A good cafe to eat at at the resort, still expensive but is a little tastier than the others. Half of the cabinet options were sold out at midday and were not being re-stocked so we just had to buy what was there. Pie was $11.50, wrap was $12 etc for the pricing. Still not amazing food so loses stars

Absolutely loved the coffee at Kulata Academy! Smooth, rich flavor and brewed to perfection. Even better knowing it’s part of a social enterprise training future hospitality stars. Great vibe, friendly service, and a real sense of purpose behind every cup. Highly recommend!

Friendly staff, baked goods were pretty good. I understand it's a training academy for local up and coming youngsters, great concept. Good attempt with the coffee, but the end product turned out watery. I am sure the barista will improve over time.

The mushroom pies and beef pies were delicious for breakfast. We had both an iced latte and hot cappuccino during our stay and really enjoyed both. Highly recommend stopping by at any time of the day for a snack or quick meal. 쩔어!

Google
Lovely little cafe in the heart of Uluru resorts, run by indigenous people. Wraps, pies, etc, however not your boring garden variety. I had a spinach and ricotta pastie that was seriously yum. Nicely filled, great taste, a touch different flavour which I'm presuming was addition of bush spices. Cost of $10.50, but hey; you are out in the middle of nowhere with limited access to absolutely everything, and for taste it was worth it. Definitely get something from here and give back to the community.

Lovely little coffee bar in the Yulara town square about 30 minutes from the Uluru canyon, probably the best coffee in the area. But maybe also the only place since it is quite abandoned. Beware though since it can get pretty crowded, especially in the morning. One litte thing though, the tables were really sticky, they should be cleaned more ofen. Otherwise great place!

Google
Nice Cafe with good sandwiches and desserts. Their haloumi & tomato / pumpkin sandwiches + chocolate crunch cake are all amazing. Try them, you won't be disappointed 🤩 Staff is efficient and lovely. I enjoyed the nice ambiance, relax atmosphere with good old songs (ABBA, Simon & Garfunkel...)! Very good value for money in the park!

Really enjoyed the chicken satay and beef brisket jalapeno pies for breakfast. Smelled so good forgot to take pictures before we ate.

Yelp
We bought meat pies, desserts and drink here - all scrumptious and of high quality. Staff have good customer service. Ambiance is typical of any Uluru restaurants - clean, quiet, & busy.

Yelp
A more affordable option for this price inflated desert. I understand everything must be imported into this place, but some bites are worth the prices more than others. This place fits the bill where you can get decent sandwiches and the coffee is stellar. After our excursions it's the only place that's open in those odd hours of too late for breakfast and too early for lunch. What draws us to this place is the coffee. The beans are good and the baristas know how to brew the cup of joe for you. The staff are attentive and are eager apprentices for their hospitality training. A gem cafe in the outback.

Yelp
We visited Kulata Academy Cafe several times while we were visiting Uluru/Ayers Rock. Each time we were pleased. Staff was friendly and helpful, coffee was excellent, and we really enjoyed their pastries as well as their breakfast sandwiches. Casual, quick-dining option...great options for breakfast or lunch and excellent, strong coffee. They offer shaded outdoor seating or AC indoors and the local work force is friendly and eager to learn...great mission driven company. Worth a visit...really enjoyed it!

Yelp
There are 3 reasons to go to this care. Outdoor shaded seating. Coffee is decent. Local workers are employed. They use Drifters Coffee so the roast is decent and they know what they are doing or will remake it if it is not perfect. There are a lot of trainees working so it feels like there is a lot of energy and people that are eager to learn. They also do some baking so worth it to look and see what is freshly made. Of course if it is too hot you can be inside in air conditioning, but being outside is excellent and they are willing to open up umbrellas if you need some shade. Definitely worth a stop!

Yelp
A decent place to grab a quick bite to eat in town centre. This is really the only cafe in the resort area. I had the salami sandwich, which was $9.50 AUD. It was toasted, but the filling was lacking. There was barely any brie cheese and an interesting relish on there that I was not expecting. Not a very satisfying sandwich, but as there really are no other places to get a sandwich and coffee this place must do.

Yelp
Surprisingly, I really enjoyed the Pepper Steak Pie here - I think partially, because I love black pepper and this pie really captured that flavour well. P and I basically ate this every morning and though at times, they ran out of milk and P couldn't get any milkshakes here. People are friendly and service was good.

Yelp
Great food, simple, tasty and affordable (for the area especially). Outside seating, pay first and they bring out to you.

Yelp
The food in Yulara was mostly a big disappointment, and this was a welcome surprise. It also offered a much wider selection than the airport location. The staff were friendly. The flat white was good, and not too inflated in cost given that it's literally the only coffee shop for hundreds of miles. The local tomato scone was literally the best food item I had in Yulara--dense and probably filled with butter, crumbly, and they toasted it. It's a nice setting, with floor to ceiling Windows and a good spot on the town square. There's probably not quite enough seating, but they don't rush people out, which is nice. They also have a good mission, which is also nice. This location has a bunch of savory pies and milkshakes, unlike the airport branch.

Yelp
This local social enterprise is a bustling cafe in the heart of Yulara. Providing training for indigenous kids you definitely should reward this place with your patronage. The many happy visitors was a good sign on arriving and the coffee did not disappoint. Great kids and great coffee! The outdoor seating looking across the market square is also a very pleasant spot to take a break.

Yelp
Wonderful environment to sit and eat something Although it is pretty sad that at 3pm there is hardly any food to buy. There were a lot of people looking for food The attitude of the staff behind the counter was somewhat sullen in contrast to the cheery guy who placed the food on the table

Yelp
Lovely Cafe Friendly helpful staff. Had breakfast and lunch at this little cafe. Breakfast coffee cold and not well made probably because the girl was training and overwhelmed with the orders and no help! Food really good ordered an iced coffee but hey added vanilla syrup, took it back and very quickly the brought us another, no problem. I believe this is a training restaurant and generally is really good!

Yelp
This place is value for money! For 7.50 you get a choice of bread, meat, as many salads as you'd like and a great range of sauces. I had my usual latte which was good not the best coffee I have ever had but by no means was it below average. I'm not sure how significant coffee art work is to flavour but I had a lovely heart on mine. The sandwich I created I used a fresh focaccia loaf filled with chicken a garlic and aioli as all the salads under the sun. All the ingredients were fresh and tasty, it was a delicious sandwich that resembled a modern cafe delight. If you're up staying in Yulara this is by far one of the best lunch options around.

Yelp
Had a good, reasonably priced sandwich sandwich and cookie for lunch here. Service was friendly and quick.

Yelp
Busy place to grab a coffee. I had one both at the resort and airport location as well as sandwich's which were both pretty good. Friendly staff

Yelp
We went here twice because it was such a great value. Subway style sandwiches (they fix how you want it) for only $7!! Their breakfast is $6. I wish I they were open later for dinner. No wonder there is a line because it is good food at an amazing Australian and Resort price. Wow. And the servers are way nicer than the other restaurants on resort. Eat here.
