles I say). Then some varieties and mix and match of food. Lassi not too bad. So all in all this should not be tagged as a restaurant but an eatery(akin to a watering hole)

Yelp
Narsi C.'s review hits the spot. Dirt cheap, quick vegetarian Indian meals. For 150kr "dagens rett", you get a combo of five - rice, veggie curry, yogurt bread, soup and papadam, and you can REFILL FOR FREE until you're full (1450kr superdeal buys you 10 meals...). Today's curry can only be described as a supermild "goulash with paneer". Chutney ok, papadam good, lentil soup thin and underseasoned. Being a vegetarian canteen is not an excuse - vegetarian meals can be soo much better! Still, one cannot complain for its value. Not great, but not offensive either - it's just very neutral. Good option if you are in the neighbourhood and (a) saving money, (b) super hungry and (c) not in particular mood for complex tastes. 2.5 stars.

Yelp
A vegetarian restaurant in the Colosseum center. It is pretty good and reasonably priced. I suppose I should rate this place higher, but it is a restaurant in a shopping mall. That said, if you're veggie you would be remiss in not going once.

Yelp
There are not many vegan food options in Oslo. They have both vegetarian and vegan options here. I had the vegetable curry with rice and pumpkin soup, healthy and yummy!

Bill K.

Yelp
Perhaps one of the cheapest meal options in Oslo. It is more of a small food court type arrangement rather than a restaurant, but the food is decent and certainly not bad considering the price. Recommended!
