Kuchnia u Babci Maliny Resto&Bar

We had a fantastic dinner at Kuchnia u Babci Maliny in Kraków! The atmosphere was cozy and charming, with a lovely vintage interior that made us feel like we were stepping back in time. The food was delicious — we especially enjoyed the grilled salmon and pork tenderloin with cranberries. The service was friendly and attentive throughout the evening. The total bill came to 232 PLN, which is approximately 55 euros — great value for such a tasty and memorable meal. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking to try traditional Polish cuisine in a warm and welcoming setting. We’ll definitely come back next time we’re in Kraków!

Walked in this restaurant by complete accident. Proceeded downstairs and was blown away by the picture collection which displayed the walls. I leave the explanation of what pictures they were for others to go and see for themselves. Upon going downstairs i proceeded into what looked like a scene out if a world war 2 movie. I felt totally immersed in nostalgia and was taken back to a forgotten time. The service was incredible and the food was the best I have ever tasted in my entire life, and I have travelled quite a lot being an ex seafarer. There was a cool looking dude sitting there playing the piano whilst me and my wife felt a million bucks. My kids were also blown away and still talk about it. I am looking forward to take three. As i have already gone back again because of it. Taste exsquisite food and taste. Go here now!

Our tour guide recommended this place as the best local pace for pierogies. We were not disappointed. They had a an extensive menu. Service was excellent. It was a fun place to be in with the decorations and all.

Ate at the U Babci Maliny two nights in a row. Everything absolutely excellent - atmosphere, decor, table, menu, service and food and wonderful staff. Will be my go-to restaurant next time in Krakow.

Great ambiance… and that’s the highlight. Our pierogi were ok, though bland (I’ve had frozen pierogi that were better. The potato pancakes were also comparable to prepackaged. There are (many) better places - even just across the street. At least the service was good. I suppose if you’re just coming here for beers, it would be ok.

One of the best places to have a Zurek in bread! It was awesome, you can eat only that and get out being full. Also, I want to thanks Mario for his hospitality, always worried about your experience and being patient with all the tables.

The service is fast, the waitress is very nice. However, the chicken garlic soup is quite salty, and it has too much raw garlic, my stomach was getting upset after a few spoons, 3 of us couldn’t finish the dish due to that.

Absolutely beautiful restaurant, extremely friendly staff and genuinely some of the best food I’ve ever eaten. Can’t recommend this place enough if you want authentic, delicious Polish food.
