Krowi Inn

-The hostel staff was friendly and helpful. -Great location in the southern part of the heart of Surabaya city. -The hostel provided towel for guests. -The house has garden view with fresh air in the terrace area. -The hostel didn't provide any shampoo in the shower room. So, I had to asked for it in order to wash my hair. And the staff borrow me a bottle of shampoo. Thanks very much. But, I think the hostel should provide it as the standard S.O.P. of hospitality service to their guests. -I don't like the breakfast meal: instant noodles, but I have no choice. The hostel didn't give their guests choices. While I prefer healthy food such as rice or bread with sunnyside egg or omelette.

Location was close to food options and a mini market to purchase train tickets from. The beds are comfy and the room AC was great as well. The included breakfast of noodles with a fried egg was delicious. Overall great place to pop in for a night in Surabaya!

This is the one of the best 1 star hotel I have ever been to. I didn't expect the room to be that big. Even the toilet is also quite spacious too. The room is clean with comfy beds, blankets and pillows. I also appreciate that there is a water dispenser just outside the room with cups. In addition, it can even dispense hot water as well! So that I can enjoy my Indomie noodles 😂 Another plus point is that there is a red file in the room that describes: 1. Transport to/from Krowi Inn and airport 2. A tour and itinerary of Mount Bromo and Ijen with details 3. Places to eat, visit in Surabaya This is especially thoughtful and really helps in planning what to do when in Surabaya. Free breakfast is Coffee and a favourite around the world: Indomie Mee Goreng Noodles with egg. Pretty basic but I am fine with that. One thing that I want to feedback is the lack of shampoo. It is highly recommended to provide shampoo as well and not just body soap because not everyone will bring their own. At least, doing this will help to enhance other potential tourist's experience here in Krowi Inn. To conclude, the place is fantastic and I can understand why TripAdvisor rated this place so highly. If Krowi Inn have an innkeeper that speaks basic English and provide shampoo, I will have virtually no complaints or feedback. Great place for tight budget travellers in Surabaya 👍👍👍 🇮🇩

I was impressed by their services; they responded to our enquires within a short time. We were not familiar with Indonesia, they helped us to arrange a private tour, it was a great experience. I felt they were passionate to serve guests well, and they provided advices and friendly communication.

Incredibly friendly hosts. Hassle free booking of Ijen and Bromo tours and also brought us for a mini food tour around Surabaya. It was like staying at your Uncle and Aunts house 😊. Comfy bed and nice hot shower. A needed break from backpacking.

Simple and quiet place close to the city center of Surabaya, they even help you to call for a grab teksi budget travelers will love this setup and the Wi-Fi was good too. Thank you for the short stay here. Hope to come here again the next trip to Surabaya

Rooms very clean, host very nice!! He brought us for a free tour through Surabaya and gave us really good advice for the rest of the trip! We would definitely come back here!

Nice clean establishment with friendly staff and lots of information available. The breakfast in the morning is also quite good. Would definitely stay here when in Surabaya next!
