Kualoa Ranch

We did the jungle tour and it was absolutely incredible, even on a rainy day! This valley is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been and we had a great time with Naomi, and learned so much about the area, the culture, and the local plants and wildlife!! I highly highly recommend this tour if you’re looking for something chill to do on the East Side and want some nice views.

Had an amazing experience. My adult kids loved it. we took the ATV ride tour. Our guide was amazing. I will definitely be coming back and experience other parts of the ranch. I can't post to many pictures as I have to leave some for the imagination or for you to come and really experience and see for yourselfs, as the views were just stunning (at least to me). the weather at the end of January/February were just perfect for us.

This visit was magical in an of itself. Put aside the educational portion and fun movie facts, the majestic landscape is like no other. You feel like you are on another planet. Pictures don’t do it justice. I highly recommend the 4x4 trip and next time we go we are spending a half day at the secret/private beach. Bring snacks. Also their merch is top notch.

Today was our anniversary & we wanted to do something other than going to dinner so we booked the UTV Raptor Tour. It was amazing. Our guide Ki was so much fun, energetic, & hilarious. You could really tell he enjoyed being a guide. I highly recommend the UTV Raptor Tour & maybe you will be as lucky as we were and have Ki as your guide. Either way, you will not be disappointed. Book your tour today.

Definitely worth it. We did the UTV Raptor ride. Such a grand an amazing view of the mountains. Our tour guides were very knowledgeable and very fun. They really kept us interested and they didn't mind taking pictures for us. There is a small Deli in the gift shop if you get hungry or want snacks there is so much to offer and so much to do I wish we had more time.

We signed up for the full day tour. The ranch is awe inspiring, peaceful, and just all around beautiful. The movie set tour was good and our guide knowledgeable. I was disappointed that we did not get to spend more time at the different movie sites (we drove past several sites without stopping or even slowing down). I also did not realize that the full day package did not hit all the Jurassic Park movie sites as that was a completely separate tour 😕 Overall, we enjoyed ourselves.

Don't miss this place. Zip line event and the hike is amazing. Wonderful team members assured safety and fun are both delivered to their guests. The hike was not too difficult and the zip lines are well engineered and cross the valley's floor with fantastic views of the ranch. My wife and daughter did this a few months back and my wife took me for my 60th birthday to have fun and adventures at the ranch. Thenk you to the zip line team members for a wonderful time.

Definitely a great experience if you are a nature lover. Feels like a nice drive through a little forest either beautiful valleys and views of the ocean at various places. Pretty easy to drive those UTVs. We were a bit hesitant and chose a couple of drive along rides but not really that different from your own raptor rides. Guides were pretty helpful and knowledgeable about the area and made sure everyone stayed safe through the ride. Ride was about 2 hours. Recommend wearing a light jacket as it much cooler inside the ranch. Not such a big deal if you are going to visit the place for movie locations.

We visited the branch in December 24, 2024. We had a great time visiting the movie sites of Jurassic series. I am a Jurassic movie fan. The views were breathe taking! Our tour guide on the small tour vehicle was awesome! I didn't get her name, but she joked it was Brittany.

We just had the best private ATV tour with the legend that is tour guide Johnny His never ending knowledge, passion for his culture and perfect timing humour left us in stitches the whole trip and we have come away graced with a whole new perspective and understanding of the regions culture and history. Thanks Johnny!! It's been the highlight our our trip!

We visited Kualoa ranch to see the Jurassic filming spots. The tour was super fun and informative. There is ample parking, but the lot was close to full when we arrived around 12PM. Despite the crowded parking lot, once inside, the ranch didn't seem crowded. Our tour contained a dozen people which felt like a small group in such a large space! We really appreciated that they kept the tours small. Vao was our tour guide. She had an amazing personality and was incredibly knowledgeable! She took great care of us and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and were comfortable! Throughout the park, there was so much natural beauty and so many fun animals to see! Would definitely recommend a visit here if you're in the area.

Enjoyed a lovely day at Kualoa ranch, complete with a boat ride, bus ride, movie tour, and buffet lunch, with 16 others in our youth group. Nice reunion with college students back home for the holidays, and youth getting ready to head to Korea on a scholarship. Enjoyed the company of one of our youth's collegiate friend, who is visiting from Korea (and transferring from Grinell to UNC next semester). The parking lot was in overflow mode with the many visitors flocking to the many tours offered here. It's best to arrive early for your tour as it may take a few minutes to walk up the slight hills and stairs to check in. We camped out on a picnic table awaiting arrivals, went to the store and service deli for hot and cold foods and beverages. Took pictures with the dinosaur and animals placed around the park-like area, watched and listened while the many tours (i.e., 9:30 boat tour - you may line up now!) queued up in various sections of the large driveway. Horseback, ATV, Bike, and a host of other activities are available. Some include swimming, others include lunch. We were treated to the Secret Island Boat Tour and it was a gorgeous day! What also impressed me was the services provided to an elderly visitor-each stop had a wheelchair awaiting. For the walks on the sand, there was an appropriately kitted wheelchair (I'll attach a picture. Staff are in constant contact via their headsets and walkie talkies to advise of arrival times.) The 5-7 minute bus ride to the first boat was followed by a short walk on the sand to the double decker boat. Tevan was our guide and we were treated to history, agriculture, aquaculture, movie lore, fantastic photo ops, and lots of local humor. Yes, we even spotted several turtles! TIP: Remember your sunscreen, sunglasses and maybe a hat, it can get hot out there! And rubber slippers/flip flops are recommended, as boarding may get your tennis shoes wet and sandy. You will climb up a stair like ladder so hold on to the railings! Buffet lunch was actually pretty good - green salad, mac salad, broccoli, cucumbers, tomatoes, several dressing options, white rice, teriyaki chicken, bbq ribs, corn n beans, chili, cookies, and a variety of juices (pog- a popular passion-orange-guava mix-; calamansi, lemonade, and apple), and there's a water station to refill your bottles/flasks. Restroom lines go quickly and there is staff constantly trying to keep it clean with the hundreds of people coming through. (Am not kidding!). Never had to wait long and never ran out of seat covers nor paper goods. Even their port-a-potty facilities are air conditioned, I heard! There are strategically placed anti-bacterial gel stations at entrances to food areas. It's good to bring wet wipes, though;). We had lots of time to fellowship and chat during lunch and there is time to go for seconds and thirds! There's ample outdoor table seating, but beware, outdoors means there are some airborne guests like flies, some walking birds, and a variety of red and black ants on the picnic tables. Amazingly, while they are there, (none bit me), just shoo them away and all will be well! (It would probably be nice to have those little food fans around the tables someday.) The movie tour bus ride covers vast terrain, and you even get to visit a movie prop museum - Battery Cooper - with great photo ops while walking through- but watch out for the live dinosaurs! Also on the bus ride- You'll spot live animals, and other guests on their ATVs, bikes and open air Jurassic Jeeps. Love how the staff are intimately familiar with every inch of the road up and around the Kualoa acreage. It can get bumpy, but the staff are great drivers and they warn you ahead of time if you should hold on;). Pause frequently to appreciate the panoramic, stunningly beautiful, views! No words, appreciate the gift of this beauty. Also love the teaching moments - love your neighbor/community, love and respect yourself, and share the same love and respect for the 'aina, the land. Take care of it, and it will take care of you. They take care of the fish, the pond, the livestock, and more, and it feeds the community, including those in need. The market sells out of their fresh produce and local treats - but our group did grab some frozen shrimp, sweet land farms goat cheese, apple bananas, pop culture ice pops, fresh greens, ulu chips, and big island coffee. I was soooo tempted to get their forage beef bone broth and meats!!!! Gosh, we forgot to look at our group photos! They take them before embarking on your adventures! This visit was all the more memorable because of our youth group and fellowship, but this is not my first visit. Local kama'aina love visiting Kualoa Ranch, and you will, too!

Amazing Experience on the UTV Tour! We had an unforgettable time on the UTV tour, and the beauty all around was simply breathtaking. The UTVs were very cool and surprisingly fast, although they're limited to 15 mph. Honestly, this slower pace allowed us to soak in the stunning scenery without feeling rushed. The views of the mountains were spectacular--truly postcard-worthy. Movie buffs will love this tour! It features iconic filming locations like the set from Jurassic Park: The Lost World and scenes from the show Lost. We even got to see a real World War II bunker, which added a fascinating historical touch. The tour lasted 2 hours and 30 minutes, and we loved every second of it. Before leaving, we made sure to purchase the commemorative photo they offer--such a great way to keep these memories alive. This place is a must-visit for anyone looking for adventure, history, and stunning views!

After five beautiful and unforgettable days in Oahu, I am reminded of the countless blessings we have in our lives. Our second day was spent at Kualoa Ranch, a breathtaking destination that truly captures the spirit of the island. Nestled between the lush green mountains and the sparkling ocean, Kualoa Ranch offers stunning landscapes that have served as the backdrop for numerous films and TV shows, including "Jurassic Park" and "Lost." Visiting Kualoa Ranch is highly recommended for anyone in Oahu. The range of activities available--from guided tours to ATV rides--ensures that there's something for everyone. We explored the rich history of the land, learned about its cultural significance, and took in the awe-inspiring views.

I wasn't sure about this place I thought it was a tourist trap but it really lived up to the hype. We did the movies tour and it was awesome! Wasn't too long or too short just perfect and the scenery was just wonderful! I recommend it with my whole heart. The staff is incredibly kind and knowledgeable! Enjoy!

We booked an Experience Package which included the Movie Site & Ranch Tour, Jungle Expedition Tour, and Kualoa Grown Tour. All three tours were amazing and very educational! They were all very different with different points of interest so I didn't feel there was much overlap. The Kualoa Grown Tour was my favorite because I have a strong interest in food and culture. Our tour guide was great and it was fascinating learning about different agriculture methods, local plants and vegetation, and trying things like poi, raw cacao fruit, and raw macadamia nuts! The Jungle Expedition Tour was my second favorite because we were able to go all the way up the mountains and even a short hike up to the top to see some of the most breathtaking views of the mountains of hawaii. Although the Movie Site & Ranch Tour was my least favorite, there was nothing bad about it in any way! It was only 3rd place for me because I don't have a very strong interest in movies. However, for those more interested in film it would have been incredible! The background on Jurassic Park and Lost was cool to learn about and the valleys we drove through that made up the background for these films/shows was beautiful. After all the tours we had a buffet lunch which was delicious and the ranch had a large gift shop that had a lot of cute clothing and souvenirs. They also had a to-go style food court as well for snacks. Kualoa ranch was a wonderful experience and really a one-stop shop to see some of the most beautiful areas of Oahu. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area and I'd even go back and do different tours in the future! Not cheap but was worth every penny.

This was so much fun and very much recommended. There's so many activities to choose from but if you're not looking to do any physical activities, there's a few tour options to check out Kualoa Ranch. Watching the movies that were filmed there and to see it in person felt so unreal. From start to finish was pretty smooth. Booking online, checking in, getting in line, then waiting for our group number to be called. We chose the UTV to be more hands on with the experience. We had 6 people in our group which fit us all in one UTV. (1 driver, 5 passengers). The UTV is also a tour so we had tour guides leading the way and other UTVs following along. We also made a few stops so they could explain certain areas such as FYI on the movies that were filmed there. Our tour guides were awesome! Kept it entertaining with some humor and engaging the crowd so it was fun and informative. Kualoa Ranch was such a beautiful site to see. Going up on our UTVs and looking out was such amazing view. I'm glad we all had the opportunity to experience this. This is must when visiting in Oahu at least once.

Had a great time zip lining at Kualoa Ranch. We made reservations online two weeks before our trip. Wasn't a far drive from Honolulu. Enjoyed a bit to eat before our tour. Had a great time with the zip lining team on my birthday trip. It really it beautiful and zip lining was so much fun! Would totally go again!! They offer military discount, you buy your tickets first and they refund the discounted amount on the day you check in.

The views and nature are impressive, but if you're looking at just doing one of the tours that doesn't involve adventure (ATV, zip lining, etc.), I wouldn't do it. I'm sure those adventure things are fun in beautiful scenery, but passive Kualoa Ranch is such a bust and truly feels like a tourist trap. The movie tours on both bus and boat are SO boring, especially for younger kids. Both of our kids fell asleep from extreme boredom, and the TV/movie sites are not impressive at all. If you do a half-day of tours, your ticket also includes a pretty gross, sleepaway camp-quality lunch, and all of the vending machines are broken, leaving you with limited drink options in a pretty hot, sunny area of the island. It's not great. This was the lowlight of our time on Oahu, and it was one of the most expensive things we did. If you're going for adventure, I'm sure it's great. If you're going for just tours, do not bring your kids. They will be bored out of their minds, and you might be too, but you'll convince yourself that being in nature was worth it because you paid for a pretty brutal day.

I recently had an unforgettable experience at Kualoa Ranch on the Jurassic Park ATV 2-hour tour. The ranch's stunning landscapes, featured in Jurassic Park, set the perfect backdrop for the ride. The knowledgeable guides shared interesting behind-the-scenes stories, making the tour even more enjoyable. The ATVs were easy to handle, and the scenic trail offered breathtaking views of lush valleys, towering mountains, and iconic filming spots. The stops for photos at famous locations added to the excitement, especially for Jurassic Park fans. This tour is a must-do for anyone visiting Oahu, offering adventure, stunning scenery, and a memorable experience. Highly recommended!

Kualua Ranch was probably the highlight of my most recent trip to Hawaii. I've been to Oahu many times, and I'm super disappointed with myself for not coming here until now. I almost actually skipped this the morning of because we were so exhausted from the day before...I'm so glad we didn't because I most definitely would've regretted it in the future. We did the "Best of Kualoa Experience" full day package with a pickup from the Sheraton where we were staying. The package included the Jungle Expedition Tour, Hollywood Sites Tour, and the Kualoa Grown Tour, with a buffet lunch between the tours. When you get to Kualoa, they will check you in and present you with your schedule of tours. Out of the 3 tours included in the package, the Hollywood Sites Tour was by far the best one. The other tours were good, but if I could only do one, the Hollywood Sites would be the one I would choose without hesitation...you get to see all the sites where they filmed movies/shows including Lost. But it's not only a strictly movie sites tour per se...Out of all the tours, the views and the scenery was probably the best on this particular tour. The lunch buffet was nothing special, but a welcome inclusion to the full day experience because we were absolutely famished by lunch time. There was a good spread of food including chicken, ribs, rice, kimchi, salad, macaroni salad, desserts, and a juice station. Nothing really stood out, but the quality was decent for a buffet. Overall, one of my favorite experiences/tours in Oahu. It was basically an all day experience and we were completely exhausted at the end, but we had a lot of fun and the scenery was amazing. Shout out to Uncle Koa on the Kualoa Grown Tour portion...He's one of the best tour guides I've ever had!

Book it! What a tour! So much to see! This is a tour that you will never forget! We purchased the half day tour that included a buffet lunch and paid to get picked up near our hotel. This was worth it. They take care of your initial check in upon arrival. You definitely want to arrive well before your tour time. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the wonderful staff at the entrance. They had our tickets and wristbands for lunch ready to go. They also provided us with clear instructions and tips about how to make the most of our experience there. This was very helpful. We began our tour on the ocean voyager. There is a lot to see and our guide provided us with lots of information about the history of the ranch. They also talk about what movies and shows were filmed there. There are so many! There are many different views of the water. It's an unforgettable experience. They don't just film movies but they are also Big on conserving history and the land. They talk about their efforts they make to preserve the environment. They are most known for Jurrassic Park but there are many other more show and movies filmed on location. Some include 50 First Dates, Karate Kid, Hawaii 5-O, lost and so much more. The water is crystal clear and blue just as the beautiful sky. The boat ride is fun and a must when you visit. The second part of our tour was on a bus. It was a tour of the ranch. They stop at certain locations so you can take some cool photos. They also talk about how certain movies were filmed there. There is a lot to see and learn on this tour. You get to see some props from shows and movies. Super cool! They have done an excellent job with maintaining the land. I took several pictures. It's beautiful! The lunch was pretty good. We had pork, macaroni salad, rice, fruit and more food. I recommend the buffet. It's good and the seating is on a nice covered patio area. They offer other tours and horse back riding. I'm adding this to my list of things to do when I return. It's fun for the whole family and well worth the price.

My wife and I took the tour here and it was great to see a lot of the familiar scenery where a lot of blockbuster movies or TV shows were filmed. The scenery and surrounding area is very lush and beautiful!

During our trip to Honolulu, we embarked upon an adventure to Kualoa Ranch. I didn't know much about this place since my husband selected it for our next excursion. I had to take a few hints from the brochures that were placed out front. The drive to Kualoa Ranch was beautiful. Lush trees and beautiful blue/green waters hug the coastline as you make your way to the property. The exterior looks like a regular building, but once you make your way through, the adventure will begin. The first building that you'll walk into is a gift shop. They have several souvenirs that support the Jurassic Park theme. A small snack bar is also inside the building so that you can grab a bite to eat before or after your adventure. Restrooms are located to the left, but they are small and the line can build from time to time. When you walk out of the rear exit, you'll see another building to your left. That is where you will pay or check in for activities that are available at the ranch. The most popular activities are zip lining and UTV tours. We opted for UTV excursion. Once we checked in, we were provided with goggles and a helmet. We brought neck gaiters and compression sleeves for our arms. It was essential for this activity as people come back quite dirty once the activity is over. We signed the waivers and had a safety briefing and then it was time to head out on the ranch. When we walked over to the UTVs, we noticed that they were pretty muddy. This was a great indicator as to how this ride was going to be. Thankfully, we had neck gaiters on to cover our mouths and noses as well as goggles. This helped us avoid coming back with a face full of dirt. Once you begin your tour, you'll take in the natural beauty of the area. The ocean views are phenomenal and are postcard-worthy. The topography of the land is often bumpy with several tight turns. There are also opportunities to get out of the UTV and explore around for a short period. Several movies were filmed here and you'll see film props on the property. The guide will provide you with the history of the land as well as which movies were filmed in various locations. It's pretty nice to stand in the same location where scenes from Jurassic Park was filmed! Kualoa Ranch is absolutely beautiful. Locals are very welcoming to visitors as we are some of their main sources of revenue. We didn't have a chance to zip line or take on any of the other activities, but the UTV was a first for us. I'm glad that we had an opportunity to try something new!

I love this place. It offers breathtaking views and lots of fun for the family. They accommodate large parties. I was able to book activities for 11 people. The only downside is that the cafe takes FOREVER. They need to hire an additional cook or find a more streamlined way of putting burgers on the grill. We stood in line for over 45 mins just to order and almost missed our second tour.

The Kualoa Ranch was a bit of a letdown, as we came here to check out their market. Unfortunately, they really didn't have much of a selection, as we expected more variety of fresh produce and a larger offering of local items. I did manage to find a goat's milk soap, a popsicle, and some drinks. Staff were friendly, and there's plenty of parking. +limited selection and offerings +friendly service +plenty of parking in large lot

We've been coming here for at least a decade and still have not scratched the surface. You have to stop here if you're vacationing on Oahu. We keep doing the ATV which is excellent. The tour guide taught us about Hawaiian mythology and history. One thing I'll never forget is she told us - "Nobody can ever take your mana away from you," as well as the legend behind Mokoli'i (China Man's hat). The tour is expensive but two hours and so worth it. We also tried horse back riding which was fun as well.

This is a must-visit place if you're in Oahu! It's a beautiful and breathtaking 4,000 square acre ranch with a beautiful scenic view of the ocean. They have many different types of tour you can do in many different time slots. We decided to do the UTV tour. You can drive one or do the ride along one with the tour guide. We decided to do the ride along. The tour guide will drive and share interesting facts about the ranch. This gave us a chance to really enjoy the surroundings and take photos & videos. They make 3 major stops where you can get off the UTV and take photos. The tour guides are amazing with telling us the stories and interesting facts of the area. They'll also help take photos for you. You'll want to give yourself plenty of time to arrive at the ranch because most of the tours require you to check-in 45 minutes prior to your tour start time. It gets pretty warm in the day so I recommend morning tour time. There is a gift shop and also an indoor food place. Nothing fancy but you can get beverages, snacks, and meals. Overall an amazing experience!

Kuala Ranch has a pretty extensive gift store that has tons of different souvenirs and gifts. The prices are reasonable. There is also prepared food for purchase. This review is for one of the tours. I have previously reviewed the gift shop. Kualoa Ranch also offers several tours. We did the tour called "kualoa grown" which was supposed to be about Hawaiian agriculture and products grown by the Ranch. The cost of the tour in August 2024 was $55 per adult and $45 for a kid (as I remember). The tour was supposed to be 90 minutes but ours was 80 minutes. There is a lot of dead time during the tour, when you get to a stop and are supposed to wander about and entertain yourselves. I was hoping the tour would be more informative. We learned some things but in all honesty it was not worth the price. We looked at some fish ponds, some trees, some orchards, and a large lake which they called a pond. There were a few places where the guide pointed out where various movies had shot a scene or two but for me that was not interesting. I mean, so what? I like the Ranch. I like the grounds. I like the gift shop. But I would not recommend this particular tour. Maybe other tours are better. The wife and I agreed that this tour was "ok" but not worth the money.

we had an awesome time during our ride along UTV tour! it was a beautiful place that we would not have been able to see otherwise. definitely recommend checking this out if time/budget allows. the price is pretty steep, and the tour can get a bit repetitive at times, but all in all we had a wonderful time. the ride along ended up being awesome because our guide was super friendly and knowledgeable about the island. he made the experience extra special!

ATV rides are 12/10. I know a good chunk of people like to do the Jurassic tour, but I really wanted a more hands-on experience. We ended up doing the ATV tour and it was the best thing ever. I've always wanted to drive an ATV and what better place to do so than Kualoa Ranch in Hawaii? The views were amazing the entire way up and back down. Depending on when you go, prepare to be unprepared for the weather. I wore a tank top and parachute pants for the day (started off hot, skies clear). About a quarter of the way up, it started POURING. I looked like a wet dog by the next stop. Of course, the heavy downpour stopped shortly after (and then started again on and off the entire ATV tour). I wasn't too cold at any point to where it was unbearable, so it was just kinda funny. 10/10 enjoyed the tour. The staff that drive with you are super knowledgeable about the land and they're pretty funny so you'll have a good time.

Love the location and so blessed it's so close to home. Movie tour is great and gift shop is really temping. You can't walk through without picking out some souvenirs to take home. Always fun for the family.

Amazing adventure with 11 family members. Set in Jurassic valley, the scenery and ocean view cannot be beat. 7 tandem ziplines made for great photos and fun. Our guides made the experience even more special: Cheyenne, Bradda and Natta (definitely spelling her name wrong). Colleen was our driver, who gave an excellent overview of the movies filmed on the valley.

Today was the Jurassic World "Adventure" tour at Kualoa Ranch. They offer 12 different tours which include, but are not limited to, the following: E-mountain bike tour, horseback riding, ziplinining, and the Jurassic World adventure. This venue has their stuff together. They are very well-organized--from the bussing situation to getting you to your tour. The bus is clearly marked so there was no mistaking what bus we were on. Once we got to the ranch, we were given a mini orientation on what is what and where you needed to go; plus, signs are big and placed appropriately, so we knew where we were at all times. My boys all rate the tour a 5/5. It was a beautiful scenic tour with several stops at Jurassic Park/World movie sets. The awesome tour guide, Elsie, was very informative and kept us interested. There were, however, two downsides of the tour: the audio of the speaker system and the visual of the movie scenes. Even though the volume was up on the speaker system, it was difficult to hear because of the loud noises of the truck as you were going across the road. Sometimes, you couldn't understand anything for a good amount of time. The other area for improvement was the ability to view the movie scenes the tour guide was showing us to put us "in" the moment. It was displayed on the tour guide's little iPad and it was difficult to see, especially from the back. Other than the two above mentioned items, the tour was a memorable experience. The ranch is beautiful and the facilities are clean. They have great staff and a lovely cafe with a nice variety of food. Great experience!

My husband and I booked the half day tour - which included the Movie sites, lunch, and the Ocean Voyage tour. Movie Sites: Firstly, I was so impressed with how organized the ranch is in terms of waiting areas and checking attendance. Parking also was abundant, although not quick to find. There was a waiting area for buses to come pick up guests, and the driver for each bus was the tour guide. Someone else made sure everyone arrived on time, and this person for us was one of the most extroverted people ever - kind of like camp counselor vibes ! So that was fun. My husband was particularly excited for this tour because he is a LOST fan, and many of the sites in the series were filmed on this ranch. The tour itself was enjoyable - we got to see many beautiful scenic views of the ocean as well as the mountains on the ranch. There was a bunker that also turned into a museum that we were able to walk through. The bunker was our first stop, and then our second stop was an area near 'Jurassic Valley' where a bunch of the giant dinosaur bones were. The whole tour itself took around a little under 1.5 hours. I wish we would have been able to see more of the gorgeous property though (also our tour guide was great, too) ! Lunch Lunch was kind of a buffet-style loco moco meal. Unfortunately, there were not many meal preferences that they provide alternatives for. I am mainly pescatarian so I just grabbed as much as whatever I could that did not have land meat. The lunch area place kind of felt like an old office room. Nonetheless, the food was alright but what was really life changing for my husband and I was the POG juice ! We had been seeing POG everywhere but were quite indifferent to it. For this lunch, we both decided to grab a cup and did not realize that it tasted so good ! This was the beginnings of our trying to seek out POG juice wherever we could during our honeymoon on Oah'u. Ocean Voyage The lunch break was quite short, about 30 minutes. We had to get over to the ocean voyage waiting area in time, but long story short, we realize we could have taken our time with eating because we arrived very early. For this tour, they first loaded everyone onto a bus to the "fish pond" area of the property - which has fascinating history ! A lot of movies were filmed in this fish pond area as well. We then walked a bit on the Secret Island, and from there we got onto a 50-passenger boat out to the surf, where we could look back and get another unique view of the ranch and mountains. One of the crewmates was a very cute wiener dog ! We also got to see some sea turtles sticking their heads out of the water, as we were above/next to the reef ! After our tours, we walked around the ranch's farmer's market (where everything sold there is grown on site) and the gift shop. The gift shop also has another food area, but we didn't get the chance to eat there. I think if you're stopping by Oah'u, this ranch is definitely a must-explore ! Absolutely amazing! We did the UTV raptor tour and it exceeded our expectations. We did the ride along with our tour guide Jaren and learned so much about the island that we wouldn't have learned had we drove the UTV ourselves. My wife and I ended up talking all about the things we learned on the way back. Jaren needs a raise! The facts he knows about the island deepened our appreciation for it and the people who live here. The tour is a beautiful ride around Kualoa ranch with tons of fun facts about the movies there. For anyone new to Hawaii, make sure to come here for your first stop.

Kuala Ranch is a MUST DO if you're staying anywhere on Oahu. The ride is 2 full hours but it covers SO much of ranch: From mountain ranges, through pastures and almost all the way to the Pacific Ocean. Check in was a breeze.... Just show them your confirmation number. Helmets are required (provided). Lockers are available to store your things in during your ride. The 80+ horses were very well taken care of! The grounds well-kept. The onsite restaurants looked to be well-liked, too. There are a few movie props still in-place as numerous films were shot on the property. The gift shop had LOTS of items to choose from for all ages/sizes. THIS IS A MUST DO IF YOU ARE EVER VISITING Honolulu or Waikiki Beach!

Family friendly adventures with scenic views, iconic movies set locations, and friendly helpful guides. We did the zip line and UTV raptor tours on two separate days because we had a car and wanted to do other things with our day. They both were mild enough for preteen or younger kids. The teenagers could have done more extreme versions. It was our first time zip lining so next time we would want longer or faster lines. The UTV was mostly flat with a few stream crossings that were really fun. We got wet on the last stream crossing but I'm sure you could cross without getting wet. You will get dusty and dirty with the UTV so wear appropriate clothes. They give you a gator face mask. Parking can get a bit full so if you drive allow 5-10min to find parking in the lot.

My wife booked this tour when planning our trip to Honolulu. We weren't really sure what to expect as it wasn't something we had always planned, unlike when we went to a certain village where hobbits live. The cool thing about this tour, is getting to be on location where a lot of movies are filmed. I only knew of Jurassic Park but while doing this tour you find out a lot of movies and shows you have seen in the past (especially if you are old like me in your 40's) were filmed here. It's not the most exciting of tours, but getting to hear the little tidbits about the movies filmed here, do make it a tour worth trying out. A few tips from my experience. If you want to be able to hear your tour-guide better, sit in the inside rows, but if you want to be taking better pictures you need to be on the outside rows, so if your tour is not packed, you may be able to do both by sliding in and out. If you can bring some snacks to eat after your tour is done as the grill on location takes a long time to get your food, so you may want to have something to nibble while you wait, or if you plan to eat when you have left the tour and have a long drive back to where you are staying. Speaking of how long it takes to get food, don't plan the return bus to leave very close to time to when your tour ends, especially if you are planning to eat there and also, as you want to have time after to walk around, check the gift shop out, check the surroundings. So our tour started at 10 and our return bus was scheduled for 345 which gave us s plenty of time to wait for the food to be prepared because they take a long time. Did I mention the good takes a long time to be prepared... So be prepared. I liked the tour mainly because of our tour guide, Levi who gave us some interesting tidbits about scenes and also had some clips prepared for us to watch at the various locations. I'm ready to go watch Jurassic park again, George of the jungle, Jurassic world cause Levi said I should.. and maybe 50 first dates again..

Highly recommend a tour of the Kualoa Ranch - home of many Hollywood movies (Jurassic Park, 50 First Dates, etc). There are many different tours and most people like the ATV tour because they can drive their own ATV. My recommendation is to take the ATV tour but opt for the guided tour. You don't get to drive, but you get a personalized narrated tour that I think far exceeds the experience of driving. We were lucky to go the morning after a rainfall and it was hard to count all the spectacular waterfalls that popped up that morning. Lots of opportunities for photo stops and more.

We weren't planning to stop here on our drive around the island, but when the sign popped up I couldn't help but turn off and check out where one of my favorite movies was filmed: Jurassic Park. It was crowded in a Wednesday afternoon but we were able to get right onto the Movie Set tour which is an 1.5 hour tour in a bus that drives around to the sets of various movies filmed in the island as well as through the garden and farm areas. Surprisingly I learned a lot about local fruit and saw a WW2 bunker along the way as well. It's definitely a hokey tourist tour but it was fun to change the pace and participate in one. The ranch is beautiful, but I'd say the tour is overpriced. Nothing more than a comedian taking you through a farm with some movie posters and a few props. I'm all for this ranch on its own though and I'm glad we could "donate" to a great place.

Our office ATV experience was absolutely AMAZING!! We had the Best tour guides! I wish I could remember their names!? They made our experience an unforgettable one that's for sure! The history that was shared was beautiful! The site seeing was breath taking and to see where some of our favorite movies were filmed was fun!

This rating was tough. We enjoyed seeing all of the cool movie locations on our tour, but our tour guide was a bit much which detracted from the overall experience. Started off great, we were on the Jurassic tour that focused on the JP movies. Got our photo with the park Explorer replica and started off. Saw lots of cool movie sites and took some amazing photos. But our guide! He was a every-flowing font of repeated information. I can't tell you how many times he launched into a LONG list of all the crops the ranch produced. Or repeated the same information about the next site we would see 5 or 6 times. Then launch into the produce list again. It got to be almost a joke with the riders. Don't get me wrong, he was super nice and took photos for us and had some neat information. But by the end of 2 1/2 hours of the repeating track, we were ready to get off the bus and head on to other adventures!

Lots of different actives to do to tour the ranch. We booked the UTV tour more than a month out online. Tip they offer military discounts!! We saw people trying to book an adventure the day of but most tours were sold out already. The UTV tour was a 2 hour experience and we stopped at about 4 stops along the way. The tour guides gave a brief history and talk and were more than willing to snap photos of you at each of the stop. We loved the enthusiasm and humor of our tour guides. The UTV tour is dusty but were thankful for the cloth masks provided and the rinse off station afterwards! You area allowed to bring water with you which we did not know and went the whole two hours without. It is a hot and long tour to go without water so I would suggest bringing a bottle. We traveled through previous movie sets like Kong, Jurassic Park and others.

What a great place to spend an afternoon! I had my little kids with me so unfortunately the only tour we could take was the Movie Sites tour. However, it was awesome! Our tour guide, Uncle Koa, was so friendly and injected a lot of humor into the 90 min tour. It was a rainy day but everyone on our tour bus took it all in stride. The bus is admittedly pretty old and there were no windows so there was a little shower present with the rain outside. But that quickly went away as we got to experience the beautiful view of Kualoa Ranch. We walked through an old WW2 bunker that housed movie memorabilia and props. The highlight of the trip was definitely getting off the bus later on and walking around the giant "skulls" used in the movie Skull Island. We got some pretty epic pictures with the mountains in the background. As a bonus, our tour guide took pictures of any guest who wanted a special fx photo that he likes to offer. It turned out great. The gift shop was tempting and I definitely feel victim to it. Right next to the gift shop was Auntie Pat's cafe where we got a couple of snacks after our adventure. The portions were pretty large and the prices were expected given it being a tourist destination. When my kiddos are older, I'd love to try another one of the tours. Hopefully the rain stays away for our future visit!

We did a quick stop here since we were in the area. Very picturesque, so pretty. We went to their souvenir store and shopped for a few things. We didn't get to do any of their tours, so hopefully next time we come back we'll have the chance to do some activities.

This review is specifically for the grown tour. The reservation said to arrive 45 mins prior to the start time. We were running late and ended up arriving 20 mins prior our start time. As we waited in line to check in, the staff were doing last calls for any tours that were about to start. That reassured us that we were still on time. I do recommend getting there at least 30 mins early since we felt rushed to check in and use the restroom/explore. The tour does leave right on time. I believe our tour guide's name was Anna(?) and she was very funny and engaging. Although she only worked there for less than 6 months, she knew so much about the farm and was very informative. It was fun to ride a trolley bus through the farm and see all the produce, fruits, plants and how their agriculture works. We were able to try two samples during the tour: fish with poi and raw cacao beans. I wish there were more opportunities to get off the bus and take photos. Can get boring at times but still a pretty cool experience. There are lots of other tours at this location so you can easily spend an entire day here.

The views are incredible! I had so much fun riding a UTV for the first time. We were so lucky it wasn't raining (it had been raining throughout the week with flooding too). The UTV seats max of six people. Make sure to bring your driver's license if you are driving! We go through safety training and head off on the trails. There is staff leading the front so you won't be lost. Although we drive 15 mph, the breeze is so nice and the ride feels thrilling. You also get to stop three times to take pictures. There are also other tours such as biking or horseback riding. The UTV tour was about two hours and it was so fun!! Definitely worth it!

a very fun sunny day we enjoy ATV Tour to see the natural beauty mountains, beach, especially the fun history about the movie sites. we got Emma & Lauren as our tour lead, they both very knowledge, friendly & fun to talk too. Yes, I 100% recommended visiting & enjoy the Kualoa Ranches's incredible natural beauty.

A friend recommended we visit the Kualoa ranch and do the jurassic tour, but we had a toddler, so we weren't able to and decided to do the movie tour instead. Perhaps we picked the wrong one because although a few parts were interesting, we were bored for most of it (but note, we also aren't big movie fanatics). It was hard to keep my young children seated for 90 minutes, so luckily there were two stops for them to get off and run around. It also rained at the very end of our ride, so the water came into the bus and on us because it was windowless. So bring a poncho or something if it rains heavily on your tour time. I remember seeing a machine selling ponchos near the restroom as well. I didn't see any restrooms after we got on the bus, only at the ranch entrance. It was also VERY windy towards the top, so hats were flying away, so it's probably better to keep it on the bus. Also, you're supposed to arrive 45 minutes to check in, before your actual ticketed time. I think maybe we would have enjoyed the ranch more if our kids were older and were able to do the other activities with us as well. Our experience was closer to 3.5/5, but rounded up because the driver was very funny and nice. But keep in mind, we did only the movie tour and nothing else at the ranch.

We had an amazing time on the UTV Raptor Tour with Tony and Sydney. What great ambassadors for the ranch! Beautiful property with panoramic views, lots of info on native history and a few movie sets. Great day!

We did the 3 hour, private ATV tour at 8am and we had an amazing experience! Everything about our experience was so fun. The views were incredible!! Nothing like it them at all. We also had such a great time because of our tour guide Kai. He was so funny and kind, not to mention knowledgeable about the land. If you get him as a guide you are lucky! He did extra to make our time so special. I highly recommend this tour!!

It was an incredible experience with our tour guide Sydney and Tyler! Aside from the amazing views and fun UTV tour, we loved how Sydne taught us about Hawaiian history and legends and some interesting topics about the island. Her and Tyler was very fun to be with and conversed with us. It's our boyfriends first time in Kualoa ranch too and they loved the experience.

The ranch itself is awesome; plenty to do, but each activity/adventure is its separate price and excursion. I'm a huge Jurassic park fan and so I was debating whether to go on the Jurassic adventure tour (bus for ~$50) or the jungle Jeep. I ended up doing the Jurassic one, however, thinking the Jurassic tour would be heavily themed (like at Universals), it was pretty disappointing. Yes, the views were amazing, but the theme was lacking; it felt like the tour was insufficient - no music, no screen to give you the image, but rather the tour guide telling you "to imagine...". Also not a lot of things to do/see. We actually came back 20 mins earlier. It was pretty bare-bone and it looked like they didn't put much effort into it. The reviews on the Jurassic tour from 6 years ago look pretty accurate, which shows no changes have occurred. Honestly, I find it disappointing when companies know demand is going to be good and so they take us for granted and make no effort to make any changes or additions. If I were them, I would get Universal to be a sponsor and revamp it to reach a significantly higher potential. If you are trying to determine which excursion to do (and if you're on a budget), I would do the jungle tour versus the Jurassic one.

First time zip lining and this was far by the best experiences I've ever had. The 3 guys staff was so funny, friendly and made sure everyone is feeling safe. So funny the whole course. 7 zip line course, it gets longer every course. Zip line tour was the best. Would definitely do it again! View, staff and safety made it fun on our experience! Thank you all
