Krispy Catfish

The new management took over about 2 months ago and let me tell you there is a big change. They no longer have grease pooling under the food. The manager came to our table to ask if everything was to our satisfaction. Come check them out you will no be disappointed.

I’ll start with what little good there was. The breading was pretty good and I liked the hush puppies. However, all I could taste of the fish was the breading because the fillet was so horribly thin. It was as if they took a regular fillet and cut it in half. What little fish was there is Swai, not even real catfish. Needless to say I’m going to have to go get more food elsewhere because there was nothing substantial in my meal. *sigh*

The catfish strip basket is my FAVORITE! you guys need to go run..not walk.. but RUN here! These guys makes your order how you like it and doesn't hesitate to do as asked of them. Their catfish is crispy & just so delicious, also their frozen lemonade is bomb!

This place has been a staple of southern catfish goodness on McCart for years. With each change in management, the food and service remained the same. Since moving out of the city, it was a miss and hard replacement. While visiting a relative, I decided to pickup lunch for them to savor that missed goodness. Thankfully, Krispy Catfish was still in the same spot but under new management. Serving memorable menu items along with some new featured ones. I ordered my faves, 2pc catfish, and a kids catfish strip. Everything was perfectly prepared, fresh and hot. Upon tasting all the memories and more danced around my mouth. Absolutely deeelish!!😋 SN: Sam was very informative and friendly. He guaranteed goodness . Service well done 👏🏽 👏🏽👏🏽

We've been going here for years and continue to have the best catfish in DFW. They have new management but kept the menu and quality the same. Visit, it's well worth it. We love our catfish in strips the best. So tender, always clean, and super hot.

First time back in 20 years. The place has been completely remodeled and is under new ownership. The catfish is just as good as I remember it; nice sized filets that don’t taste like dirt. I’m a huge coleslaw critic, but theirs really hits; nice and creamy with just the right amount of sweetness.

Tried this place today! It’s very clean! Fish was smoking hot and crispy! The cherry frozen lemonade was so good! The manger is very nice ! Definitely a new spot for fresh fried fish. 10 stars!!!
