DO NOT BOOK!! First impressions in the lobby seems like a great vacation is about to start until you go inside your room. They had a pull out coach that’s who knows when it was last time it shampooed or cleaned it. The rim on the bottom of the toilet had old layered urine. They have a split unit in the room but you have no access in changing the temperature. They tell you that it’s accessible but the room stayed feeling humid and not cool at all.The food in the buffet area downstairs is okay. We had access to all inclusive for food and drinks and ate out instead because the food they serve is more about quantity than quality. Lastly the water inside the adult pool needs to be cleaned more often. It was muggy and foggy on our stay. Staff is great and no complaints there but the resort needs a lot of work. No music and if they do play music it’s not upbeat. Overall I do not recommend it.

We had an amazing experience at Hotel Krystal Grand Los Cabos, and what truly made it stand out was the absolutely superb service from our Expedia concierge, Gabriel Avila. He genuinely made us feel like VIP guests from start to finish. It’s like having a friend at the hotel—someone you can turn to for anything you need. Whether it was questions, concerns, or just recommendations, Gabriel was always there with a warm and helpful attitude. It was such a relief to have one consistent point of contact instead of bouncing between different staff members. He truly made our stay special and comfortable. The hotel itself is fun, relaxing, and great for families. The rooms are clean and well-kept, and any small issues are addressed quickly and professionally. The buffet isn’t the best quality-wise, but there’s a wide variety of options, so you’ll always find something to eat. That said, the non-buffet restaurants offer much better food, so I highly recommend upgrading to Altitude rooms—they give you access to the higher-end dining options, which are totally worth it. Amazing views, good vibes, and excellent service—especially from Gabriel. Honestly, I’d go back just for the level of care he gave us. Highly recommend!

I recently stayed at here with my group and had one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a resort. • Check-in: We had to wait over an hour to check in, and only after repeatedly asking for help did someone finally assist us. • Dinner service: At our 8:50pm dinner reservation, no one came to take our order until we had to call someone over. Despite saying “excuse me” multiple times, our server blatantly ignored us. We even had to get up twice to find help. When our food finally arrived at 10:15pm—near closing—it turned out our sushi roll had been sitting on the counter the entire time, yet no one brought it to us until we asked. • Safety hazard: Most alarming, both my boyfriend and I were electrocuted by the bathroom mirror lighting fixture when using it. This is not only unacceptable but extremely dangerous for guests. I filed a formal complaint with the hotel and also informed them about the electrocution incident. Their response was dismissive, and the only “compensation” offered was a $40 coupon, which does not reflect the seriousness of the situation or the risks involved. This was supposed to be a relaxing all-inclusive vacation, but instead it was full of neglect, poor service, and unsafe conditions. I cannot recommend this hotel, and I strongly urge management to take guest safety more seriously.

The hotel is in a very good location, but it doesn’t have enough staff. The snack bar staff is not good because they take too long to give you the food. I understand that a burger needs time to be prepared, but here it takes more than half an hour, while in other hotels it is faster. The buffet menu is always the same and it doesn’t change every day. The drinks are made with poor quality. They also charge you a tax of 80 pesos per night for cleaning service in the room, which I think should already be included in the stay. There is not much entertainment, and the entertainment staff is not well prepared. The waiter Ulises Hernández is indifferent with the guests. The hotel even charges you for the beds that are next to the pool. All these things made my experience at the Cristal Grand Hotel unpleasant.

One of the worst experiences of my life. When we first got there, the receptionists were nothing but rude. We had paid for a room and they wanted to downgrade us to a cheaper room since there was no "availability". They also took our luggage out of the room multiple times and refused to clean our room since it was past our reservation( which it was not the case). They also wanted us to pay extra money just because. His name is Roberto and it honestly felt like he wanted to pocket the money for himself. It came to the point that his manager had to get involved and saw he wanted to overcharge us. ||To add on, the bartenders in the lobby often gave unpleasant faces as if they were forced to serve you a drink. It felt like you had to apologize to them for asking them to give you a water or a drink. It made the experience really awful. ||The food from the buffet was not good too and it was very limited. However, the staff were accommodating and the service in the buffet was pretty okay. ||There were some staff such as Urias and Cesar who made the stay in this hotel a little more pleasant. They were nothing but good and attentive individuals who took care of you. ||Thus, my conclusion will be to avoid this place at all cost. It is simply not worth the money or the headache you will have when you get there.||I cannot stress this enough, PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE !

I spent most of my days at the swim up bar with a very large group. Pedro was a great bartender. He handled busy and noisy crowds with ease. Julian was an exceptional waiter! He was attentive, calm, pleasant, and handled a large crowd very well especially compared to the other waiters at the swim up bar that weren’t as quick or easy to deal with. With Julian, our drinks were never empty and he kept up with the large crowd I was travelling with. He served the larger pool area as well and we were never waiting on him. Our experience at Krystal Grand wouldn't have been as pleasant without Pedro and Julian.

Our American Airlines flight from Cabo to Phoenix was delayed (cancelled) so, the airline put everyone up here. Granted the staff was friendly, I WOULD NEVER EVER stay in a place like this. The rooms on the bottom floors may have gone through renovation; different doors than the upper floors. The online pics MUST be for the renovated rooms (expected). On our way to the room the hallways and elevator wreaked of cigarette smoke. Our room was awful. The stove was on when we walked in; huge flag. It was also dirty. The fridge wasn’t clean on the inside. There weren’t any towels. The door that connects the room next door was open, and someone else we didn’t know was entering. The room was so stuffy and muggy; the ac wasn’t on at all. I turned it on and we coughed all night. Ugh! The bathroom was disgusting. Hair on the floor and shower floor. I always clean before I settle and what I cleaned meant that they do a half job when they clean. The buffet (it was supposedly all-inclusive) was supposed to open at 6 but didn’t until 6:30. The food was tasteless to say the least. We made plates but, got up and walked out. Owners of places like this should come and stay here themselves. You definitely get what you pay for and am glad this wasn’t on my dollar. It is more of a kid spot due to all of the screaming children in the pool.

Although this hotel may need some maintenance, the staff and the service was always cordial, friendly and promptly. You are not getting Michelin style dinners, but you are also not paying for them. Some dishes are good and so not so much. The beds are super comfy and the accommodations are simple but comfortable. For kids is great, our daughter loved the little water park pool area and some activities.

Yelp
This resort rating is going to be mostly on the food, but the service level with pool saved the rating to a 3 star. I've stayed at a lot of all inclusives, but in my opinion the worst out of the all inclusive resorts for food. Is it edible? Yes, but it's not great and even below average for most of the restaurants. Be prepared to venture out to try new places for food. I spent 6 days here and most of the food I have a dislike for. However, here is a list of the better items: 1. Fish tacos at pool bar 2. Made to order egg omelette at Buffet 3. Pork and potato dish/stew at Buffet 4. Pork Pozole at Buffet 5. Chicken Fajitas from room service 6. Beef Osso Bucco at Italian Restaurant 7. Fruit at Buffet 8. Spicy tuna roll at Asian Restaurant 9. Sometimes the pasta from Buffet 10. Refried beans from Buffet I would say those are the better items and other things are all hit and miss. I've had so many unfinished dishes and I hate leaving food behind. Stay away from: 1. Steak at O Grill (tough and hard to eat) 2. Hollandaise sauces (skill level or they don't know how to make it) 3. Mussels at the Buffet (unless you arrive when they reopen or else it's disgusting and rubbery) 4. Ramen from Asian restaurant (not even close to any ramen at all) 5. Most of the items at Buffet at hit and miss My tip would be to visit the buffet when it opens because the food is freshest. I will however say I've encountered some really incredible staff who made the stay a wonderful vacation. The pool is beautiful and there's plenty of seats. Cabanas can be rented. The rooms can be dated with the AC being too loud and toilet not flushing properly so I would suggest paying a bit more for the Altitude Rooms. The Altitude Rooms a big bigger and everything is newer. The view is stunning.

Yelp
Avoid the Kristal Grand in Cabo at All Costs I had the misfortune of staying at the Kristal Grand resort in Cabo, and it was one of the worst travel experiences I've ever had. To say this place is a disappointment would be an understatement. Let me break it down: 1. Filthy Rooms The rooms look NOTHING like the photos on their website or Expedia. What you see online is pure deception. The room I was given was dirty, with stained bedding, hair in the bathroom, and a musty odor that wouldn't go away no matter how much we aired it out. The furniture was old, chipped, and worn out, and the overall cleanliness was abysmal. Housekeeping barely did the bare minimum despite repeated complaints. 2. Inedible Food The food at this resort is an insult to your taste buds. The buffet was full of stale, lukewarm options that seemed like they'd been sitting out for hours. The à la carte restaurants weren't any better--undercooked meats, bland sauces, and meals that left me questioning if they had a trained chef on staff. I ended up eating off-site just to avoid getting sick. 3. Dishonest and Rude Staff The staff here are completely untrustworthy. They will tell you one thing and do the complete opposite. I was promised certain amenities (like a room upgrade, transportation, or restaurant reservations), but none of it was honored. When I confronted them, they either pretended not to understand or gave vague excuses. It's clear they don't care about customer satisfaction. 4. Good Reviews on Expedia and Yelp Are Misleading Do NOT trust the glowing reviews on Expedia or other booking sites. I'm convinced they are either fake or left by people with extremely low standards. My experience was so far removed from the "luxury" advertised, it felt like false advertising on every level. Final Warning: Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this resort. Spend your money somewhere else--anywhere else. This place is not worth the frustration, stress, or disappointment. If I could give it zero stars, I would.

Yelp
Stiff neck and 3am trash hauling with good food and convenient location. I assumed a "garden view" room would be cheaper since it didn't have a pool or ocean view. The website photos all looked the same, so I thought, "We'll mostly be at the pool or out enjoying Cabo; no need to pay extra for the view." Well... I was wrong. Our "garden view" room faced the hotel's border wall and the service path where trash cans are hauled out at 3 a.m. Fine, I thought, we're only sleeping and showering here. But the room itself was disappointing. They squeezed two small queen beds into a space clearly meant for one, shoving one bed against the kitchenette wall, which blocked some cabinets. Normally, two queen beds are fine for my wife and two small kids--we do it all the time--but this setup didn't work. My 5-year-old and I couldn't comfortably fit on the bed. Speaking of beds, they were hard as a rock, and the pillows were barely thicker than a phone book. When we checked in, we were told the rooms are cleaned daily. Not quite. We had to ask at the end of each day for our room to be cleaned and for fresh towels so we could shower before dinner. On the second day, they skipped cleaning entirely and just dropped towels at the door. It wasn't all bad, though--just the "garden view" rooms. The pool was fine (old towels and flat lounges but the kids had fun and we all have tan lines), and most of the food was good (avoid the grill--it's gross). The sushi restaurant and buffet were excellent, with fresh food constantly coming out. I loved the location, too. It's close to Cabo San Jose, and you can walk to Zippers surf break, which was a big plus for me. We even made friends with another family who got moved to a standard room after some issues. My wife checked it out and said it looked just like the photos online--spacious, nice beds, and far better than ours. All in all, I'd stay here again, but I'd make sure to request a garden room away from the service entrance. For the price, even upgrading would still be worth it. I'm giving three stars because our room sucked, and I'm heading home with a stiff neck. If we stay again, I'll update my review.

Yelp
The place was horrible, even though I went on an practically free trip with a timeshare seminar. I'm so disappointed of myself for letting me make this option and then on top of that I upgraded my room for 400 more dollars which was a much smaller room with double bed no working heater no phone, dead batteries in the light and ceiling fan no chairs to sit on so we had to enjoy our meals while sitting in bed, no chairs on balcony like what the heck I really wanna complete refund hundred percent

Yelp
I was leaning over giving this place a 1 star. The other reviews before mine does not lie. Resort looks beautiful in the pictures. Check-in took forever and a long process especially if you have more than one room. Front desk checked us but barely goes over the amenities offered. Instead you have a paper to refer by. Received keys which happened to be to another family members room and ended up going back down to get the right keys only to find out the family members keys were deactivated so they had to go down and reactivate it for their rooms. You have to do your research and just learn about the resort otherwise you will miss out on what they have to offer and where certain places are because the front desk or concierge wont be much help. Most of them dont speak english and it was hard enough to request for toilet paper. Rooms are mediocre decent and nothing compared to the photos online. Our fridge didnt work and the tiles were broken so I had to call that in to report so they wouldnt think we caused it. Fridge didnt work at all and mini bar is consisted of what 5 drinks? Oh and they charge you extra if you want it refilled more than once each day. On top of that the toilet pressure is very low so expect to have a maintainence by your side if you are planning to do #2! In room dining options sounds delicious on the paper but honestly really disgusting. You can tell the wings were frozen and the food taste not that great. Dessert was disgusting tossed away as they were very dry and hard. Restaurants are decent at its best. Most staff do not understand english so it would be ideal to have someone who speaks spanish come with you on the trip. Oh also you have to come early morning to make reservations on a day to day basis, mind you there is a long line every morning even on a sunday monday. On the bright side you are on the beach. Drinks are watered down completely and most seats outside are taken. Would I come back here? No. Would I recommend it? No unless you are okay settling with the flaws mentioned above. Now that I think about Im actually going to rate this a 1 star.

Yelp
To preface, this was a girls relaxation getaway, we were not looking to party/turn up but even if we were, this would not have been the place. Okay with that being said, this is going to be a little lengthy but bear with me... 1st- the beach is great, BUT be careful, the waves are vicious 8.5/10. Go into the ocean water at your own risk! And the sand gets very hot during the day, go early in the morning or after sunset, or just brave the hot sand. Great place to watch the sunrise and sunset. The hotel does not offer any water activities due to this. 2nd- the staff, excellent, very nice and welcoming 10/10. Yolanda in the main pool bar area was wonderful! Yolanda coordinated us getting pool chairs for inside the pool with the help of Victor and Herminio. Thank you to the staff for doing this! Julian at the adult only pool bar, great! Juan, operations manager, was very personable. He gave us a tour of the property and we were able to provide our feedback on various things. DJ Neftalí was pretty good, he took our suggestions and took requests. Raymundo in the lobby/check in area was nice and made sure we had everything we needed. 3rd- the food, ehhh. It was hit or miss, like a 6.5/10. Breakfast and lunch were pretty basic but gets the job done. Dinner you have 4-5 options to choose from. But they're not all open every night so you'll have to check the daily schedule to see what's open. The best restaurant was the Italian one (Risotto). The Asian restaurant (ayuami) could be the best but when I went it seemed really chaotic (servers seemed to be rushing, took 45mins to get a drink and another 30mins to get our food). Once the food finally was done (hibachi style) it was good. The hibachi cook was extremely animated but had to do other things that hindered his ability to cook. The Mexican restaurant (la mortero) left ALOT to be desired. For this to be Mexico and to have a Mexican restaurant, it wasn't giving what it should have gave IYKYK. The coffee bar was nice with access to little snacks (muffins and ice cream). The main pool bar also had food options: hot dogs, hamburgers, fish tacos, mini chicken quesadillas, chips n guacamole, and nachos. Def was a lunch staple for us. Feedback: - more access to drinking water, maybe have water stations - the music playing was putting us to sleep, luckily we had a speaker to lay our own music. Need more lively music - open the bars earlier and keep them open later, 10am is late to open and 6p is too early to close - update the daily news to capture accurate information on the restaurants that are open/closed and maybe include the restaurant menus. We went to a restaurant only to find out it was closed that day. - need more nighttime activities for adults All in all, this is a nice resort but more for families/couples. But close proximity to things to do like excursions or downtown. The friendly staff definitely made the trip enjoyable Thanks KG

Yelp
Resort is not bad , rooms are little outdated , food is hit or miss , our rooms ac kinda stop working almost through end of our stay

Yelp
So we stayed with our family and got a couple rooms. We enjoyed SOME of the things. The pools were nice, but the workout room was pathetic to say the least. The room was ok but to get reservations for restaurants that ARE INCLUDED, you have to wait in line each morning to get on the list for that evening. The food was good but the wait each morning was very frustrating. When we left to check out, they said you have to turn your keys in or they charge you. We had to wait 45 minutes to check out and almost missed our flight. THEN THEY DID charge us for the card keys we turned in and would not credit us back. SO FRUSTRATING. We will not be going back and really don't recommend to people going to Cabo looking for an all inclusive.

Yelp
My husband and I visited this resort this past week from Sunday July 28th, through Wednesday, July 31st, 2024. We had an overall great experience. We upgraded our room to an Altitude member room and it was definitely worth it. We ended up with a front ocean view room. We got access to the rooftop bar that includes amazing signature drinks. We were able to eat at the altitude restaurants that not all guests have access to. The service was outstanding and the staff was very attentive. I definitely want to give a big shout out to the following crew members that took care of us during our stay. Victor in poolside service went above and beyond to take care of us. He must have noticed we were a little too tipsy and ended up bringing us some guacamole and chips, tacos, waters and electrolytes with us not even requesting. It sure helped us sober up. Yolanda took care of us at the family pool and she was amazing and very attentive. Marcella took care of us at the grill restaurant for breakfast. She was outstanding and very informative to our food choices. Brisa, thank you so much for my little birthday gift. I highly recommend this resort.

Yelp
When you pay for ALL INCLUSIVE but only can go to certain bars or restaurants at certain times. THAT IS NOT RUN OF THE HOUSE! You have limited access unless you pay to upgrade -NO BUENO! When I stay at a ALL INCLUSIVE RESORT I have been able to get TOP SHELF LIQUOR AND EAT WHEREVER WHENEVER! It was a constant pay to upgrade or go attend a timeshare/vacation club 90 minute presentation. I received 2 day voucher for Cabana and was Harassed by Birza and another female employee to pay $88 after being escorted to cabana of my choice by Angel the Pool Concierge. They still harassed my partner while I went to the hotel front desk to speak with someone. I gave it 2 stars cause resort was Clean! Other than that I don't recommend coming here! Other employees were nice also.

Yelp
Don't be deceived by the name. There's nothing grand about this hotel. First, if you book the garden view room, they take you to another building called the "Bel Air Building" which is a 4 story OLD hotel they are including as part of the "Grand Krystal". None of the pictures you find online include this building, which has a separate entrance and elevators (which were disgustingly dirty). We had to pay extra to be stay at the regular larger hotel which has a bit of a bigger room. The rooms are old and gross (couch from the 70's). The drinks are disgusting, food was mediocre (at best).

Yelp
Beautiful resort. I've been twice so far this year and have no complaints. The food is great. The drinks are strong and I definitely enjoyed my fair share. The staff is tentative and polite. I was extremely pleased with our room selection both times. I'm very easy to please. I'd pick this resort over a "top of the line 5Star" anytime.

Yelp
This Resort is a Filthy place to Stay. Cock roaches all in the room. Service was terrible. No Adult Services or Activities. All bars at pool side close at 5:30 pm. Buffet served the same thing everyday that didn't have any appealing taste.

Yelp
Wife booked Krystal Grand for us, and I trusted her decision with no complaints. The views are amazing. Having been to Cancun all-inclusive resorts several times, I have something to compare this resort with. I'm satisfied with our stay here with hardly any complaints. First time I catch a good buzz with the drinks at a Mexican resort. The food was decent with good fast service. I was impressed with the Japanese restaurant (reserve the grill side tepanyaki you will enjoy it) through the hotel website on the qr code on your door key) the food was delicious try the sake mousse for desert! They have a cool cafe that opens at 6 am. and closes after 10 pm. I enjoyed the pools that looked amazing, felt peaceful and had chill zen like vibes had to be the hidden speaker pumping chill viking music.. After our stay, I looked at other Yelp reviews, and I gotta say to the pessimists who wrote them this is México do yourself a favor and stay your entitled ass at home or go to Hyatt where you belong! What are you doing wasting your time inspecting broken tiles and chipped paint? How anal are you? You must be loads of fun at parties Friendly staff, very clean throughout quiet and peaceful. Loved the on-site souvenir vendors by the pool. Very convenient. I had a nice time

Yelp
I usually don't write reviews but I wanted to share our own opinion and experience with all the bad reviews here. We loved our stay at Krystal Grand and had an amazing time. It was our first time in Cabo so we cannot compare to the other resorts and we went the first week of September which is not as crowded as July and August. Staff: except for one not very sympathetic server, staff was very friendly and they do speak English. One thing to have in mind is that service here is slow. Food: we really enjoyed the food, the buffet had a variety of choices and we liked most of the dishes we tried. We didn't try all the restaurants as it was easier for us to go to the buffet with our young childrens but we tried Risotto and the Mexican restaurant and it was quite good. Portions are small but still enough. Maybe not fine dining but still of good quality. Food from the pool bar is all right, kids did enjoy the fries, nachos and pizzas. Drinks: cocktails from the pool bar are not the best, Tecate and Indio beers were good and so were the wine we tried at the restaurants. Rodrigo was a great pool server always bringing us more drinks! Kids club: our 5 years old went there twice and was the only kid there, although he would have preferred to meet other kids, he did enjoy the activities with Tania who made sure he was having a great time. Pools: we chose to stay here because of the pictures we saw and were not disappointed, pools are amazing! We didn't go to the adults only pool because of our kids but it did look nice. Room: we had a deluxe standard room in the main building where there's the reception with view on the pools and ocean. The room was basic and could use some renovation but was still okay and clean. I didn't see any cockroach that some have mentioned in other reviews. There is just soap and a small bottle of shampoo and no hair dryer, but there was an iron and ironing board. Location: the hotel is closed to the freeway with not many things around to do. Noise: you can hear traffic when walking in the corridor to your room but not once you are inside. The music can be pretty loud by the pool, especially when there are activities like aquagym... There were a few evenings with special activities and loud music. Check-in and check out: we arrived just after 12pm and the room was ready so they let us check in early which was great as we were able to enjoy our stay right away. Yes, you have to wear a wristband all the time and they will charge you if you lose it. Check out was fast without any issue and they did let us keep the wristbands until last minute so we could order drinks waiting for our ride to the airport. Time share presentation: that's my only complaint, after check in we were sent to another desk where someone showed us a map of the resort and some activities they could organize for us. We told them we interested in scuba diving for myself and they said they could get us a great discount, to leave a $20 cash deposit and to come back the day after to finalize the booking. After seeing the receipt for the "Bel-Air owners circle", I told my husband to cancel and get the deposit back. So my husband came back alone the day after and he was told that all family members (which includes 2 kids, 2 and 5 years old)had to come and watch a 90 minutes presentation!!! We refused and got our $20 back but it was something that we would have preferred not to have to deal with. Another small negative point is that it would be great if the hotel could advertise more clearly about the activities offered and the restaurants operating hours. If you are looking for a luxurious resort and experience I would not say this is the place for you but if you are looking for a good deal you might be pleasantly surprised. In the end, we loved our vacation here, the negative points being only minors details compared to other all good aspects.

Yelp
This is the Motel 6 of "all-inclusive" resorts. Pros- staff, rooms were clean and updated enough, beautiful beach (but you can't swim on it. Cons-literally everything else. Poor food choices and those there was, were gross. Facilities not clean and/or damaged. Sour smells outside buildings. Only beer was Tecate. Limited bottled water inroom and would not give at bar or lobby. Next to busy highway. Pools closed at 8pm?! Not really, all inclusive. Very limited with lots of extra charges.

Yelp
The absolute worst all inclusive resort! There are 100 other places to stay besides this one and I should've checked the yelp reviews before I made my reservation. Their website makes this resort look beautiful and grand and it is really not . In short the food is bad and all the restaurants and the buffet area closes at 10 PM. There's nothing to eat past 10 PM on the whole property. some restaurants are only open on certain days so you don't have many options. the portion size of food at the adult pool is ridiculously small. if you want ice cream you have to pay for it. It's not a part of the all inclusive. The lobby gift shop is 100xmarked up. I paid $10 for an 8oz. Red Bull, Tylenol was $27 and spray sunscreen is $38. The rooms were small and the handle on the showerhead broke. The adult pool is dead and quiet while the family pool has a DJ and music. Worst of all their amenities are based on the type of room you reserved. For example, we had a yellow wristband and somebody else had a blue wristband the blue wristbands you're able to drink Don Julio if you had a yellow wristband, you could not get that type of liquor at the same place, which of course they don't tell you when you make your reservation. It's just a horrible experience all around don't go to this hotel.

Yelp
Literally zero problems. I'm not sure why everyone hates this place. Esmeralda was so sweet and helpful with check in. Ramon was super helpful when showing us around. Everyone is friendly and says hello. The room is great. Very clean, good smelling soap and towels. We are here for our honeymoon and the reviews made me so terrified and anxious. Literally, I see nothing wrong here. Good drinks at the bar, no issues with service or checking in. There's a safe in our room. I don't get the hate. It makes me really sad for these workers. We cannot swim in the ocean but that's okay, there's a beach not too far away we can go to. I am trying to speak Spanish which is super helpful as I am in a Spanish speaking country ;) we ate at the bar and the food was fast, drinks were fast. Only real complaint is we cannot walk anywhere as it seems we are right on a little highway/state route road. Oh and the air conditioner works very well but I can't see the temp I've set it too, just what the room temp currently is.

Yelp
We really enjoyed ourselves at this resort! The customer service was excellent! The resort we good and the service there was food as well. I will say that the staff is somewhat late back but they make sure things are done correctly. The drinks were ok but I have had better drinks. The resort is very clean and well kept. I think they need to clean their furniture (sofa) but other than that no complaints about the room or resort. The guy at the front desk upgraded our room to an ocean view which was awesome. However, we ended up with two full sized beds instead of the king bed we paid for so that was a little disappointing. But all on all it was a really nice location and very affordable. Oh, they also asked us to do a tour and sit through a presentation and we did not. They have on-site FREE vivid testing if you stay three days! Please feel free to reach out to me if yoy have questions! Enjoy

Yelp
I recently stayed at the Krystal Grand Hotel and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. Here's a breakdown of the various issues I encountered during my stay: 1. Unpleasant Odor: Upon entering the hotel, a strong sewage smell engulfed the premises, creating an immediate negative impression. It was a major turn-off and greatly affected the overall atmosphere. 2. Limited Pool Space: The pool area was cramped, and there was a serious lack of available loungers and seating. I felt as if they were forcing me to pay $80/day for the seating which included shade and cushion. This made it difficult to relax and enjoy the pool, adding to the disappointment. They also blocked off most of the seating for most of the day which was extremely frustrating. 3. Slow Food Service: The restaurant's food service was unacceptably slow. Waiting an extended period for my meal to be prepared became frustrating, especially after a long day of travel or sightseeing. The restaurants and bars also close at 9:45pm every night including weekends so waiting for the food was the activity for the night. 4. Theft and Counterfeit Currency: To my utter disbelief, I discovered that two $50 bills were stolen from my room, only to be replaced with a counterfeit $100 bill. This incident indicates a serious breach of security and lack of integrity within the hotel's staff. The hotel staff was not accommodating and did not take any responsibility which is a huge red flag. The hotel itself was also non refundable which makes me feel as if the entire resort is a scam. 5. Poor Room Maintenance: The room I was assigned was not properly maintained. The blinds were broken, failing to provide adequate privacy and light control. It was a noticeable detail that affected the comfort and overall experience. There was also COCKROACHES in the bathroom. The toilet didn't flush properly either. 6. Pool Tiles in Disrepair: Another safety concern was the presence of falling tiles around the pool area. This not only posed a hazard to guests but also reflected the hotel's lack of attention to maintenance and safety standards. There was also a light dangling in the pool which was a significant safety concern that the staff did not do anything about. One of the managers even told me "I know this place isn't maintained" after I told her about the safety risks and hazards, therefore they clearly know the issues and process not to do anything about it. This shows overall lack of care and concern for the guests safety yet again. 7. Difficulty in Restaurant Reservations: Making reservations at the hotel's restaurant proved to be a hassle, and had to be done only between the times of 11am-3pm, but even if you made reservations right at 11 most weren't available. This was very disappointing to say the least considering I wasn't able to eat at the hotel forcing me to spend money outside or the hotel even though it is an "all inclusive". The process was unnecessarily complicated, causing frustration and inconvenience for guests, and other guests that I spoke to had the same experience. Overall, my stay at Krystal Grand left much to be desired. The overwhelming sewage odor, insufficient pool space, slow food service, theft, counterfeit currency, room maintenance issues, falling pool tiles, and challenging restaurant reservations were all major drawbacks. I cannot recommend this hotel to others until significant improvements are made across all areas of service and management.

Yelp
We were surprised how different the pictures on the websites (Google, TripAdvisor, Booking) vs reality. If you have a high expectation, this is no the place to go. We paid $750 a night and expected more (high season) - Not friendly service - Dirty floors - Everything seems old and worn out - Many things not working - Too many staff, however not a good service - We ate at the restaurants only twice during our 5 days stay, won't comment it - ATMs out of service - Good view of the ocean but you can't swim in there, they ask you to sign papers that's not allowed during a check in - Goof view from the swimming pool

Yelp
Horrible service, and the worst, they wasted a whole day trying to get us a room. My friend and I ordered two beds and paid for them, and they told us that even if we paid, There was a possibility that we might not get two beds, and that was the case. For us. to read, the fine print did not make sense. They took us to a room with one large bed at the end of the facility, which was very noisy. There was a very commercial road, very noisy, and a dirty old couch. It was unacceptable; it wasn't the right area where we had paid for it. It was a different part of the hotel.

Yelp
This hotel is very quaint with wonderful people. Plenty of food options, we highly recommend the hibachi grill! The Italian restaurant also brought an excellent ambience and food. There were plenty of chairs in the sun, and in the shade, and the grounds were nicely maintained. The entertainment crew is always fun and inviting. The location was really easy to get to and there was plenty of shopping within five minutes. We loved staying here!

Yelp
Sucks period. Staff is unfriendly. Don't come here unless you're desperate. Ny steak tough and stringy. Short ribs skewers had about literally 3 small pieces of meat one of the pieces was all fat, that I guess was supposed to be short rib. Asian restaurant staff was rude and unfriendly. Guacamole was good.

Yelp
We spent 5 nights here. We won it at a charity auction, so the hotel wasn't really our choice. It was our first time in Cabo, but we've been to many other places in Mexico. Our room was in the "residence" tower which is the furthest from the main lobby, but closer to the adult pool. Food: Not great. Food at all inclusive resorts are never amazing, but, this was still sub par compared to other all inclusive resorts. The breakfast buffet most of the food was luke warm and frequently the pans were empty. They always seemed understaffed, so getting drinks (even water and coffee) was slow and difficult. The chilaquiles were pretty good, and there was an omellette station if you were OK waiting in line. For lunch we ate at the surfos snack bar, the best food on the resort was the fish tacos and the guacamole at surfos. For dinner you had to go make a reservation near the lobby every day at 9am. If you weren't there early, you were unlikely to get a reservation, particularly a reso at a time and location you wanted. Since you had to be at the resort to make the reservavation on the same day, when we went out for the day, we were unable to make a reservation and our only dinner option was the buffet. The dinner buffet was terrible. The food again was luke warm. The salad bar was basically just lettuce and dressing. The desserts were no good. We decided to skip buffet dinner and pay to eat off resort when we weren't able to get a reservation. We did manage to get reservations for The Grill and the mexican restaurant. The food at the grill was actually above average. But the portions were tiny, and dessert was the same stuff as the buffet. The mexican place the food was on par with a medicre american mexican restaurant. Underseasoned and over sauced, but way better than the buffet. Drinks: This is a budget resort, so nothing was top shelf. But it wasn't terrible. They had bicardi and captain morgan for rum. Their default tequila was 100 Anos but we preferred the Jimador Blanco. The beer choices were Tecate and Indio. The lobby bar often had a line around checkout time but otherwise we never hard to wait to get a drink. The mini-fridge in the room has soda and beer that's included, but only restocked once a day, so i wouldn't count on drinking too much from there. Pools: There's two pool areas: the family friendly pool and the adults only pool. We spent almost all our time at the adult pool. The family pool has pretty good shades around the chairs, the adult pool has less shade bus has some umbrellas. Like most other resorts, the chairs are all claimed by breakfast (at both pools), we don't like playing that game so we just threw our stuff on a patch of grass and got in the pool. Sometimes in the afternoon there'd be some chair openings. The adult pool has an in pool bar and had 1 guy walking around serving drinks. Never had a wait for drinks at the pool bar. Both guys working the pool bar were awesome (shoutout to Pedro!) If you're hoping for someone to bring you a drink, it might be a little slow depending on the time of day. They have 2 hot tubs at the adult pool! The chairs were more popular than the pool and hot tubs, so we had no problem getting a spot in the hot tub the entire time we were there. Location: This resort is a little further from town than a lot of other resorts, but it still has a few restaurants and shops within walking distance and it's a short uber ride to town. Timeshare/VIP up-sell: like most resorts, the second you walk in the door, they're trying to up-sell you on something. Here it was especially bad because it was almot an hour long line to check in?!?!? Honestly I wasn't sure what they were trying to sell me, but we listened to his 5 minute thing about the resort and then we took off. We spoke to other couples who agreed to hear the pitch at breakfast and greatly regretted it. The 90 minute sales pitch turned into 3 hours and they felt like they were trapped, some said the sales person got real angry and aggressive. So I advise you to skip that, it's not worth whatever free/discount activities they're offering. Overall I probably wouldn't stay here again, mostly because the negatives in the food I mentioned. But if the price is right for you and you're not really a foodie, you might still enjoy this place.

Claudia O.

Yelp
Horrible is truly an understatement. The AC in our room wasn't working since the moment we walked into our room. We were switched to 3 different rooms and to our luck, they were all not working. We paid for an all inclusive stay, when we settled down in the room, there was only a water bottle in the fridge. We called to get the fridge stocked up and we were told that there was an additional cost for that. We were given a room with double beds since they weren't able to accommodate us to a one bed room due to the availability (clearly not what we paid nor signed up for). The rooms had a filthy smell, definitely not what we expected. Would never go back.

Yelp
Mathis place has so much to offer but does such a crappy job! The place is pretty but you can't go to the beach. The water is warm as to be expected with the heat and humidity. What makes me dislike this place immensely is the temperature of the rooms. We are in room 2301 and it is hot as hell. I've requested a fan so many times and they keep telling me one is not available. The room says it's set at 25 degrees Celsius and it feels like a sauna. I am sweating! The activities team is amazing. Amazing! My hotel room is super clean everyday. Those are the only two good things I will say about this place. The staff in all of the waitressing positions are so sad or angry looking. Asking them for anything seems like we are asking for much more than just a glass of water or coffee. The food at the grill was small in portion and the meat seemed like it was the meat that they give to animals. WINE LOVERS!!!! They don't have wine. They have grapes that are rotten and squished into juice. We bought our own. There's so much more But overall our basic needs were not met and we will not stay here again.

Yelp
This place is terrible. DO NOT come here! Staying here completely ruined our trip. All inclusive? You don't have the option other than choosing from (4) options at the bar for a couple hours during the day. (Hot dogs and hamburger) The food in the restaurants when you can actually get in is just awful. The food is so horrible that we had to leave the resort to eat most of our meals. NOT INCLUSIVE if the food is not edible. Only (1) beer at a time was ever available. Indio or Tecate lite. THAT'S IT. We purchased our own alcohol and brought it back. My husband was cut twice by the broken tiles in the pool. (See Photos) There was blood everywhere. What a huge liability. Do not let your kids in these pools. The staff is constantly annoyed if you ask questions or order a drink ect. This place is the "Motel 6" of "resorts". Beach is not swimmable so if you want anytime at the beach, you will have to travel.

Aurora V.

Yelp
So loud, right off highway. Resort pictures are misleading. Doors and access is NOT secure. Received one bar of soap and a small, tiny bottle of shampoo.

Yelp
This place is absolutely horrible. The food and rooms are terrible. Every single drink is watered down and the food gave my girlfriend and I food poisoning. Stay very far away. ZERO STARS would give a negative if I could

Yelp
Not sure why I hadn't posted a review of this resort since this was awhile ago. The memories are still pretty fresh though... Upon entrance to this resort you brace yourself for a glorious time filled with food, fun, and drinks! Not so much. The food was pretty mediocre, the fun was nowhere to be found, and the drinks were just okay. I probably would stay here again as a last choice but certainly not seeking it out again. The rooms needed some TLC as well. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience but it wasn't a great one either.

Yelp
Hotel has some differences then advertised. No fridge in our room. When we asked for one they said, sorry. Had to go buy one for $197 US dollars at Walmart. Pools & hot tubs are freezing. You have to wait in line every day to get a reservation for dinner (if you miss the window due to an excursion, you have to eat at the Buffett). Room was cleaned after 4pm every day. Chairs at the pool are all taken by 8am. Our room was advertised with a table as a "suite". There is no table & the room is very small. Love Cabo & have been here many time, will never stay here again.

Yelp
If I could do ZERO star. I would. This place sucks. After we check in, we were told to wear these stupid bracelet at all time. If we lose the bracelet then it will be $125 per person and that is $125 US dollars. Then we were directed to a "Time share" that they say is not a time share. We were pressure to participate and it will only cost $20 US dollars. Which we had to be super adamant that we do not what to participate. When we got to our room, it was not the one with Ocean front where you can hear the ocean. More like hear the noise of people's swimming until 10pm then you can barely hear the ocean. When we heard the restaurant had no reservations require. We were super happy to hear that but that was Too good to be true. All restaurants serve all portion super small. More like tasting Plates. There were a lot of mosquito too For Rosoto. we try to find the "do not disturb" sign in our room to which Krystal Grand does not have. The beds were not so great either. The next day we went to swim and call the front desk to which no one answer. We wanted to ask if they have a "do not disturb@ sign. With a heavy heart, we went to stay at the swimming pool to try and reserve a spot since the buffets sucks. they did not have many options either. The servants sucks too. so don't even bother giving them any tips. They don't deserve it. We left my son's tablet in the room to charge and it was sitting on the bed, when we came back to the room, the tablet had crack screen. when I came to the room my self, I did not lock the door. Because I thought since the bed was already made and the mini bar was stock too. had the restroom door crack open, completely naked and was washing between my legs when. Heard a knock. I scream, " taking a shower" to which I heard the door open and a male person came in and saw everything. I scream so loud. After shower I call the front desk and the lady at the front desk just transfer me to valet. Like "WTF!!!!" valet answer and was like you reach valet. I was like wtf. Someone just came into my room and I want to know why. Was there a reason. Did you guys forget to do something? after a lot of discussion, I saw the room services lady outside and had my spanish speaking friend translate. The room services lady says it could be for the mini bar. I was like ok. I ask my friend to translate if they can give us a "do not disturb" sign to which she brought it over. This happened at 2pm and there was no water in our mini bar. we had to call 2 times and the lady at the front says they are coming. After I spoke to valet, the security came by and I wanted to ask them why they came to my room to which security does not know. Security inform me that it was my fault for not having a " do not disturb" sign out on my door. to which I reply to security, why don't you have one in the room. As for the water we did not get any water until 6:30pm and they only brought 4 water bottle. When we first arrived at the hotel, our mini bar had water and soda. But they only brought 4 water bottle. The hotel charges $2.50 if you ask for anything or if they forget to stock anything in the room and you call to ask them to bring it, you will be charge the service fee. the lady did not stock our toilet paper and we had to pay for that too. the front desk don't pick up any called after 7pm too. This place sucks. Do not waste your time or money here. You can not swim at the ocean either. Take that money somewhere else. This place sucks ass and it is only our 2nd day.

Yelp
Probably one of my worst hotel experiences I've ever had. I would steer clear from this place if you're thinking of going to Cabo. First off- the staff is HORRIBLE. I mean roll their eyes at you horrible. When we first got here, they told us our rooms weren't available yet, and gave us a room until after 5pm. So we had to wait in the lobby for hours. Now the rooms- not clean. We were a big group and they were all super inconsistent. Some didn't even have towels, soaps, toilet paper, etc: which we had to complain to the front desk so they changed our rooms. The tvs were all different sizes- some didn't even work/turn on. The drinks were all disgusting and extremely watered down. Even the ice cream tasted watered down?? The food at the O buffet was the definition of a 5/10. Most food always ran out so we were stuck with the smallest options. Now the restaurants- also horrible. It took staff over an hour and a half to get our food out. Which turned out to be extremely dry and disgusting. One steak was rare and another was extremely well done and super chewy. As for room service? They probably won't come to your room to make your beds or clean. Maybe if it's after 6pm? Oh, and our towels didn't seem clean. They have random red spot marks on them. Overall- bad. I would recommend somewhere else if you're trying to have a good experience!!

Yelp
DON'T stay here!! Deferred Maintenace everywhere!! Horrible staff. Lies, dis-respect, horrible food. I've stayed here 6 times prior and felt the decline. But now, rock bottom. AVOID the SPA (you're welcome) They will steal from you. From your face, or in your room while you're trying to find a chair at the pool (never enough for all guests). Their ship is sinking!! Don't fall for the website promises. You get what you pay for. If it seems like too good of a deal, well it is. YOU will pay...and we know how precious our vacations are. Pay more, get more, be happy.

Yelp
I recently had no choice but to stay at the Krystal Grand Los Cabos hotel because of a United flight cancelation, and I wanted to share my experience. Overall, I found my stay to be quite disappointing. One of the major drawbacks was the cleanliness of the hotel. Unfortunately, I noticed several areas that were not adequately maintained, which left a negative impression. It's crucial for a hotel to prioritize cleanliness to ensure a pleasant stay for guests. Another aspect that left much to be desired was the quality of the food. I found the meals to be quite disappointing and far from the standards I had expected. The taste and presentation did not meet my expectations, which was disappointing. Additionally, the drinks served at the hotel seemed to be watered down, lacking the flavor and strength that one would hope for. Furthermore, one of the most disappointing aspects of my stay was the condition of the sheets in my room. I noticed stains on the bedding, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber. Clean and comfortable bedding is an essential part of any hotel experience, and it was disheartening to encounter such an issue. Considering these factors, I must regrettably say that my stay at the Krystal Grand Los Cabos was not up to par. It fell short in terms of cleanliness, food quality, and the condition of the bedding. I hope that the hotel management takes these concerns seriously and works towards improving these aspects to provide a more satisfying experience for future guests.

This is the view in the morning, nothing to hate, much to love about this place compared to the miserable weather back in CA.

Yelp
Please do not stay here! If you read the previous reviews you can see why I say this! we waited over 4 hours to get our "upgraded room" which had a leak under the sink. We stayed 4 night and the room was only cleaned once and they left us with no towels, we called the front desk requesting towels and they never came. The bald bartender in the lobby was rude AF, people there are just bitter. All drinks are watered down and have no flavor whatsoever. Even just soft drinks are watered down. We made reservations to 3 different restaurants on 3 different night , the Japannese restaurant was good but we waited for our food for over an hour and the portions were extremely small. the Mexican restaurant had us in the heat and they wouldn't even offer water and we waited for over an hour to be served, Why?!!! We made a reservation and there is like 3 things offered on the menu. Also, the food was disgusting. The italian restaurant was better and we waited 45 minutes, not too bad after 2 bad experiences. One of our friends refused to go to the reservation because of the two previous experiences. He ended up ordering Dominos Pizza!!! Not to mention you have to share menus at these restaurants with people at your table... I'm giving this Hotel a 2 star only because my son had fun at the pool and some of the staff at the buffet were very friendly and courteous, specially Ada!! I still think you should spend your money elsewhere!!

Yelp
STAY AWAY!! We arrived at Krystal Grand Los Cabos on Saturday November 19th, 2022 an all inclusive resort around 4:30 pm their time for our honeymoon. They knew of our arrival, yet our room was not ready until 7:30 pm. So, we waited around with nothing to do while our room was being cleaned. Once our room was ready, we were taken to the 4th floor of the resort. This was the first issue. We had asked for an ocean front room. I told her when we booked I wanted to be able to walk out onto the beach. 4th floor is not ocean front. They refused to move us to a bottom floor room and just kept trying to upgrade us. I wasn't paying more for a room I was under the impression I had already paid for and had. We also found out shortly after the issue with the room and luggage, that there was no place to have dinner. They closed the buffet at 3 and reservations must be made for dinner between 11 and 3 every day by standing in line in the foyer to sign up. Seeing as we did not arrive to the resort until 4:30 pm, this wasn't possible. They had a café open, so we decided to go get a snack there since we were told we couldn't have dinner because we didn't make a reservation. Unfortunately, when we arrived at the café, they were out of food and were only serving coffee! No juice, no pastries, no sandwiches, nothing. Nothing they had displayed on the board was available. The next morning, we awoke early and went to find breakfast at around 7:30 am. They had the buffet open which had very limited food and service was horrendous. I asked 4 different people for coffee and grapefruit juice, and no one brought us anything. So, we went up to the café again instead to get coffee and juice and pastries. Our walk to the café included stepping over drunk people on the floor of the resort in the FOYER and stepping over vomit. 8 am the cafe had nothing again. Just coffee and two types of yogurts. They had nothing that was displayed on their board. The resort was trashed from the day before. Cups and food in the pools. Trash all over the resort. I couldn't get towels for our room. They never came to clean. I had to beg for toilet paper and towels, and I only got them the one day I asked. Wanting clean towels, and a clean room isn't much to ask. It's standard service even when it's not an all-inclusive resort. By noon every day the music was obnoxiously loud, blasting obscene music that I was begging to leave the resort for some peace and quiet. All the bars don't open until 11. And they were out of everything as well. Only serving margaritas. The hot tubs were broken. All of them! When we finally made it to dinner the evening of our second night there, they had more than half the menu crossed out because it wasn't available. And the menu was small to begin with. The food was atrocious, and service was horrible. Upon going to sleep that evening our neighbors next to us had some drunk lady banging on their door at 3 am. It woke us up. We could hear our neighbor yelling at her to leave and go away but she wouldn't leave. Security was called but nothing was done. Finally, after her partner raised his voice, she left. Now, we were disturbed and awake. I was now feeling unsafe as this resort's rooms were accessible from the outside. There was no security, there is no gate at the front to stop civilians from coming in, everything was wide open for the public to be able to just walk into the resort and bother the guests. Which is exactly what happened. Locals daily showed up and just took over the resort. They were loud, rude and made a mess of the place. The next morning, we woke up to no hot water and again, a trashed resort with vomit on the ground. We went up to the café to get a coffee and see if they had food this time. Again, no food, just coffee. There was never anywhere to sit near the pools because of the lack of chairs and locals who took over. This place was anything but an all-inclusive resort. No one wanted to help or to fix any issues. The staff even tried telling my travel agent that they sent us fruit, strawberries and wine for our troubles. We saw none of that. Then on the third day, the day we demanded a refund and to leave, they tried to play games with us and told us they hadn't heard from our travel agent about our complaints or that we hadn't complained. We got tired of being in a filthy, unsafe "resort" with no food or hot water that we demanded a refund for the third time and needed to go somewhere else. They finally reluctantly agreed to a refund. We went and stayed at Garza Blanca. Stay anywhere but at Krystal Grand!

Yelp
Wow what a mistake we made - DO NOT GO THERE. We came to San Jose Del Cabo for 5 nights. When initially looking for hotels online we thought this would be good. We ended up moving 2 nights in and paying a fine just to not be there. Food - absolutely terrible. They have a buffet and 3-4 "international restaurants" (how they call them). The food in any of these facilities is terrible, stale and unsafe. So bad in fact, that me and my wife both had food poisoning after eating breakfast at "The Grill". We were in bed for 2 days vomiting and unhealthy for another 4 days. We only ate there for the 2 days we were there so I can guarantee it was from this facility. Rooms - We stayed in the "Altitude building" - supposedly the fancy one. not well kept, the room we were in had mold in it that was very noticeable with a strong smell. We alerted the staff. The paint was not well maintained and heavily chipped. To make matters worse, the pool next to the building "The Adult Pool" was under construction and construction noise was on every second of the day. We were there 11/24/23-11/26/23. After 1 night there we had asked to get out of the hotel with a refund. The front desk initially said there will be a 1 night penalty and that they will check with customer service and get back to us. 1 hour later we got a call from Geovany who presented himself as the Customer Quality Service Manager. He offered to either upgrade us to another terrible room for free or give us a full refund for the nights we will not be staying in the hotel. We asked for the refund. It was around 4-5 PM that day so we agreed to stay 1 more night and check out the next day. Geovany said that we will be refunded during the checkout process. When I asked - how will the front desk know? He replied "I will be there from 9 AM just make sure to check out by 11 AM", we trusted him unfortunately. Next day we were checking out and the front desk said you will need to pay the penalty, I had asked for Geovany to come and lo and behold it was his day off! We were determined to not stay so we paid the fine and left to the Viceroy (The Viceroy is HIGHLY recommended), but kept complaining to the hotel every day (I physically came to the hotel asking for Geovany but he was never there for another 2 days after we left). After 3 days we came to meet the Over all manager of quality (Can't recall her name) - she said Geovany worked for her and had no authorization to approve such a refund and that he will be dealt with. The hotel did no own their own promise and we were scammed out of some of our money. Bottom line, trash hotel, disgusting, displeasing, horrible service, food that would make you sick to your stomach (literally). Please for the life of you, never go there. There are plenty of really good hotels right down the road - Viceroy, Cabo Azul, Vidanta are all amazing.

Yelp
First time to Los Cabos and it was so memorable! We stayed in a Junior Suite with swim up. It was amazing to get away from the crowd and chill on your own if you choose. The room was large, well furnished and very comfortable. Favorite food places were The Grill and the Italian restaurant. Both were great and we had a favorite server at each. The pools were beautiful, and we did visit the adults only pool, but spent most of our time enjoying our time on the gorgeous beach. We also took advantage if the free photo shoot. Francisco is an amazing photographer and captured some beautiful pictures for us to have as lovely souvenirs. We met some amazing guests from all over the world and had a great time with them enjoying our stay. I can't wait to come back for whale season!

Yelp
This is the worst place to stay. The bed is terrible, refrigerator didn't work , no ice and you can't swim in the ocean there. I wouldn't even give it 1 star!

Yelp
We stayed here for 4 nights. I don't think it is the fanciest resort but the staff here were so so so nice, they go above and beyond. We had such a good time. The sushi and the Italian restaurant food was not amazing, it was just okay. There is a buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner but you have to call the front desk and make reservations for the other restaurants. The beach was so beautiful. There is an adults only pool with a swim up bar, which was really fun. They have multiple pools though so it is also a very kid friendly resort. They have different color bracelets for each package that you purchase. We had a grey bracelet which gave us access to certain bar/lounge areas like the rooftop bar. This resort is in Cabo San Jose which is about 20 minutes away from Cabo San Lucas, we were able to Uber over to San Lucas for a boat ride that we had reserved. It is also pretty close to the art walk area where we had breakfast and walked around to the little shops. Overall a good vacation.

Yelp
One of the most embarrassing and unsafe place to stay they basically use all fake alcoholic beverages to keep the cost low. one of our friends got poison at by the fake alcohol's, they basically raped us for $3000 to take him to the ER and no one responded for any things Please avoid to stay in this place.

Yelp
Just stayed at this hotel for the third time. The food is good, the staff are amazing and my Oceanfront room has been clean and nice everytime. The things I like about this resort are as follows: Adult pool Option for Altitude upgrade with a rooftop private area Friendly staff Good food Nobody on a microphone at the adult the pool. This is actually my favorite thing about this resort. So many Mexican resorts have a person on the microphone trying to get you to do shots. SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS. Ugh The Italian restaurant is great. Always very well plated and tasty. The Teppanyaki was also a really fun experience. The grill has great lunch salads and the burger at Surfos is actually a damn fine burger. I will definitely stay here again.

Yelp
NO STARS IF I COULD! Terrible customer service!!! Bed sheets and drawers had awful smell. The Buffet was extremely poor quality. I've been to way better buffets. Ladies during breakfast have attitudes. Men in pool area and snack buffet pick and choose who to cater to. Italian restaurant host lied to us saying they don't take reservations we asked other guest if they got a reservation and said they did. And to top it off I witnesses a female worker walking out of my room. I assumed she was cleaning lady but she had on blue colored shirt I believe she was part of maintenance (no didn't call for any repairs) when I walked in room no cleaning was done, I went to back to look for her and she was gone! Later that evening I over heard guest complaining about how money was stolen from their room and they did nothing for them. They say they will look into it and never follow up. I'm so glad I carried few bucks I had wt me. I so much Regret staying wt them it was such an unpleasant experience.

Yelp
Lived staying here. Everything wasn't open because of covid but we got an awesome room with a pool as our balcony. Drinks unlimited as was the food. Given a rose on mother's day. Beach great.
