Kuchnia u Babci Maliny Resto&Bar

Our taxi driver gave us a few options for dinner, and we decided to go here in the end. We would have never tought this place would have been this great! The food was amazing, the waiter is really nice, so kind and even gave us tips for what dishes we should pair with warm beer. 10/10 experience. I'd only suggest to make the entrance to the restaurant a little more obvious, as there's only a sign and the menu on the side, and we would have never noticed the restaurant were it not for the advice from our driver.

The atmosphere is absolutely amazing. Great service and marvellous homemade food. It's a bit more pricey but definitely worth the price!!! Definitely recommend for a more proper meal!

We were able to get a table without a reservation and the staff was so nice. I wanted to show a friend of mine some traditional Polish dishes and it was perfect! The food was incredible and I would definitely come back again. ❤️

Babcia malina is not what it once was, I used to come here every year for the past 12-15 years or so and would take all my friends here. The decor of the restaurant has changed, although it is still very unique and pleasant and more of a pre world war 2 vibe. Food menu has shrunk substantially to what it once was, and although the mushroom soup was not on the menu I still managed to get it 😁 It was delicious! Although would’ve loved to have a bigger portion as there was lots of bread still inside which I feel could’ve been scraped out more to allow more actual soup to fit in. It used to be very cheap and the prices have gone up a lot, not sure the prices reflect the portions or selection of food. Asked for the wifi password and was given the wrong one. It wasn’t very busy, only 3/4 tables when I went so feel like the waiting staff could’ve been more attentive and asked if everything was okay with the meal. Honestly would love to see it back in its hay days. Was looking to order wayyy more but the limited menu and prices were restrictive

This restaurant is a very beautiful place with good drinks. When we got there a musician was singing at the piano and everyone was listening the music and enjoied the evenibg. The food looks amazing, but they are not as good as i thought, some of them are too spiced up and others could need some spices. I recomand the special tea and the hot chocolate.

Nice restaurant with an original design and good food. The service was okay but my dumplings a bit too oily. Cool place to eat in though and worth visiting.

U Babci Maliny is a shadow of its former self. The old place was a quaint diner with large home cooked meals at an excellent price. It felt like you were in an old Polish home. I loved it there. It turned into a pretentious, overpriced restaurant. The food was good, but it was a small serving and too expensive. I got the potato pancakes with goulash, but I only got 3 pieces of meat. I was very disappointed. I will no longer be recommending U Babci Maliny as the go to spot for the best Polish meal in Krakow.

The food was excellent and a fair price. I had the sausage soup followed by Ukrainian Pierogi. However the service was terrible. Having been served a porter beer which I later found to be ridiculously strong @9.6% , I asked for a glass of tap water the waitress refused as she would have to go upstairs. I declined the alternative 750ml bottle of mineral water. Following which she and the male water sulked an made a point of being polite to others whilst pointedly ignoring or not saying please or thank you to me. When paying and invited to offer a tip held my poise & I politely declined.
