Wonderful Stay at Kritikakis Village Hotel! We recently stayed at Kritikakis Village Hotel, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, the warm and welcoming staff made us feel right at home. The service was exceptional, with every member of the team going out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The rooms were clean, cozy, and offered breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea, adding to the charm of this peaceful location. We especially loved the attention to detail, from the daily housekeeping to the thoughtful touches that made us feel so cared for. The hotel’s location was perfect—just a short walk from the port and local attractions, yet nestled in a tranquil spot that gave us a real sense of escape. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious breakfast in the morning. Overall, Kritikakis Village Hotel exceeded all our expectations. The combination of lovely service, beautiful surroundings, and genuine hospitality made our stay truly special. We can’t wait to come back! Thank you to the entire team.

Pros:|> Location|> Daily cleaning|> Good size of the room|> Maria from Reception very polite and helpful||To be improved:|> The bathroom facilities, particularly the toilet, require updating to match the room rate. Our room's toilet door didn't close properly, and the bathroom fixtures and tiles look outdated.|> Soundproofing is poor. We could hear when other rooms were showering.|> The mattress was too soft for us, but this is a matter of preference.|> Reception service was inconsistent; while Maria was helpful, the arrogance of the second lady in the reception was disappointing||We enjoyed our time on the island but would try different accommodation in this area next time

We had a really beautiful stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by friendly staff at the reception who were so helpful (they even give you a little video presentation to talk about all things Ios and the hotel). Amalia in particular was a delight, she helped us book our boat tour the next day and got us in last minute and ensured we were well looked after. It was our first time in Ios, so it was lovely that she was so helpful - we felt really comfortable getting around and knowing what to do after her recommendations and help.||Our room was nice and clean, plenty of room for 2 people with 2 big suitcases, the bathroom is a little small and that would be my only knock. ||Close to most things (port especially) but the walk to the town is up a massive hill, so going up can be a struggle. The bus stop however is directly outside of the hotel and comes every 15 mins which takes you to everywhere on the island. ||Highly recommend this place to anyone wanting nice people, quiet and relaxing place to stay (away from the beach clubs etc)

Overall, good experience. We got a deluxe bedroom, it was new and lovely. Beds were comfy and the bathroom was spacious! Very well cleaned too! The pool area is just fine, very simply furnished but does the job. Good value for money. I like the location. Peaceful and calm and still pretty central. But mostly, the staff were absolutely lovely! Dimitris, on the main desk, welcomed us and gave was great tips and insights on the island. Everyone was caring and attentive! Thank you all!

A wonderful village hotel in a great location, just a short 10-minute walk from the port. The rooms are modern, the service is excellent, and the staff is incredibly friendly—special thanks to Zizi for her warm welcome! The breakfast was nice, and the guidance provided for our stay was very helpful. Highly recommend!

We only stayed for two nights, but we enjoyed our time very much. The staff were all very welcoming and gave us information and advice about the island, and even gave us welcoming drinks! Our room was wonderfully renovated and the pool was easily accessible from our room too. Thank you!

Very very good hotel. Cannot fault it. Right from when we first showed up the staff were very accomodating, putting together a slide show to teach you about the island and hotel. Hotel is right next to the port beach and has a bus stop directly outside for ease of transport. The hotel being located downhill from the town of Chora was nice, especially after a night out.
