If you’re looking for something a bit different to do, then Kižanke may be the place for you. This unique theatre venue is for theatre and music. It’s located in a previous convent for priests and seminarians. Since 1952, it has been a center for a variety of the city’s music festivals. During the summer, the courtyard is also used to showcase musicians and actors. The best way to enjoy this place is to look up and book online.
Being lovers of history we really enjoyed visiting this place as it was once the home of the Order of Teutonic Knights, these days a theatre, so worth a visit.

No beer allowed in the concert, only area in front. Men's toilette is not that good. Dissapointing
I aM.

Best atmosphere in an old part of Ljubljana. Sound, feelings, vibes, Plečnik's vision always bringing the warmth of memories.

a fine establishment that hosts a variety of events both during the Ljubljana Festival but also otherwise. paid parking is available closeby, and so are a few restaurants.
facilities are clean and fairly modern.

The open air theater is really amazing. You could watch a show under the stars or enjoy in the concert. They do have a roof for rainy days so no worries about that. The arhitecture is amazing. Highly suggest to check it out.
