Such a quality kitchen for my business lunch in Gdansk! Food is all about local choices, prepared world class and served with amazing presentation. Service was also perfect. This place made my day in Gdansk!

This place is a hidden gem. Service was great and waiter was very attentive! The plating of the food was beautiful and very tasty! Do yourself a favor and visit this while in Gdansk :)

What a lovely restaurant, a lovely location, and great atmosphere. Make sure you have the lobster soup. We also had the duck which was delicious and the pork knuckle was divine

Authentic Polish cuisine—every dish is delicious and beautifully presented. The service is friendly and attentive. If you’re coming with a larger group, it’s a good idea to make a reservation!

This is a proper restaurant with proper food and good service. On the tourist trail, but much, much better than the average tourist trap. Had risotto and the pork chop with apple pie for dessert. Lovely atmosphere and live piano entertainment.

Our random first dinner in Gdansk and it became our best meal in town so far! We came to Kubicki when it was raining outside, didn’t have much expectations. It turned out to be exceptionally good experience: excellent food, wonderful service and lovely ambiance. We particularly loved the crawfish soup - a superstar in Gdansk!

Made reservations a few weeks in advance based on some research. Was only in town for a weekend but had a scrumptious dinner, with stellar service from a wonderful waiter and a great pianist which combined to make the atmosphere and experience superb. From the wonderful bread and duck fat spread, to the perfectly prepared duck and pork knuckle plates to the selection of wines, vodka and liquors. Ended buying a bottle of the just released chocolate plum (sliwka z nuta cezkolady) along with a bottle of quince liquor (likier pigwowy). Overall wonderful experience.

I had the pleasure to have a diner at this place, together with someone who is a regular visitor of this place. Inside you can tell it's a quality restaurant and if understood well, the staff is very loyal and happy to work here. The food was very good. Everything I ordered was just perfect and very tasty. From my experience, is this one of the better restaurants with Polish and not only Polish food. Very friendly staff, good atmosphere and I can fully recommend this place.

Maciek was amazing. This review is 2 years overdue. I forgot to submit it but the food was perfect the history of the place interesting, prices reasonable for the quality. I will certainly go back. One of the very best in gdansk.

Okay, so fish 2 days in a row can get very boring and I didn't want any carbs so back to pork knuckle it is. Was it a bad decision? Nope cause OMG this was delicious. This meat melted in my mouth so good I started making M&M jokes (the peanut kind cause regular sucks). The mustard and horseradish was a great addition too. Go to this place, you can thank me later!

Great experience, the restaurant's is location is very nice and easy to find. Great food, good staff and I love that there is a live music playing (piano). The ambiance is cozy, formal and casual. I recommend this restaurant.

Very nice restaurant with good food and professional service. They aspire to fine dining place, chic is a great improvement since last time I have visited this place. The restaurant offers good selection of polish cuisine. Meet, fish and poultry. Great Żurek, Tatar and Cod. So good pick for people who are keen to try some polish local flavors.

Our dinner choice for the second evening, suggested by our travel agent. There were 25 of us, so we had ordered dinner beforehand. Service was good, staff spoke English very well and they were clearly enthusiastic about their food and the restaurant itself. The food was good and the drinks to accompany the food went along nicely together. If I ever visit Gdansk again, I will probably come to this restaurant for a dinner. Down side was the live music, which was really loud and made talking with the persons next to you nearly impossible.

This restaurant is exceptional. We tried it after the gentleman at Radisson recommended it for dinner. The food was out of this world, and the service was phenomenal. Very attentive, warm and welcoming. I would highly recommend Kubicki to anyone. Starters, main dish, dessert are all delicious and the cocktails were out of this world!! Make a reservation, as they fill up fast. I promise hey won't disappoint!!

We lucked out again. The restaurant was close to the hotel and "When in Poland....". We all tried different appetizers, entrees, & desserts. Everything was awesome. The staff did a phenomenal job anticipating our needs. They even took it upon themselves to help introduce us to Polish specialties we may like. An extra bonus is the piano player; feel free to sing along.

Nice food but a little bit fat. Good price. Nice place to eat, drink and listen to some jazzmusic. The pianoplayer is not so good. Sorry!

The food is very good and fresh. If you want nice pyrogi ( typical Polish dumplings with different fillings) or fish then you will have to come here. All this is being served in an old nicely renovated building right next to the river. The reason why I only give 3 stars are the waiters. Little motivated and missing a decent attitude ( e.g. using their mobile phones in front of you, keeping change even when getting a good tip. Not getting your jackets etc.)

An outstanding little restaurant, with friendly staff very happy to practice their English skills. We were made to feel welcome even without a reservation, and the service was well-paced to our meal. The food was beautifully prepared and delicious, and the wine list was varied and priced as you would expect. Views from the patio of the river were charming and the entire place was kept very clean. We will surely visit again when we are in old town Gdansk!

Food was so so nothing special with very condescending waters on the border of being fresh , skip up will not return there unless the morale improves

Had the wild boar. Oh my God! What an explosion of tastes! Best meal I ever had! Also, the waiters were very friendly, acting funny and making us feel very special. Reserve a table if you want to eat here In the weekend.
