We had lunch at the Kula Lodge & Restaurant. We arrived an hour or so early for our reservation and sat at the bar. Argus, the bartender was very busy but still managed to take great care of us. We had lunch outdoors so we could see the beautiful garden area. Meghan was our server. She was very friendly and attentive. We had the wood fired veggie pizza, onion soup and the smoked turkey croissant. Everything was delicious. We highly recommend the Kula Lodge & Restaurant. Have a drink at the bar with Argus and ask to be seated in Meghan’s section. You won’t be disappointed.

Had dinner at Kula Lodge on Sat pm May 25th, 2024. Without a doubt one of the most delicious meals ever. There were seven of us and everyone felt the same about their meal. The service was superb - our waiter was knowledgeable with a delightful personality. Very attentive to our needs. We were also greeted by the chef that was also a wonderful experience. Will definitely go back…………..

This review is for the Kula Lodge restaurant. Cozy atmosphere with a sweet almost hidden scenery of Maui. I’d like to Compliment Mary our waitress who was kind & welcoming & I’d like to acknowledge the chef who made efforts to come out to speak with us and ensure our food was accommodating. The food here is absolutely delicious! So glad to have found this place as it was my family and I first time in beautiful Hawaii.

My family and I stopped here after hiking Haleakala and it was the perfect place to get lunch. The food was super yummy and the atmosphere was lovely. We really enjoyed the views from the dining area. Our server was very friendly and very attentive to our group. We met Chef Junior Ulep, and my family had a great conversation with him. We really enjoyed this restaurant!

We had a great meal at the Kula Lodge Restaurant. I believe we had their new menu which had only been in place for a few weeks. Kula Lodge is a simple place trying to be a fine dining restaurant. That's a good thing. It meant the dishes were prepared with intent and care, and were comforting at the same time. We had a more expensive dinner at a fine dining restaurant in a more popular area of Maui that was a generic good meal, but we all agreed that Kula Lodge was better. Some people in my group drove out twice during our one week trip to eat there again. The head chef came out to speak to different tables and it gave a more personal experience to the meal. The waitstaff were on point and friendly. When I come back to Maui, I will definitely come back.

We always stop at the Lodge for our trip to upcountry Maui. It is a rustic restaurant with huge pizza ovens out back and a beautiful garden you can walk around and take pictures of. The view is wonderful. The downside was it was packed and it seemed like there was only one server. I could be wrong about that, but I don't think I am. She was wonderful. She kept thanking us for our patience and there really wasn't much of a delay in getting our meal. I had the cheese omlet with potatoes and the most wonderful ham I have ever had for breakfast! It was really hot, too. We were not rushed at all, even though people kept coming in. We didn't have reservations...never needed them before, but, next time, I will make some. This was on a Sunday and I think alot of the people were staying at the Lodge or locals. We haven't had a dinner there, yet, so I can't soeak to that menu. Its always our first stop in the upcountry.
