The best food my wife and I have had while in Maui. The restaurant is beautiful, the wait staff are all top notch, the food is amazing. My wife ordered the Coconut shrimp. When the shrimp came out, it looked like a piece of art. Couldn’t believe it tasted as good as it looked! The Pork BBQ panini was also amazing! 10/10 highly recommend! Everything about this place is top tier

It’s a small rustic restaurant, which only adds to its charm. The food slaps, it’s top tier. We arrived for a birthday dinner and decided to come here last minute. I’m glad we did! Their bred basket was great, which is something the table shared. And we all enjoyed our entrees. They do not skimp out on portion sizes here, it is massive!! They also sang happy birthday to my sister in love, with the purchase of something from their bakery and the candle of course. Our server was always on top of things checking in with our table for refills and just to see how things were going. It was a great experience after all and the food definitely matched their service.

Small Bistro in Kula County. Great spot for dinner. The service was fast and friendly. It’s BYOB across the street is a little market to get beer and spirits to enjoy with dinner. Customers even brought small ice chests with drinks to enjoy. The food was absolutely exceptional! Great place to dine while staying in up country in Maui.

Best meal I’ve had in two week between Hawaii islands we’ve been traveling! I preferred the Cajun Ahi tuna! Great service to add to the great meal. If you are a spicy lover, ask for there raw vine chilly pepper!! 🌶️ 🥰

We came for breakfast/brunch after the sunrise at Haleakala, and then came back again for dinner. So good. The portion size was rather large and the food was so delicious. Our servers both times were friendly and gave wonderful recommendations on food selection/substitutions!

WOW. Just wow. We drove over an hour to come here on the advice of our resort concierge, and let me tell you, I would do it again tomorrow! The quaint atmosphere was very warm and inviting, and the meals were AMAZING. We tried the Blue Crab 🦀 Benedict as well as the Coconut Lobster 🦞 Bisque. They also offer a bountiful collection of cakes 🎂 and pies 🥧 for dessert. We tried the Lemon 🍋 Mascarpone Cake, and it was to die for! The crumb was nothing short of wedding cake consistency. We even took a few more slices to go! Even the coffee ☕️ was superb! The staff was EXTREMELY courteous and friendly, and that only made the experience that much more enjoyable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Google
Amazing food and coffee....don't miss it! We stopped for dinner as we were in the area. The flavors were unique and blew us all away. There is a small parking lot next to the building that fills up fast with some off street parking too. However, the grocery store right accross the street makes for some crowded traffic. We'll definitely come back at our next opportunity.

Kula Bistro is, in my opinion, one of the best restaurants on Maui. I recently had an outstanding meal there, starting with the perfectly cooked ahi. The beef pasta was incredibly tender, and the steamed clams with black bean sauce were a delicious and flavorful addition. The service was excellent—attentive and friendly—which made the experience even better. The outdoor seating is also a great option, providing a lovely atmosphere to enjoy your meal. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Maui!

Yelp
My 17 year old daughter and I stumbled across this amazing place when looking for some place for a late lunch while driving down from Haleakala. We went in blind: She'd found it online while I drove. I knew we'd be enjoying the meal as I walked in and saw other customers' panini: They obviously had used really fresh ingredients and looked as though they were cooked to perfection. The food was amazing. I had a Reuben sandwich that was massive. Great corned beef, generous sauerkraut, and cooked so the cheese just melted. My daughter went with toasted cheese and really appreciated the high-quality cheddar used in the sandwich. (She's really picky about flavors, and will spot the cheap plastic-like "cheese food products" some places use. The Kula Bistro went for high quality cheese.) We were both so full after lunch that we are pretty much skipping dinner. You could easily split a plate between two people and both be satisfied. We were too full for dessert, but it's worth mentioning their dessert case looked really amazing. If not looking for a meal, this place would be worth it just to stop in for a sweet treat. (Though the size of the treats made me think they could also be a meal substitute....) The food was great, but if it's possible I'd say the service was even better. Our waiter was friendly, advised us on the menu well, and was generally very welcoming and kind, as though we really mattered. The hostess/busser was really quick to refill water if we'd drunk a bit. I can't say I've ever had better service anywhere. The restaurant itself was clean and had really nice decor. All in all, I'm amazed this gem is tucked so far out of the way in Kula. Maybe that's there secret: They keep other costs down by being in Kula and invest the savings in great staff and food.

Yelp
Our family enjoyed our dinner. **Food: 4.5/5**: We shared all the dishes and appreciated the attentive service, including extra plates to share. The spaghetti with Wagyu beef meatballs and Bolognese sauce was a hit, with chunks of tomatoes, mushrooms, and basil that gave it a home-cooked feel. The lobster mac and cheese was delicious, with perfectly cooked lobster and a creamy, cheesy sauce. The bone-in aged ribeye was good, though we weren't fond of the peppercorn mushroom sauce and were glad we requested it on the side. The creamy mashed potatoes were addictive, and the fresh bread had an excellent crust. The clam steamer was okay; the black bean sauce was underwhelming, and a few clams were gritty. Portions were generous. We shared a strawberry cheesecake, which had a rich strawberry flavor throughout rather than just slices on top. I managed a small bite before the kids finished it off. **Service: 5/5**: The service was quick, attentive, and friendly. Our son drinks a lot of water, and they refilled our glasses multiple times without us needing to ask. **Ambience: 4.5/5**: The restaurant, while having many tables, felt quaint with enough space between them so we didn't feel cramped.

Yelp
Good! Dinner in house tonight and it was really nice! Much improved from our last several meals which had me absolutely shaking my head at the inconsistency and poor food. New ownership? Or new attitude!? The food is plentiful, and very well executed. Our table had the special stuffed artichoke, the salmon salad special with lilikoi dressing (my dish), a prime rib sandwich, a hamburger and fries, and a spaghetti and meatball dish. No complaints! The salmon on my salad was cooked perfectly, and the salad was colorful and gorgeous to look at. I didn't care for the dressing, too sweet for me, but overall it was a real nice dinner for a hot Summer evening. I'm excited to find Kula Bistro has turned a new leaf! Looking forward to returning to our popular neighborhood eatery again real soon!

Yelp
In the mood for pasta, ordered their Chicken Parmesan and rate it a 9 Grill Ahi with purple mash potato and salad rate 8 Known for its large portions, the chicken parm didn't disappoint and took home one-third. Ahi wasn't overcooked which would have been sent back otherwise. Great waiter. I recall on one occasion about 3 years ago, I had a large piece of Monchong and it was flavorless. Didn't see it on the menu which may be good for unsuspecting guests. Otherwise, have always been satisfied at Kula Bistro and recommend it to friends and tourists.

Yelp
We stopped at this quaint little resto before starting our jam-packed afternoon! It's a good thing we did because it gave us the fuel we needed! I loved the country feel this place had. Our friendly server made us feel so welcomed, and it was comforting to know she has been working there for quite some time! Good places have great workers! I ordered the Reuben sandwich with fries, which was huge but most of all, super yummy! I was too full to even order dessert, which was so unlike me, but I did walk over and take a look at all the freshly made desserts. My sister did get their last Guava Panna Cotta, which she said was refreshingly delicious! All in all, we had a wonderful meal here! Aloha & mahalo till next time...

Yelp
This is a great stop while in Kula. We stopped in right around lunch time and it was clear the local folks love this place as well. It was pretty crowded on a weekday but they had adequate seating. There was also outside seating as well. I ordered the panini which was very tasty and came with an abundance of French fries. The YS ordered the tuna which was market price but it was fresh caught so it was definitely worth it. He had a great salad to go with. It was definitely great to try out a place that the locals clearly love and get to experience a great eatery to boot. All in all I would definitely drop back by here again.

Yelp
Came here for lunch to celebrate a birthday. Oh what fun we had. Enjoyed our meals. I love the lobster Mac & Cheese. Always been my favorite for years! Love the artichoke too... but a bit messy to eat... The salads are always fresh. The desserts are the best! They don't take reservations so come early, or come at an odd hour

M S.

Yelp
The food was fantastic. A pleasant surprise as we found this place by accident. Four different meals and each was exceptional.

Ui L.

Yelp
A nice place to find when you looking for food in the mountain. Their desserts were worth the drive. We tried the artichoke, prime rib sandwich on Rye bread, and the shrimp scampi. There's inside and outside dining.

Doug B.

Yelp
First time here I hope to return. Everything was wonderful from the drinks to the apps to the mains and desert and great service. Steamer clams are a must. The meatball Wagu pasta really good and huge, others enjoyed their seafood entrées. No complaints at all just a great time.

Teah R.

Yelp
I saw this restaurant on a lot of blogs and "places to eat on Maui" lists so I figured we'd make a stop on our way to Haleakala. It wasn't too busy when we stopped and we were seated immediately. We ordered the crab cakes panini and coconut shrimp to share. The coconut shrimp was not as flavorful as we had hoped. The food was pretty average to be honest. I think my expectations were too high because of all the hype around it. However, they gave large portions and it was enough food to fill us up.

Brandi J.

Yelp
We stopped here as it was recommended by our Airbnb host and was not disappointed! All the staff were welcoming and our waitress, Momma J was awesome. Food was good and portions were nice. Inside the restaurant was spacious and clean.

Yelp
During our visit to Maui, we stumbled upon Kula Bistro while heading to Haleakala National Park. We were specifically looking for restaurants with vegetarian options, and Kula Bistro had received high ratings on Google, so we decided to give it a try. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the spacious patio area, which provided a lovely outdoor setting for our meal. Upon perusing the menu, my brother opted for the artichoke dish, which initially left us feeling a bit skeptical. However, our server assured us that it was something special, so we took a leap of faith. As we waited for our food to arrive, the anticipation grew. When the artichoke dish was presented to us, it was a sight to behold. The beautiful presentation immediately caught our attention, and it was evident that great care had been taken in its preparation. To our delight, the flavors did not disappoint. The artichoke was perfectly cooked, and it was complemented by a luscious white sauce that added a delightful creaminess to each bite. My brother was particularly impressed and thoroughly enjoyed the dish. As for me, I opted for the grilled veggie sandwich, accompanied by a side of fries. I must say, the sandwich was a veggie lover's dream. Packed with a variety of perfectly grilled vegetables, it was bursting with flavor. The panini was toasted to perfection, adding a satisfying crunch to each bite. And the fries? They were thick, crispy, and absolutely delicious. Overall, our experience at Kula Bistro was exceptional. The food was expertly prepared, and the attention to detail was evident in every aspect of our meal. If you find yourself in the area, I highly recommend paying a visit to this charming family restaurant. Whether you're a vegetarian or simply appreciate well-crafted dishes, Kula Bistro is sure to impress.

Yelp
Kula Bistro is a breakfast haven that deserves all the praise! I ordered the Crab Cake Eggs Benedict and it was heavenly. The crunch of the baguette toast, to the poached eggs, and the flavorful hollandaise sauce. Every bite was decadent. As for the mac nut banana pancakes, it was fluffy and had a great crust for texture. I would recommend ordering a single pancake to share because they are HUGE! The ambiance is cozy, it feels familiar and comforting. It's a great place to eat and enjoy good company. Now, let's talk service - it was amazing! The waiter ensured we were taken care of, always. Kula Bistro has mastered the art of a fantastic local eatery, whether it is for brunch, lunch, or dinner. From the tasty dishes to the comfy atmosphere and excellent service, you've got a fan in me. This spot is a gem, and I can't wait to come back for more! PS they also have yummy baked goods and desserts!

Yelp
Fabulous place to visit!! The service from Mathew was Spectacular he was very friendly and pleasant!! There was so many options for food that it was too difficult to decide since everything sounded excellent. I finally decided to order escargot for an appetizer my husband ordered the mahi mahi sandwich with Caesar salad and I ordered the small cheese burger with fries which was perfect and even that was plenty of food and left overs. The atmosphere in this restaurant is very friendly and the staff is constantly working to keep things moving along. Once again Mathew kept checking on us to see if we needed anything which I appreciated and he was perfect in his customer service which makes me and my family to return again and again! Keep up the great work Kula Bistro:)

Yelp
Came to Kula Bistro after the long morning doing Haleakala. We arrived around 9:20ish and put our name down on the list. Parking is super tough- they have a small lot with about 6 or so stalls otherwise you'll have to do parallel park street parking. We ordered the macadamia banana pancakes which were so fluffy warm and delicious. Between the two of us we definitely couldn't finish. If I came back as a solo person I'd order the single pancake for myself. We also got the loco moco which was also very decent but comforting and hit the spot after hours in the cold.

Yelp
Found Kula Bistro via Yelp -- overall it's cute find! However, Maui's most salient qualities, by far, are its natural beauty, beaches and people -- the food, notsomuch. Kula Bistro isn't the most economical place to satisfy your cravings and my rating is more of a 3.5 for the food, but the service and and atmosphere are great, so that makes it a 4. I had the wagyu meatball pasta ($27.95) and a slice of mascarpone pistachio cake. I requested to change the pasta from spaghetti to pappardelle. The pasta temp was just shy of al dente/springy enough. The meatballs were definitely tasty, though, but had a touch too much ligament/fat bits for my taste (personal preference). The pistachio cake was tasty, but $10.95 a slice! *wipes sweat from brow* No prices listed on the bakery display, but my fault for not asking before ordering -- my eyes were hungry! Lunch entrees range from $18 for a veggie focaccia sandwich, $30 for pasta/mains with meat, $40 for specials. So the food is not cheap, but you'll enjoy a calm, nice meal if you come here. Note: Extra 4% added to bill if you pay with card.

Chandrika B.

Yelp
Huge portion sizes and their own private parking lot :) friendly service and gorgeous outdoor seating :) In $62 (before tip), we got: - cappuccino - 4/5 flavorful strong and perfect size. I wish they gave a saucer and spoon to stir in the sugar - lemonade 3/5- not freshly squeezed :( but standard size glass so good portion size - chicken parmesan pasta - 4/5 - huge portion size. We two couldnt finish it and still have leftovers. Well breaded chicken topped with lots of cheese over a saucy bed of pasta .. yum! - crab cake panini 3/5- a lot more bread in ratio of the crab meat. The bread gets u full real fast and i could barely taste the flavor of the crab cake meat - steak fries - 4.5/5- perfect crunch and comes as a side with the panini

Dave L.

Yelp
We went back for brunch , because our dinner was so good It was even better. We had the big breakfast and the pancakes. Both were excellent. Bacon thick and crunchy. Perfectly cooked. Excellent service again. This place is really good. I hope we make it again.

Reese J.

Yelp
Parking at Kula Bistro is street parking. The bistro is big with plenty of seating indoor and outdoor and there's 2 restrooms available. The customer service at Kula Bistro is outstanding. Great vibes, great smiles, super friendly!!! We ordered the crab cake panini - very delish. My son didn't care for his grilled cheese. The fries here at Kula Bistro are amazing! And the banana chocolate frozen treat reminded me of mud pie but with a taste of banana. Super good!!!

Rebekah M.

Yelp
What a treat !! A bit of a hidden jem with high end food . The service was very good ! We went for lunch .

Dean S.

Yelp
Kula Bistro is truly a hidden gem on the island. The crab cake panini was absolutely delicious... I almost had to order a second one! This was one of the best crab cakes I've ever had, so much flavor and an amazing crispy outside. To make it even better they make their own homemade focaccia which was fluffy, chewy and seasoned beautifully. Even the french fries at Kula were top tier. Their dessert selection deserves much love as well with various homemade pastries and an ice cream case where all the flavors looked just as good as the last. It's a very comfortable restaurant with plenty of seats and outstanding service. Our server was so friendly I almost wanted to ask him to join our meal! If you want a beautiful drive up country followed by a stellar meal please find your way to Kula Bistro!

Jordan L.

Yelp
Great food, quick service and cute atmosphere. Nothing too over the top, just a hometown place with amazing and mouth watering desserts!

Jenae M.

Yelp
This was our first time here and it did not disappoint! We stopped for lunch, the service was great and the food was delicious! The portion sizes are large so if you're a small eater you could easier share. My favorite was the lobster mac & cheese, it was more of a soup verses the thickness of regular Mac & cheese but we loved it. We sat outside on the patio which was really nice. Overall this cute country style place is a 10/10. We will be back when visiting Kula.

Shae B.

Yelp
100/10!!!! We stumbled across this little gem in Kula when we were looking for a place for takeout on our way to Haleakala. We ordered the beef tips and the creamy pomodoro and OMGGGG soooooo good! The portion was huge as well. If you're a small eater, you could definitely share one plate. Very nice customer service and such a cute restaurant, wish we had a chance to sit down inside. They also have single serving desserts to go, already packed- which is great if you're just popping in and want a quick treat. We already said when we visit again, we're going back here haha!

Joseph S.

Yelp
This restaurant is one of my favorites on Maui. I drive out of my way to come here and eat. The service can be a little slow sometimes when it is busy, but their food makes up for it. The lobster Mac and cheese is to die for. The bolognese, shrimp scampi, and beef tip pasta are all really great options. I would skip the lamb meatballs because it is a little too gamy in my opinion. The bread basket with pesto butter is also soooo good. I will definitely keep coming back here.

RJ R.

Yelp
Food was good excellent and prices were reasonable. Great desserts too. Grab booze across the street at the general store.

Candy U.

Yelp
Will be now my go to spot whenever I am on Maui.Food is definitely worth your $$$.Not many places on Maui would be worth your money. This place is exceptional esp for breakfast.Love their fries and their poached eggs are cooked to perfection. Definitely recommend this place and will be back.

Yelp
We had an incredible lunch at Kula Bistro. Their menu is diverse and their food delicious. An added bonus is their extensive dessert selections from their case which included various cream pies, cheesecakes and creative desserts like a mango float cake. We saw one patron go up at least 5 times to purvey the goods. Our server was Mama J who was enthusiastic and knowledgable and provided excellent service. The ambience is that of an old Kama'aina store, and the entire staff is attentive and helpful and they work together so well as a team. Lindsey was especially gracious. I enjoyed their special that day which was a humongous pork schnitzel which practically filled the entire dinner plate, perfectly crisp and delicious with steak fries and warm chopped tomatoes. My wife enjoyed her mahi sandwich on toasted rye. We took one of tantalizing desserts home. We would wholeheartedly recommend a stop at Kula Bistro which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week. No liquor is served, but Morihara store is right across the street. They also have their own parking lot. So what are you waiting for?

Sofyan S.

Yelp
Food (5/5): Our group ordered the Prime rib sandwich, crab cake panini, Reuben, and matcha dream cake. The prime rib sandwich and crab cake panini that we ordered was really good. The prime rib steak in the sandwich had good tasting meat. It was a bit messy to eat with the garnish on top easily falling off but overall quite good. The crab cake panini was solid as well. It could've used a bit more seasoning but it was good. The matcha dream cake was also good and was made of ice cream. Service (5/5): They were quick to seat us, take our order and food came out quite fast too. They also checked up on us frequently and refilled water. Overall good service. Ambiance (5/5): A very nice sit-down restaurant in a jungle suburb area. Plenty of seating, very clean and not many insects inside. The road to get here has a lot of winding roads but it's a good spot to go to after coming back from Haleakalā National Park.

Neha G.

Yelp
This place does feel like out of nowhere atleast if you are coming from Halekala national park side. Just 1 min far of restaurant - you won't see a single person but once you reach this place- parking lot is full and this place is jam packed. We reached there pretty late (30 min before closing) but they were able to get us a table and serve the food. Food was definitely worth trying. The house salad itself is like a big delicious meal. Creamy pasta is rich with taste. The portion size is big so make sure you order accordingly. Excellent service. Oh and lot of the people were stopping by for their bakery. I have not seen a bakery inside a fine-dine Italian restaurant. Apparently it was famous. Couldn't try any dessert as we were super full, might try next time.

Anna B.

Yelp
(Late review from September - October 2022) I ordered the Bistro Burger with no cheese for dinner here. The fries were crispy and soft. The beef patty was juicy and cooked a nice medium rare. This restaurant also has steak, paninis, sandwiches, salads, pasta, and pizza.

Marelle H.

Yelp
Pasta here is fantastic and made in house. There is no alcohol served here, but you can BYOB. Nice menu selections and a huge dessert case. It feels like they are trying to provide a slower paced, upscale meal. Unfortunately, wine/cocktails tend to be a key factor in a slower coursed meal. Wait for the food felt really long as we sat with just water on the table.

D B.

Yelp
My husband and I had dinner on Monday for his birthday. The food was so delicious and the service wonderful. The calamari outstanding and the Mahi was the best we've had in a very long time! Highly recommend.

Ernest J.

Yelp
This is a great place in Kula, awesome scenery in a quaint little town in the west side of Maui. The portions are huge and the dessert selections are wonderful, I've had many, many of each kind they offer.

Barbara B.

Yelp
I used to love love love the Rueben. But somehow after they reopened from the Kula fires it was nowhere near as good. I tried it twice after they reopened and the second time it was just as NOT good. The bread was hard and dry and there was hardly any cheese or sauce so the sourness from the kraut dominated. Plus the meat was dry and there was less of it. They increased the price as well, which I definitely would pay if it was as good as it used to be. My other meal of choice was the fish and chips which is now off the menu for some reason. Needless to say I have not been back. It was truly one of my favorite places to eat especially since I live in Kula.

Stephanie A.

Yelp
We stopped here after we visited the Ali'i Lavender Farm as we saw it had great reviews and we are so happy we did! Great service and delicious local food!

Marynell K.

Yelp
We stopped here after working an appetite waiting for the sunrise at the top of Haleakala. When we got here, we were definitely hangry! This cute lil breakfast spot is family owned and staffed. We love supporting local! We walked in and we're welcome with virtually no wait time for our party of 5. My go to is crab cake Benedict's anywhere that serves them and I have to say these were by far my favorite. Their crab cakes are very flavorful. I like the toasted baguette that they were on and their homemade hollandaise is magnificent. I was unaware that potatoes meant French fries or I would have gotten another type of starch. We also enjoyed their fried rice and pancakes. For beverages we enjoyed their cappuccino and hot chocolate.

Tom W.

Yelp
Great food. I will go back every time I'm here. I love supporting local also. I had a burger and my buddy had the seafood risotto. Amazing!!!

Alison M.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing! Love the food and love the people. Scenery was beautiful! Staff so kind and helpful with suggestions of places to visit. And very fair prices!! Highly recommend!

Tristen C.

Yelp
This is THE best meal on Maui ! After eating very forgettable food at the resorts we ventured up country for a change of scenery The food here is EXCELLENT - fresh, tasty, colorful and bright. Highly recommend

Shannon C.

Yelp
Enjoyed early breakfast just as they opened. Cute place with an excellent area of desserts! Loved the hollandaise sauce on the breakfast sandwich!

Steven L.

Yelp
Grew up in Jersey and this rivals any Italian restaurant I've been to. The parpadelle is cooked perfectly and portion sizes are huge! BYOB but there's a wine/beer shop directly across the street. The desserts are even better than the entrees! This is a must eat if you're in the area

Alexis M.

Yelp
Cute little spot near haleakala, stopped after the sunrise. Service was friendly and welcoming but kind of slow although they apologized for it. Corn beef hash Benny was delicious and wayyyy more food than I expected or needed lol if I could go back in time I'd spilt it with another person. Overall the sauce was pretty standard, corn beef was great. Served with fries, which was weird but they were perfect! Veggie Benny was nice and fresh. The white choc macadamia pancake was by far my favorite thing! Tony bites of chocolate and a bit of nuts in every bite. I didn't even need syrup, perfectly tasty without.

Doreen B.

Yelp
I feel really bad in the sense that I had high hopes and have guilt about being the outlier. Although the experience started nice enough, the evening was marred by "peculiar" treatment. As in, we never got refills. I was treated really mean after showing her the pork was raw. - there was blood not gravy. And we had to wait forever for our bill.

Brent O.

Yelp
Loved this place. Benny and Liz were amazing and made us feel extra welcome. Deep menu, I had the fish and chips, coconut was just there enough to make it known, but not over powering. Fries had an extra little crisp. I was stuffed, but the dessert display looked amazing, hoping to make it back to try some. Nice chill vibe you can just relax and enjoy your meal. They charge extra to use a credit card, but it is explained at the door, on the menu, and on the bill.

Garry Y.

Yelp
Upscale dining in the middle of Kula Maui. We have dinner here a few times during our visits to Maui. We like the variety of food and many of their delicious baked goods. The food is served quickly. I would suggest you bring a bottle of wine to pair with the Italian dishes. Sometimes there's a wait involved and parking can be an issue

Lea C.

Yelp
My husband and I happened to be in the Kula area and came across this restaurant. We looked at the reviews and the food choices on the menu. The crab cakes panini and the crispy coconut shrimp caught our attention. Wow! Both dishes did not disappoint! They were so deliciously good! It tasted fresh and the flavors of the crab and the shrimp tasted wonderful! The portions are big so we're able to share. I would have given this place a 5 star rating, except the wait was too long, and parking was very limited. We waited for about an hour; however, the food was worth the wait. I highly recommend this place if you're in Kula, Maui.

Taylor K.

Yelp
Good vibes. Very quaint and nothing fancy. They sat out whole party (10) immediately and were quick w the service. The food was good. I got the kalua pork sandwich and it was just like a bbq pork sandwich. Delish. Fries are bomb. And they have tons of yummy desserts to go!

Jim P.

Yelp
I'm really torn on how to score this ONE meal. This came highly recommended and upon arrival I was truly excited. Cute setting up in a little town in the hills. Friendly staff and really cool menu. I was there at early lunchtime but also reviewed the dinner menu - expensive but the descriptions lead one to believe they are worth it. All ingredients are considered local - very cool! My friendly server and I discussed what I was considering- a lovely multi ingredient salad or a fish sandwich on focaccia with a choice of plain or cajun spice. After a bit more conversation I choose sandwich without the Cajun. It was a bit of a wait especially considering they weren't super busy and out comes my lunch...the salad(???). I'm thinking ...nope I ordered the sandwich. My server thinks about it, leaves the salad and goes to check. They come back with sandwich and all is well with the world. Except...it's done with Cajun spice. And the food is lukewarm at best. I decide to not mention as at this point who knows. So, if the food had been hot and not cajun'd and timely would have been amazing 5star lunch. I'm guessing my experience is an exception so check out other reviews as this place usually gets high marks.
