Extremely unprofessional experience at Kulcha King – Karama.
We had a Zomato dining booking offering 25% discount + 10% cashback. While ordering, we were informed that the Non-Veg Kebab Platter would not be included, which we accepted.
However, at the time of payment, an employee named Mr. Shubman Singh refused to apply the Zomato offer saying the bill was already printed and could not be changed. His attitude was rude and dismissive.
We even offered to pay the platter separately in cash and apply Zomato on the remaining bill, but he refused. Because of this, we were denied around AED 130 in discount and cashback despite having a valid booking.
This is misleading to customers and highly unprofessional. If restaurants advertise offers on Zomato, they should honor them instead of denying them at the time of payment.
If this is not addressed, I will escalate this matter to Zomato and Dubai Consumer Protection.
