Kung Fu Burger

We visited for lunch for the first time. The food photos looked great and drew us in. The place was very clean and tidy, though a little on the dark side inside. The atmosphere was decent overall. We ordered the Aikido and Thai Chi. Both burgers had really nice sauce, it tasted handmade, which was a great touch. The Thai Chi had a subtle garlic flavour that we really enjoyed. The staff were kind and attentive, and the space, although small, was nicely decorated. Overall, it was good food and a pleasant experience, except for one issue: there was a bit of mold on the neck of the bottled water, which was concerning (see last photo).

Kung Fu Burger is a spot that delivers both creativity and flavour. The menu is packed with fun choices and tempting combinations that make it hard to choose just one. We tried the steak burger and the soft shell crab, and both were excellent — cooked perfectly and full of flavour. The staff were friendly and accommodating, which really added to the experience. Overall, a delicious meal and an enjoyable visit. Definitely worth coming back to try more from the menu.

OK. The beef patty in the Tai Chi burger was dense and kind of reminded me of a rissole without the crumbing. Chips were crisp and had a nice chicken salt like seasoning.

The food here was really good. We had the banana milkshake with the lotus chip fries and we also had a beef burger with an extra patty. Staff here is super friendly and the food came out Quickly - I would highly recommend this place

The burgers and dishes were clearly made with care. It was my first time trying fried lotus, and the sauce with dragon fruit was a unique touch. The kimchi-flavored fried chicken was incredibly juicy. Overall, a very satisfying meal!

Kung Fu Burger, Prahran 🍔✨ I tried the regular cheeseburger with vegan crispy chicken and chippies on the side. Honestly, I loved every bite. It’s such a tasty vegan option right on Chapel Street! Definitely recommend giving it a go if you haven’t already. 🙌

The food was delicious, with juicy, flavourful burgers and fresh ingredients. I especially love the chicken burger and the soft-shell crab burger—both were outstanding! My friend loves the steak burger and the grill lamb burger. The staff were friendly, attentive, and efficient, which made the experience even better. Overall, it was a fantastic visit, and I’ll definitely be returning!

Japanese inspired burger flavours. I enjoyed the beef best. Wasabi mayo was delicious. Would defs go back if I was in that mood. Tasty as.

Best burger so far ! Nice small shop, great AC , the staff was very nice and helpful. I got the "Jumbo Aussie" and some fries , sooooo good. I think the ketchup had cloves in it , interesting and a nice taste. The burger was very well made and you could tell the chef enjoys what he does. I know it's just a burger but if you can't make a "burger" look good and taste good then in my opinion you have no place cooking. I will definitely be back to this Melbourne gem. This is an interesting place for a burger, because not only do some of the burgers come with exotic toppings, but you can also get sides like spring rolls and octopus balls!! My favourite is still their classic burger - they even call it 'Respect the Classic'....indeed!!

Horriblle burger, dont eat there. Better get a souvlaki at night. The meer had a bad taste and some gristles in it.

Super friendly staff and great food. A few things on the menu are even a little exotic, more than I expect from a burger joint.

I had wasa burger, and it was booming, tasty, full flavour. The staff are on point and the place it's self is easy to find.

Not only great burgers, but they were open late, and were incredibly welcoming and lovely. New fave burger bar south of The river!
