Kunst Meran

Nice and small art exhibition space in the center of Merano. We went to the Studio Other Spaces exhibition during September 2020 and it was surprisingly interesting. However, unfortunately due to corona, the implementation of the virtual reality installations was very difficult, and took quite a bit of time to set it all up before we could experience it. Maybe have this kind of technology not integrated during a pandemic, when you have to be super careful about not touching anything (complicated with VR headsets), and stick to regular, frame or sculpture based artworks.

Very cool Museum of modern Art. The exhibition about Earthly Communities is ingenious. I highly recommend a visit.

Beautiful rooms but the exhibition is nothing special and a bit underwhelming to be honest. Cute gift shop and lovely staff at the front desk though.

As an architect, I enjoyed the building itself - interesting renovation and use of a classic old Meran building. The present exhibit on modern regional architecture was well presented, though some of the buildings/projects featured were not so great. Some, however, we're excellent.

Good contemporary art museum in the heart of Merano. Beautiful location, paired with an interesting architecture inside.

The catalogue of your local ikea is more interesting and impressive
