This five star review goes out to the self-checkout worker 12/22/25 around 9-10am, I believe her name was Shunikka, only got a glimpse of her name tag on the way out. I witnessed her go above and beyond today to help another customer with scanning his items, and directly after that she informed another customer of a current promotion that applied to the items he was checking out with. That really struck me, especially with the prices of groceries soaring more than ever, that someone would go out of their way to help someone out of the kindness of their heart with absolutely nothing to gain from it. I rarely write reviews, but I just had to share my experience in hopes that she sees this and knows her kindness did not go unnoticed!!!

I would like to thank and praise Kroger Staff who kept my cell phone secure until my grandson went back to retrieve it today !!! I laid it down as we were bagging our items and walked out… I didn’t realize I had left it until I got home 😵‍💫 My grandson went back to Kroger immediately and, thankfully, staff there had found it and put it in a lockbox … I can’t thank y’all enough for securing it and for handing it over to him once he proved his relationship to me 😀 Gold Stars for you all ‼️🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Puts my local Kroger to shame. So much more space and a lot more neat food stuff with Kroger discounts to purchase. Some of the hanging aisle signs didn't have anything on them but at least the entrance didn't smell like rats like *my* Kroger. :-P

Hands down, The Absolute BEST, customer experience I’ve had at any Kroger store I’ve visited. In fact it may be my favorite place in Central Mississippi to shop for Groceries and Hot Wheels! I’ve been all over the state looking to find those cars which are exclusive to just the Kroger/Myers’s stores! I stayed till 11:05 gathering everything up, fully expecting to get berated again like my most recent trip to the Kroger in Clinton. But to my surprise the two associates I met while checking out “Cory and Mis Kiniah” were both very kind and most generous with their time! I apologize for being late and holding them up from getting off and going home. It was past 11:00 pm at this point but I was treated as if were their friend who was shopping during normal business hours. Such a refreshing change of pace for me, as I often do my searching as late as possible so as to not interfere with the other shoppers their during the day or the 5:00pm mad rush of people who have stopped by just after leaving their own places of employment for the work day. I really could go on for a good bit, giving praise to various aspects of the location including, the wide product selection the have on hand, the hassle free returns I’ve mad with receipts from another store 100 miles away. To the overall cleanliness and orderly arrangement of their promotional/seasonal temporary product displays. Now your mileage may vary depending on the variables of the day, but I can safely suggest that you should not expect to be disappointed if you are considering coming out to this location. It’s worth the extra drive in my opinion even if you live as far away as Madison! That store is not on my list of options if only because it’s a chore just to get in the parking lot and get in the door. Im not talking about the great big store down past Lowe’s/Hobby lobby on the other side of 55. No it’s the other store over by Home Depot which I avoid at all cost. That’s a little much, it’s not terrible, but the traffic can be also it’s often crowded with the smaller floor-plan it used. I just can say enough to cover accurately how good I was made to feel about last hour Hot Wheels Hunt. Those two individuals deserve more recognition than I’m capable of offering here. I genuinely felt good when I left tonight. Would you date to guess who were still there as I was exiting the parking lot after sorting and arranging my stuff before I drove an hour back to my home in Vicksburg? Of course it was Cory and Kiniah who smiled, waved and wished me safe travels tonight. That’s how I was able to get their names for this review, they treated me better than family even after hours in the parking lot! Bravo two them both! And Bravo to the Kroger staff responsible for identifying, obtaining and retaining the type of employees the type of People who make the choice easy for me! I hope I’ve made your choice just as easy. I decided to go get the groceries i need for my holiday meal early Friday before the weekend and before the chaos of Thanksgiving week at the grocery store hit. Grocery shopping in person has become much more difficult due to all the Instacart or other paid shoppers. They have huge carts and make navigating through very difficult. They never smile, seem annoyed with your presence, and whatever you do, don’t ask them where something is located. Thanks to a sweet and very helpful worker, Alvin, I was able to find the cherries. He restored my joy and belief that there are still nice people out there. Kroger did well to hire him. Thank you Alvin!!

This store is getting to be more and more of a hassle to shop at. I used self checkout. As I was preparing to pay, the self checkout register locked up. (This is a common occurrence. For the past two months, almost every week, the self checkout register locked up.) The employee tried to transfer me to her register, but her register locked up. She told me I would have to rescan all of my groceries. I just went to the regular register. However, the cashier was unable to scan some of the coupons, so I had to take the coupons to customer service to get a refund. The young lady did what she was supposed to do, but had a sourpuss look on her face.

One of the best grocery stores that I have ever walked into….store is always very clean and shelves were stocked….

everytime i buy beef at this kroger, it goes bad in 2 days!!!! even though the expiration is 10 days away!!!! DO NOT BUY THE BEEF HERE

This is a great Kroger. Probably the best one I've ever been in. It's huge, super clean, well-lit, and open 24/7! There isn't much open in MS 24/7, so that's a huge, huge bonus, especially for a night owl like me! The employees here are friendly and helpful. it's always easy to find one available if you're in need of assistance. They keep enough lanes open so check-out is fast and they also have self-checkout lanes available to speed things up even more. Generally speaking, I am not a fan of off-brand sodas, but Kroger brand sodas are actually pretty good. Hubby and I both like the Big K (which is like Coke), the Citrus Drop (which is like Mountain Dew), and the orange flavour. When we visit MS, we always head to Kroger and grab about six-eight 24 packs and bring the back to FL with us. Hey, they're a lot cheaper and they are really good! Don't judge! :D I also really like the Kroger brand smooth honey peanut butter. I always stock up on that too. I really wish we Kroger here in FL, but alas, we do not. Believe it or not, they also have some pretty awesome florists inside this grocery. I have been amazed at some of the displays I have seen and you can get them much cheaper than if you went to an actual florist. So if you're looking for flowers for your lady, stop here. The parking lot is also kept very clean and carts are kept in check. it's a nice area of town, so even in the middle of the night I feel safe. They also have their own gas station in front of the store. There's a Kroger Rewards Card and if you spend x number of dollars you get x amount off per gallon. It's a good deal and I'm sure I'd know more about the exact numbers if I lived here. Definitely check it out.

This is an awesome store. Though we don't have Kroger in St. Louis (that I know of), there's something called Ruler, which carries a lot of Kroger products. I love supermarkets in general and walking around here in the south, it's so cool to see all of the regional and local products that we can't get our hands on at home. The fresh flower section was well stocked and the choices were gorgeous. I'm thinking some of the bouquets may have been left over from Mother's Day. I saw beautiful white Gerber daisies. We got our hands on some Delta Blues grits, which I can't wait to try! The plan is to make shrimp and grits. #yum We also did the choose your own six pack deal and actually found an Anheuser-Busch product that neither of us have seen in St. Louis before. I also got a bottle of Lazy Magnolia Brewing Company southern Pecan Ale. What? Pecan Ale? Yes. Neat, well-stocked shelves and friendly people made it a great shopping experience.

Great selection. Clean and organized. Multiple staff wear their face mask below their nose and don't care.

Excellent grocery store. My wife and I love Kroger. Excellent quality of food, affordable prices, and friendly staff if you need anything. I would also venture to say that Kroger brand food items are usually (not always) just as good as name brand. The Kroger granola bars have been the only mishap I've encountered. They also have plenty of coupons available for download on the phone app.

Always clean here. The florist is always so helpful and does an amazing job putting together bouquets. I got one for my mom and she really helped bring my ideas to life with an amazing price along with it. The meat and seafood department will include the garnishes like thyme, butter and rosemary that's on display when you get a steak or seafood. They'll also steam your seafood and de-skin your salmon free of charge. As you can see, I do most of my shopping at Kroger to make my meals.

Red bananas and passion fruit. That's all I have to say.. Well, not really. I've got some things to say. This is my first Kroger visit ever and I loved it. For a bit more money than Wal-Mart, you can enjoy a variety of exotic foods, specifically fruit. Blood oranges, jackfruit, you name it. I only went in for hair dye and left with passion fruit and red bananas. We were in a hurry, so I didn't get to see the whole store, but from what I saw, it was neat and clean and had a good layout. Wasn't confusing at all. My only complaint is the self-checkout associate. It was about 11 p.m. when we stopped by and she was not into helping us. Actually, none of the people working the self-checkout area cared. Really do wish they kept the regular registers open.

A little smaller of a Kroger than most. Has most everything I need though. Lots of organic vegetables, yogurt (though it's kind of hidden by the pharmacy), flowers, pet food, Mike's hard, and frozen meals. There's a gas station out front where you can use your points. One of the parking lot exits is a little tricky to get out of; I recommend driving back to the light. Overall, good place. Very convenient as it's around so many other stores of Dogwood.

Great customer service at this store! The kids and I were shopping for a few small things when a produce guy gave us a sample of their in-store made parfaits and made sure neither kid was left out. Brightly lit, clean and helpful associates. After our bad experience at the Brandon Kroger, we're shopping here more regularly. Love the natural foods section and my wife likes to coupon so we find better prices (after coupons) than other stores, the gas savings and points for buying gift cards are bonuses.

This is a good grocery store to shop... The shelves are well-stocked... The store is clean and orderly.... The employees are friendly and helpful...If you're ever in need of any assistance, you'll never have an issue finding someone to help.... The prices are comparable to other grocery stores... This is a great store to shop at so you can avoid the crowd at Walmart...

Customer service is poor. If you need assistance finding an item or getting an item that is out of stock, you will have an issue finding an employee to help. Managers special inventory is unorganized and disgusting. Self check out clerk is not as experienced in customer satisfaction and system as previous clerk, Ronnie, was. I will not be returning to this location.

Good place to get those items that you can't find at Walmart or smaller grocery stores. I always go here when I am in town to buy food for my road trips. They have organic food and a nice selection of specialty brews. Make sure you get a Kroger card to save money on your bill.

Left my bags that I already paid. Called them and were told they cannot help me. Useless customer service staff.

Kenyatta is the worst representative ever. She had a very bad attitude and so did the manager. I am a regular customer to this Kroger. Thanks to Kenyatta and her manager for there worst customer service. Please teach some customer service to your employees - sincerely a retail employee!
