I have been wanting to visit this restaurant so much, with the old-fashioned fish sign by Gammel Strand, so I hopped to the chance when the ticket (that was otherwise sold out) to this place was available for dining week.
We got the marbled pollack with cucumber and buttermilk as a starter and hake fish with celeriac puree and kale. They were delicious. Hake fish was just in the right consistency (God forbid a fish restaurant messes up with the fish, right?) and the celeriac puree was amazing, even the kale was so tasty (Don't get me wrong, I love kale, but when they're not properly cooked, they taste like the bottom soles of a rubber sandal).
The dessert was orange sorbet with chocolate crumbles on mascarpone cream. Let's just say that orange and chocolates are my most favourite combos on earth.
The service was lovely, everything was lovely. I really want to visit this place for regular dinner service next time!
