K's House Hiroshima

I'm very impressed with the hostel, both the service from the staff and the facilities they provide. It's the best one so far I had been to. It's location is good, the staff goes for the extra mile to help you out(especially if you need to leave your baggage somewhere before you depart), the room is clean and easily accessible, also the dining/living room is well-equipped, along with the kitchen. Truly amazing place, so it's well-worth the money no matter how much you pay. :)

Good hostel, well located and a friendly atmosphere, with very helpful staff. Decent facilities, including kitchen and laundry. Location is ok - walking distance to the downtown area and 10 minutes on foot to the station. We had a private room with en suite. Nothing fancy, and beds were uncomfortable but very clean and we otherwise we enjoyed our stay here.

Stayed here for two nights for 3 people in the Japanese style rooms. We were on level 3 room 306 with shared shower and bathroom. Both amenities were always very clean. Self laundry/dryer which costs 300 yen including laundry powder. |The kitchen and Lounge area can get quite crowded as it is quite small but we mainly spent time away. The train station is about 10 mins walk away, staff are friendly and speak great English

Great hostel with a relaxed vibe and helpful staff. Perfect for solo or couple travellers who would like to meet people on the way. Stayed in one of the traditional Japanese rooms, comfy and spacious. + Good common area space, lots of games and cards to play with + Cheap vending machine with beer, water and juice + Very helpful staff with lots of tips and guides in reception + Well-stocked kitchen + Washer/drier + <5 min walk from two streetcar stops + Awesome showers

Clean, hostel, well maintained. The Japanese private rooms are plenty spacious, especially if you put away the futons. Toilet and washing facilities are clean and plentiful. Shared kitchen is well-equipped and there are two very reasonably priced washing machines.

Location is great - very close to Hiroshima station and a few blocks from the city centre. Right next to bus and tram stops. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Prices are very good.||||Facilities are decidedly tired and not quite up to par with other hostels in the price range. Tiny laundry (two tiny washers and dryers - good luck getting a load of washing done when the hostel is at capacity!), no TV in the private rooms, peeling wallpaper etc. - none of these are deal-breakers by any means, but given what's on offer for around the same nightly rate elsewhere it's hard not to feel a bit short-changed.

We had one night here in a double room. The room was very basic with a poor matress and pillow with a lot of noise through the window to the street, to the hallway and through the walls. However, the location close to the station and memorial park, shopping and eating is a huge advantage. The staff was also very nice and helpful, and the room was clean! |I wouldn’t recommend it if you would stay in Hiroshima for several nights, but for a single or couple of nights the location and price is the winning argument.||

This is the 3rd K's House I have ever been staying after Kyoto and Takayama. I stayed for 3 nights for a triple sharing room and indeed I enjoyed the stay overall.||These are the pros in staying in this hotel||1. Lift facility is available. Easy to bring our luggage to our room.||2. Free wifi and coffee.||3.Location is good as it takes about 8 minutes walk from Hiroshima station.||4. Lawson is just around the corner.||5. Slipper is provided to the guest||6. The hostel is very clean and has a spacious common area for guests to rest, read and watch tv.||7. English spoken staff||8. Comfortable mattress||9. Can drop our luggage at the lobby on the arrival before check in and the staff brought our bags to the room when we came back for check in after 4pm||||What I think it can be improved further:||1. The pillow is very soft. I need to fold it to have a better and more comfortable sleep.||2.  Limited common toilet/bathroom.||3. Air conditioning in our room auto stop and it is not cooling enough.||4. Need to put our pillow case on our won.||5. Towel is not provided but you can rent.

I greatly enjoyed my stay here during the summer of 2012. The staff was friendly, the facilities were clean, and the location was very conveniently located. It's within walking distance of museums, the A-dome, Peace Memorial Park and more. If I find myself in Hiroshima again, I will be staying here.

Loved this hostel! The common area is a great space to hang out and meet people. Complete with all kinds of entertainment and access to a kitchen. The employees are very knowledgeable about the area and willing to go above and beyond to help you with whatever you need. Sleeping areas are simple, clean, and comfortable. There's one private shower, private bathroom, and hallway sink per 2 rooms (if I remember correctly), which seems like not enough, but I never had to wait to use any facility.

Nice place with very friendly staff. The first floor has a kitchen for you to cook + a nice living room space (with games and origami!). The entrance also has a plenty of information on what to do in Hiroshima, so if you come unprepared this will be a great help. You can also pick up a free map from the reception or the information station. Rooms a very nice and cheap given the normal costs in Japan. You will only find convenience stores (e.g. 7/11) next to the K's House. However, you will be able to reach a supermarket within 10-15 mins walk.
